It is.
It has some cool sounds, but the Explosion sounds of Dynasound is what makes me stay with it.
Also I'd like to still be able to hear people Talk on radio and in close proximity.
It's not at all like the first iteration was. I find them much closer to vanilla sound volume

tho I run my "effects" audio set to 10%
if I compare it to cup/HLC it's not much difference in volume
I got D&D today, gives me a chance to practice my Albanian accent for the OP tonight.
kinda sucks that he's focusing on RHS when so many groups are moving away from it

So I started playing Arma2 again. Since I thought I was semi-smart, I decided to look into Using Play WithSix (Big fucking mistake) to download and use all the million addons I used again.
So I put them all into 1 collection and let those addons download over night.
Tried to start the game, and was greeted with this:

How did they fuck it up this bad. This is with the Default Settings for Arma2 of that SIX Stuff.
How I can't play the game since Aparently CBA in their Eyes depends on CBA_TOH (CBA for Take on Helicopters).
But the CBA Docs say that this is optional.
on PWS this is a mandatory dependency, and there is no functionality that allows me to tell it to fuck off and not include it.
And don't get me started on the Performance and UI of that Shit.
Even the fucking steam launcher half a decade ago didn't perform that badly.

(There is a special place in hell for people who fuck with my scrolling. No matter how violent I scroll, I can't get forward in the lists. fuck you can even hear it in the video)
This is by far the worst Piece of software I've seen in a long long time.

Oh man that looks so much better then the old Play WithSix. For anyone who actually used back in like 2012 to download DayZ or otherwise, you'll understand what I'm talking about.

I have Ads disabled on Router level. IIRC it has Ads all over the place in the client, unless you pay for premium.
I did use it back in 2012, and the UI is just as bad as it was back then. Performance has gotten worse.

PWS is opensource afaik so DIY if you dislike the interface
I agree that usability wise the Six Updater 2.7x was best
while I don't like the PWS GUI (old nor new) myself it's not worst either
remember sixupdater v1 had just commandline text interface or web-browser local something

Tip for everyone: Call out your fucking targets. If you see an enemy or think they are, instead of ignoring them or start blasting them, please call them out to your squad. Any other relevant info like MINES and FRIENDLY TANKS OR HELIS are also nice to call out to avoid friendly fire.
