proceeded to kill him twice, giving him the "?" each time, and on the second one he said "its funny cos youre gonna lose because your teams shite"
we had all 5 players on our team spamming this line out when we were taking their ancient

Culling Blade doesn't do 99999 damage, that was in DotA Allstars. It only deals how much HP you have left, by doing so, it's possible to survive getting culled. There's only two ways that I know of, one being Kraken Shell dispelling a -STR buff, so Tide gets HP back and it gets past the threshold, another being Axe with low HP culling a blade mail Bloodseeker with Bloodrage on, so once Axe culls seeker, he dies due to the returning damage and seeker gets HP back before the cull happens, but still displaying the successful cull animation.

I didn't find a video on the Bloodseeker blade mail issue, but I'm 100% sure I've seen it before.

It's too hard to build early in the game and doesn't make a significant difference once I can build it
Meanwhile Aghs is split into 1000g parts so it's not impossible to build
That, and it allows me to save my teammates, which happens at least once every game, so getting that quicker is a good thing too

it's not a first item pickup unless if you're getting really good early farm. the buildup items dont help you at all at that point in the game
all this shivas talk is giving me flashbacks to my first few months playing dota when i would only play crystal maiden and i'd build shiva's guard every game

Just tested it
Lifesteal and Mana Break are both Unique Attack Modifiers, so they cannot be used together at all.

if you're having trouble getting items on phoenix then you should probably get an early midas. it gives you levels which are really important, and since most of the items you want are quite expensive, it doesn't slow down your item progression that much.
also aghs is not even close to as good as you seem to think it is

I had an antimage on my team like a week ago try to farm camps with a naked morbid mask
I assumed he was going vlad's first and just wanted to buy the biggest piece because he was afraid of losing the gold on death or something
but nope be went morbid mask first then finished treads then went right into battlefury
after getting claymore and broadsword was when he realized that his lifesteal hadn't been working all game, so that's when he decided to finish vlads
then he finally finished his battlefury at like 40:00 and the game was over

like i'm not high level but how do you get to even mid high 2k without knowing what stacks with lifesteal
i can't even imagine how broken HotD would be on AM if it stacked with mana break

I remember reading a strategy a while back that actually did this
as long as you don't skill mana break lifesteal does work on AM so the strat involved skipping mana break until you were definitely ready to fight and using a hotd to farm the jungle while you used your creep to either farm the lane or stack ancients
then later you disassembled your hotd into a vlads and i guess you sold the helm of iron will and quickly leveled mana break 4 in a row so you can blow up people by the time you finish manta
I never actually saw it used but the idea always seemed super cool to me
The only way i see it:
Buy dominator - farm core stuff - disamble later pieces into vlads and [b]armlet[/b],
then be microgod and have personal courier with armlet in it and every time you're about to use manta, pick up armlet instead of boots
