I'd like zombie missions, but A3 is currently heavily lacking a good universal zombie script/addon.
Ryan's zombies and demons mod is fantastic in looks and features, however it is heavily unstable.
I lurk their thread for news and there are tons of Server owners who report that the zombie mod crashes their Server within about 10min - a few hours.
I can attest this since we tried to use that mod aswell, and both times resulted in the server having run out of memory. (I gave that fucker 10gigs to chew on and it managed to fill the shit).
My theory is that they are saving a lot of data and states about the Zombies, but don't clean it once they are deleted / killed, causing something comparable to a memory leak.
There's also the Zombie Script from Dynamic Zombie Sandbox, but it is really inefficient and is as of right now still written in SQS (Ryan's zombies is also Partially written in SQS).
A Rewrite of Ryan's zombies would take a few days / weeks of effort I estimate.

i can't shake the feeling that i played in one of them during the arma 2 days, but after thought that it was total shit and then never played again

We still exist and play arma. However our player count isn't what it used to be, so any "joint-ops" would just fill a single squad.
