I feel bad having a pile of body parts sitting around while cannibals wonder through my camp just checking things out.

So what use do effigies have? Is it better for it to be a surprise?

Gonna be looking into adding Oxide support for this. We'll see.

Also on my first day when I was trying to set up my shelter and keep my fire going through the rainy night about 4 cannibals came extremely close to my camp, looked at me and then began setting up effigies of the passengers all around me. One of them tried to attack me so I stoked my fire and he ran away while the others slowly walked off. They came back 10 minutes later and beat my sorry ass down until I blacked out.

Waited all day to look at this thread because I didn't want to spoil anything. I played it. It's awesome. I keep dying. I don't care.

So has anyone figured out how to cancel constructions so I can get rid of their ghosts?

So I found a little crevice in a cliff-side, setup a little camp inside it, built some walls and a trap in front of the door way. Now I'm crouched in my little hut and it's dark and there are scary noises everywhere and oh god There were footsteps that ran at my wall accompanied by some kind of scream, then silence, then slow footsteps walking away I nearly shat myself [IMG_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/K0E2c9K.jpg[/IMG_thumb]

This will be a massive hit for co-op. Honestly 2-4 people playing this would be great. Even in this current state of alpha, prob a ton of more people would buy it for co-op.

Start game up for the first time, learning the controls, searching the plane, opening suitcases. Not more than 10 feet from the plane fuselage and I look up to see one of them in the tree staring at me. Immediately it jumps down on me and I ran into the water and fell through the map. 10/10 spook factor.

Is this game running pretty poorly for you guys? I'm LOVING the game, but it's not running so well...

I feel like the mutants take too many hits.. 'specially when you're mauling one of them with an axe. Though, this is alpha as said, perhaps it'll be tweaked, some vital areas do extra damage or something. In the meantime, it is pretty amusing chopping them left and right.

This game is really fuckin difficult. That's good though, I like a challlenge.

Accidently set fire to myself, jumped ontop of my shelter to escape. Somehow set fire to the shelter too. The shelter spawned a massive pile of logs which exploded everywhere (they have solid collision but I can't pick them up) and is now always on fire, but still fully functional. Now I have spazzy logs everywhere to protect me from the mutants. [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/Uk387tk.jpg[/img_thumb] Also I live on a beach which has limbs everywhere. My FPS steadily declines after a while, anybody else getting this? No matter what I get from 50+ to a mere 10 FPS Aside from that, I am really liking it. For such a small team it's a solid Early Access.

Is anyone else getting issues when it comes to swimming? It's like I am just floating and then I fall down and die most the time.

After a few days cannibals just stopped coming around and I couldn't find them anywhere so my trap went unused :(

So: i7-2630QM at 2.7 GHz GTX 560M (2 GB) 8 GB of RAM Can barely pull 30 fps on the lowest settings. I guess it's really time to get a desktop. I know it's an alpha, but still.
