I want at least a three-paragraph post and/or recording from all of you about "how amazing this game is" on my desk the day after this comes out. Your final will be cumulative
I hate how you still can't order it on the steam page. There's other things tempting me to spend my money but I have to keep stopping myself.
I technically can't afford to buy this. Got too much else to do economically. But I just cannot wait any further. I've waited too long. At least it's not too expensive. I can take this hit.
Would anyone like to buy a semi used kidney? This game looks to good to pass up.
Would anyone like to buy a semi used kidney? This game looks to good to pass up.
What's the years?
What's the years?
Only 21 years. Maybe a couple of scratches here or there but nothing that a person who needs a kidney would really care about.
11 hours and 26 minutes left. I'm gonna go to bed now. I salute you all.
Only 21 years. Maybe a couple of scratches here or there but nothing that a person who needs a kidney would really care about.
sorry i go for the young kidneys deli-... more efficient
sorry i go for the young kidneys deli-... more efficient
I'll exchange a kid for The Forest, you up for it?
I'll exchange a kid for The Forest, you up for it?
do you have its knees
Agh, I gotta work tomorrow
do you have its knees
yes, but I had to break his legs to get him :( broken knees okay too?
yes, but I had to break his legs to get him :( broken knees okay too?
not ok at all bro
sorry i go for the young kidneys deli-... more efficient
Wow, you obviously know nothing about kidneys. Everyone knows aged kidneys taste better than fresh ones. Glad I didn't sell it to you. Would only be ruined in your hands.
This game looks good
Well I won't be able to play until probably late Saturday night or Sunday morning since I'm going with my girlfriend an a couple of other mates to go white rafting in Tennessee..To be honest I'd cancel the entire damn thing just for this game! :v:
I'm off tomorrow. Patiently waiting...
Wow I totally forgot this was coming out today, shame its not at midnight. I was hoping to scare my self shitless all alone at 3AM in the dark
Let me know how it goes. I generally hate horror games, but the environment is so beautiful and the survival mechanics seem well worth the scare.

I generally hate horror games, but the environment is so beautiful and the survival mechanics seem well worth the scare.
I'm not sure if it's going to be available for early alpha access, but there will be a peaceful (zed/cannibal free) mode in the game at some point in time. Edit: I do wonder how that's going to affect the "story" though. They said that you can play it as a survival game and ignore the majority of the story or you can actively seek it and draw conclusions tying everything together until it culminates in some sort of "end" to the game. With peaceful mode, I can only imagine that it will basically be Survivorman: The Game and not include the story at all because I assume the story is heavily based around the genetically mutated cannibals.
I'm going to do a live stream when it's released, my first one. So if you want to be my company while I play, join me later today(Exact time will be announced). Here's my streaming channel: http://www.twitch.tv/greendead
So do we know what the first version is going to contain? Do we have the whole island with reduced features, or just a certain area, etc? A danger I could see with early access is that if you got in too early and updates ere slow you'd get bored fast, especially if there's not much to do at first.
It's only a fraction of the island—which they claim to be adequately large enough to provide an enjoyable and immersive experience (according to the dev Q&A). One of the locations that they specifically mentioned you couldn't go yet is the mountains; they will be accessible once the full game is released, or possibly in a future iteration of the alpha. From what I've gathered the coast, river, and caves are all accessible, although likely not in their entirety. Oh, and you're not able to build in the caves either, they're trying to figure out a way to balance that and make it practical.
a cannibal mourning a fallen one "OH MY GOD HE'S RAPING HIM!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAA" - PewDiePie
Well, I really don't care about some random guy playing the game. How is that going to ruin my gameplay experience? and I really think it is smart for the devs to do/allow this. Free advertising. Also, thanks for the raffle Sarge.
This and Routine are at the top of a .txt list I saved like a year (more?) ago to remind myself of the most promising games that don't market themselves so i wouldn't forget can't wait
