Good comfy downtime today, lads. Shooting down those helicopters with the minigun was a lot of fun.
The bane of every operative. [vid]https://my.mixtape.moe/cftsla.mp4[/vid] [editline]12th January 2016[/editline] Taking full credit for that kill. [vid]https://my.mixtape.moe/qovrbz.mp4[/vid]
So could someone clue me up about mine detection now in ACE, is the mine detector itself still broke or do we have to use our eyes or our faces to find them still.
I've been screwing around with Attack Helicopters recently because they're cool as fuck (seriously, when was the last time we had one in a mission? Someone should get on that.) but I noticed something weird with CUP. It seems like the laser ranging is broken or something like that. I have the laser designator set to on and it still always undershoots. The OPFOR ones are fine though, I use TAB to range and it works perfectly.

Oh I forgot to mention, someone needs to make a symbol for Onyx Phallus. :v:
Is there any way to make Helvantis...snowier?
Is there any way to make Helvantis...snowier?
put this in initPlayerLocal.sqf, requires cba/ace http://pastebin.com/gdWG34EY
also you guys know you can change some ace settings right? this is my preference for interactions, makes it a lot easier to navigate [editline]12th January 2016[/editline] you can also enable the medical menu and press "H" to bring it up
The Medical Menu is an absolute must-have. Once activated, just run up to an injured person and press H to immediately View his injuries and start to treat him. No more looking at individual Bodyparts anymore. And the Always Display cursor option is also really needed to make the ACE Interact menu actually good.

And that you have to reopen it sometimes in order for it to work properly.

I usually use the medical menu to treat myself and then check in self interaction just in case some part is still yellow

What AT launchers are being used in the Sunday OP?
What AT launchers are being used in the Sunday OP?
Albanians have RPG-7, Germans have MAAWS and a Bradley.
Sick blud, I can actually aim that via Iron Sights.
The only gripe I have with the medical menu is that lightly injured parts are too bright and can be mistaken for healthy parts.
That's not a problem though, it's really just a waste of bandages to heal something that isn't even bleeding and very lightly wounded, so you might as well not.
And that you have to reopen it sometimes in order for it to work properly.
And this is likely because you accidentally opened the menu for yourself, it happens sometimes. What I find is a bigger problem is that you don't realize you might not have the right body part selected and start bandaging healthy stuff. I've done that before. Seems that it doesn't always register clicks correctly.
Seems that it doesn't always register clicks correctly.
It is very fps dependent, I mostly have to hold Mouse1 for the click to register.
I don't wanna scare anyone, but I'm redownloading so that Terry can join you guys in the missions this sunday.
Next up is a change that is rather in your face. We're going to change the fonts for the game
[sp]HOLY SHIT[/sp]
[sp]HOLY SHIT[/sp]
Hey maybe now 6s and 8s are going to be fucking distinguishable now.
I wonder if they'll pull off getting a font shittier than Purista.
