I don't think it happened the same way in Arma 2, so I imagine it's down to some physx implementation. I know even on vanilla vehicles you can jolt your vehicle around if you do some odd stuff, so from my math experience I guess it's part of the code that has a fraction and a denumerator that ends up very small, so it ends up as a big sudden force. It's a guess at least.
I experience these jolts often when turning or reversing, so when not affected much by forward momentum. There's some debug statistics that can be toggled that could possibly give a clearer idea of what happens.

Seems that HC can only handle 505 pbo's and currently we have ~520, couldn't we trim the mod pack in favor of getting a HC?

no this only applies to same-machine HC. external HCs work fine, but being on the same machine is much more effective since you don't have to send updates over internet.

I hate the fact that the game treats all vehicle/static weapon seats as if the player were inside a closed cab. I couldn't hear shit when I was on that mortar, it was like listening to people from the inside of a vehicle.
So one of your script magicians. I'm trying to set up a little mission that is similar to a Mario kart double dash sort of deal.
Does anyone have a script that repairs all the vehicles on a map completely every, say 2 seconds?
