You could get some cool looking magic tho if you get some cool particle effects.

Most CUP Assets are 1:1 Arma 2 or Arma 1 Ports when it comes to Model and Texture quality, meaning they use the same models and same textures.
There are a few cases, where they improve the model or texture (eg, applied the Bradley Texture that has been donated to them by RHS for example).
Apart from that, their main focus is porting all A2 content and the occasional custom vehicle that has been donated to them into arma 3 and apply PhysX and all that jazz to them.
i know i asked this before, but what happened to the gun sounds for robert hammer's guns
i always loved the gun sounds, but when i last played they sounded really bad
is it a bug in my install?

I altered them to use the sounds from project reality, and most people I talk to say they're okay
I really don't know why you liked the default RH sounds though
If you can suggest a new sound that's not the old ones feel free to do so

the sounds might have not been the default ones when i played in august
but i just thought they sounded a lot better back then (personal opinion)

They're an improvement over the older ones, but it doesn't mix as well when firing full auto.
