I can already see myself not paying attention walking off the boat and being eaten by a shark. Was really exited that I would be able to get up and jump right into the game but now I know that the game wont release until 5pm tomorrow (UK time) I am sad as I will have to wait during the day. It is easier when you just have to go to sleep and when you wake up it is there but when you wake up and know there is still hours to go it is much worse.

The exposure this game is going to get is humongous. Literally everyone I know is going to get it, even those who aren't very interested in survival games in general. Let's Plays and streams are fully allowed, and so is monetizing on YouTube. So the amount of people who'll upload videos to YouTube on it is going to be massive. I personally know and talk to a few LP'ers who are just as ecstatic about it as us and want to play it on release - PewDiePie, MangaMinx, Markiplier, Cryaotic. Not to mention it'll probably be get a WTF-episode by TotalBiscuit, the amount of reviews by big gaming sites and physical magazines...
