Well, new version is out: 1.4.
Stealth Assassin (hero) and infravision dog (item) added. With that, the game is now feature-complete!
That's it, with this update all heroes and items from the original eul ROC Dota are now in! The port is done!
I will add some bugfixes in the next few days/next week and release 1.5 with that, but that's it for the most part. The main work is done. [B]The original dota that that sparked the genre is now ported to Dota 2![/B]

killray can tell you to go mid and build radiance/manta/whatever, but i dont think you'll be getting any of those items at any decent time if you dont know what youre doing, and were never exceptionally good at farming. youre probably going to get a 28 minute relic, lose, then never want to play the hero again
just pick a hero, buy whatever boots you feel like buying, buy an item you like that you think would be cool on them, and just see how it goes[/QUOTE]

I think it is habit at this point.
I may have started because I farmed slowly so didn't want to delay other items longer.
Maybe because I don't like selling (some) items.
Maybe because I run out of inventory space to fast (somehow).
hell sometimes I have both upgraded boots and boots of travel

It's not stupid, if anything it adds to the creepiness of it. If they could get away with making a voicepack as part of the bundle then it'd be understandable.

for the most part, yes. warhammer fantasy is just a cliche trope filled tolkien-esque fantasy scenario.

Also no warriors of chaos knight themed set for Chaos Knight
Only one I want is Wyvern, but I'm not opening 11 chests to guarantee it.
I just want the Pudge set. Imo it fits him well in concept, and besides, that's one of the few I was crossing my fingers that would get into the game. My silent pleas have been heard, and I have been rewarded for it.

A. None of the heroes were designed to fit warhammer attire, so it doesn't matter at all since the chest even exists, and
B. I mentioned that it was one of the better quality sets in the contest. Not saying it was a fantastic concept, but the actual set itself looked nice graphically.

Any other comment I made was on personal taste cause I did actually like the set. Some of the sets that were added look awful too.
