Dota 2 General Chat XXXII - 6.88 will make the ancient summon robot miners and TPs will be free

tbt sprouts were dealt with by force staff long before even pikes
I gotta say, the update to warden has had essentially no impact on his performance as a hero.
I'm a 3.2k scrublord but it feels the same as pre-6.88d except i cant just throw the double [I]quite[/I] as much.
[QUOTE=Yahnich;50995660]sprout was a good ability until hurricane pike got introduced, now its simply not any more[/QUOTE]
and the popularity of iron talon also doesnt help.
clovis peaked at like 5.4k anyway i think
[editline]3rd September 2016[/editline]
also my personal opinion: i think np is a game losing hero because hes not worth the investment on the map for just splitpushing and a mediocre tree disable. he also requires a lot of farm to have a teamfight presence and the aghs build isnt good in the current meta
[editline]3rd September 2016[/editline]
if i have to back up my opinion with some mmr garbage i peaked at 5.6k and places top 32 in na open quals so
np is fun to play in the lowest brackets with the aghs octarine build because you keep pressuring all lanes every 40 or so seconds and 2k players don't realize treants are worth a lot of gold
Also I have like 8 lose streak with that hero because I kept trying to do his quest :v:
hero specific hotkeys should cover the items too, I have to change quick cast on some stuff every time I want to play tinker with dagon-eblade-hex
[QUOTE=KillRay;50997304]clovis peaked at like 5.4k anyway i think[/QUOTE]
Exactly, he's a sub 6k shithead.. THEREFORE: His opinion is invalid and he doesn't know [I]just how bad[/I] Natures-Prophet is!
[editline]4th September 2016[/editline]
I swear to god if someone references poe's law here. . .
I'm only a 2k scrub, but I've never had a problem with NP when I play him (provided I'm with good players) as a semi-support and pusher but it depends what items I get first I guess.
Question: why is being 3k - 4k so bad? i am 3370 and i cant get past 3400 because, you know, you are not the only player in the team, a bad team could lose you a match, and also i always play support so i don't think i will ever get past 3500 maximum.
climbing would be far more comfortable if valve removed those retard-trap heroes from the 3k bracket like axe, lc, wk and furion
Slark is the perfect example of a retard-trap.

I like this set. Of course it's the rarest tier in the chest.

I never said that nor did I say being below 4k makes someone bad. I was using it as a point of reference to understand his reasoning better.
Look at the guy's reasoning for Nature's Prophet being bad, it's clear he doesn't have a lot of experience with the hero. Nature's Prophet isn't the best hero but he most definitely isn't one of the worst heroes like the guy claims.
worst hero in the game right now is got to be either sniper or pl
id say the worst heroes in the game are actually lesh and bs
Techies.
forgot that hero existed lol
Techies needs his sweet sweet red mines damage again. Was too fun then.
Mines are otherwise okay but them giving gold is kinda lame, a single sentry can reveal 5-12 mines easily and with each mine being worth 10 gold that means free wards, pretty much. Or if not getting rid of the gold reward fully, at least lower it to 4 gold per mine.
adding bounty to mines and quelling defusing was enough of a nerf. Decreasing costs and damage values was totally unnecessary. Also, mine stacking
Gold and xp bounty on red mines makes them unusable. Not being able to perfectly stack them while simultaneously requiring twice the amount makes triggering them properly unlikely at best, even before that change I can recall only half of my perfectly stacked mines exploding at once at more occassions than one.
What would have been far smarter is nerfing suicide, adding the quelling blade thing, and increasing the delay time on red mines explosion. This would leave the hero in a comfortable position where it will never see pro play but will at least work in pubs. You could even add a delay time on green mines if you really want to additionally nerf the hero after that.
They shouldnt have cut his damage in half though. Everything else is fine but not being able to stack the mines and having to lay down twice as much to be effective is retarded
Next patch notes: stepping on enemy Techies mines now gives you gold and xp
I'd say Treant Protector is actually one of the worst heroes in the game. His only unique and arguably standout powerful ability requires 4.2k gold on a 5-pos hero.
[editline]4th September 2016[/editline]
Actually you also kind of need blink to maximize the potential of said ability so that's more like 6.4k gold

I don't think Techies is getting any nerfs, nor buffs.
He was ruined like five patches ago, it's over, they don't care.

have you ever actually played treant?

Umm what?
Every time I play with a treant on my team we win due to the massive ult impact to disable teams/zone other enemy heroes.
[editline]4th September 2016[/editline]
Not to mention the insane global targeted heal that works on heroes AND buildings and his strong slow
[editline]4th September 2016[/editline]
And his unlimited invis as long as he's near trees
What could be interesting is if they made the invis cheaper in mana and made it give more movespeed, maybe make leech seed selectable on magic immune targets.
Treant does feel a bit weak atm, also wasn't he one of the heroes not pick at TI6

treant probably fell out of pro meta because his global defense presence is all he has to offer earlygame, and 50g tp scrolls made that presence unnecessary

he's the only hero in the game that can heal buildings, I think that qualifies as unique
