They did well. Sure they didn't get 1st place but they went from underdogs, through the lower bracket, destroyed previous Ti champions and made it to the final showdown.

The only thing I am disappointed about is that there was no super remarkable play in the final this year. That echo slam in rosh last year was fucking SICK.

Well, they were too stressed about that game. It's understandable they made the mistake on focusing on the enemy's hero instead of going for the throne directly.

I wasn't even in the thread back then, you'd probably see me express the same issues I had that year too
I was a secret fanboy who bandwagoned onto EG, got impressed with CDEC. But still wanted EG to win.
This year I clearly stated I wanted EHOME to win and since they didn't win I went with Wings, tbh. OF course a bit disappointed with the curse not being destroyed. But, at least I got to see such a wonderful team of people who came together to realize the dream that Team DK couldn't and they managed to do it.
That's how I see it.

The final TI game reminded me of watching Dendi stream and bitch about Anti Mage's pure skill to perma-bash a hero as said AM was destroying his Invoker. Sad to see DC lose but what a good draft for an AM match for Wings.

Welp, so ends the best TI fucking ever and the even TI curse is broken. We had a final that didn't suck.

In 6.89 I expect to see Mirana aghs nerfed a little, perhaps a timber nerf, buffs to Lina, bs and lesh
Besides that I I think dota is in a good place now

Timber needs weak level 1 skills so maxing armor first and doing a ton doesn't work

Man, it's crushing reading summer of the DC guys Twitter's. You can say they still got away with $3m+ but that matters less than the fact that they didn't get first. I hope they pull together well in the next few weeks.
