Though the saving is still 'broke' in a way, the other fixes from this update are pretty great

Couldn't agree more. Even if all of the AI things are an accident (which I highly doubt), then they're great accidents that seem like great AI, which is exactly what is wanted.

Once I get the food and drinks off the plane, I usually run right off, break one suitcase (sometimes none) and run straight off to find a place. It's worked well so far.

Am I the only one experiencing the complete loss of most of their items when loading a save? When I load in most of the items in my inventory are gone and when I pick up other items they don't show up.

I'm leaving this alone until they sort out the damage the cannibals do, them one shotting you and taking several hits to kill while coming at you in a group of 2-5 is beyond difficult, it's just plain unfair.

I'm having no problem disposing of them. In fact I've started heading at them when I see them. They're a very small threat once you've learned how to handle your controls and manage your stamina.
I hope at some point they plan on making it so that we can reset our traps.
I'm actually not so sure how I feel about a finite amount of mutants, it has potential to lead to a very boring game state.

The AI has to be far more challenging in order to make finite mutants viable. Right now, mutants are only a pain because they are bullet sponges, so I hope that eventually they lower the health, but make them smart enough to do far better. Plus, make OP weapons like molotovs more rare, but much more effective and not just OP because they break the AI.
