Aw great, more sets with questonable quality. Nowadays half of them reminds me of old css "HD SUPER 5k TEXTURES" weapon skins which looked jackshit on defaul arms.

Lobster is funny, the Veno set looks fucking awesome, the NS set is decent and the Omni set is perfect with infuser.
*The puck set looks weird but it's not terrible.

Can you buy levels or are they doing the same thing they did last year with the winter pass and not letting you? Just curious.
Besides Omni the infusions (which is STILL a fucking stupid idea) looks really desperately tacked on. Like "fuck we forgot this needs particles! Uh....UUHHHH!"
whenever they release a chest with infusers is looks like one set that should have had the particles in the first place but were removed to make you buy an extra item, and then two sets with no business having particles that were just added for the sake of it

I honestly gave up hope on that model ever being updated.
Now we just have a couple dozen old hero models that could use an update!
cosmetics being absolute over designed messes is the community's fault
very rarely you're going to see something modest because all the eyecandy stuff will get voted to the top
I like some of the particle effects, not fan of others;
Slark set seems really good overall, the particles are unnecessary but they don't seem out of place.
Venomancer set is [I]obviously[/I] designed around having particles emit from the back item. Without them the back item looks incredibly lacking, so this is bad design.
Nightstalker set is a bit overdone (the thing on his forehead, what the hell is that) but the particles are very good because they are subtle and only show strongly when he is hasted/moving fast.
Puck set seems very uninteresting to me, and while I like the "lagging" effect of the particles, I'm not a fan of the set overall.
Omni set is great, and the halo effect is very small but fits the hero perfectly. Best set out of the treasure.
AM set is gobshite, especially the hair. I kinda like the particles on the gauntlets though.
Warlock set is okay, golem looks great, the lantern is kinda overdone with particles and for some strange reason the lantern also gives Warlock a red "mist" around his hero. That mist effect is fully unnecessary, and would work better with another item from the set (such as the shoulders)
The courier is boring, the particles are overdone on the later levels.
Ward is very cute, and I'm glad it isn't cluttered with particles. If it should have particle effects, some strands of hay could come outta the sleeves, but that's not needed.
Brewmaster taunt is incredibly dumb, but in a [I]sort[/I] of lovable way.
Centaur taunt is otherwise very nice, but the music completely ruins it.
The new loading screens all look nice.
The effigy blocks are also very pretty and unique (rather than just blocks of solid stone/metal, wood is a very welcomed change of pace)

plus, valve said a long time ago that they know the community loves crazy overdone things. back when csgo first got its crates, a bunch of the items where camo schemes, but no one wanted to use those, they wanted to use the purple guns with lightning and the nerf ones. so they've just been piling those into chests because it's what the community wants. same with dota.

It's depressing how things have become.
All these sets look like absolute garbage, the Omni set in particular. The new infernals also just look silly.
The Razor one could be worse I suppose.
I wasn't going to buy the battle pass but it was listed for like 4 bucks on the store page of dota 2 by mistake. So, i bought it. You win volvo even though i bought it for half price. :saddowns:
