I suck so hard as Bane. I don't think I ever won a game with him
Funny, because in that game where the first blood happened, one of the enemies said "oh so you actually play arc warden" after a particular play
Yup, Goolian and I are both rabid Arc Warden fans (which makes it kinda awkward that he's probably my best dota friend)
Picked jungle pudge, didnt feel hooking at all, so desided to go for some hp tank build [t]http://new.tinygrab.com/4e62f66da7aeb8ffe1bbddcf410df7929f31ab3071.png[/t] http://dotabuff.com/matches/2405949819 we won somehow
Pudge has literally no good abilities for jungling early game (Rot is decent after you have a hood or something, bad before that), what the fuck were you doing in jungle as that hero
Having fun XD
What is the single worst hero to jungle with? Pudge would have to be in the top 5 I imagine.
Pudge only works because you can cheese it by hooking to lane creeps to tank for you, invented by Jenkins In a non cheese route: huskar pudge sniper are probably the worst
Jungle pudge is basically smoke + healing slave on stacked camps, think of a worse version of jungle SK with better ability to gank/save safelane and mid
What is the single worst hero to jungle with?
From my all-hero jungle maraphon i can say Nyx, Spectre, PL, Zeus and TA are the worst jungles at early levels
If you do the smoke and salve way you are wasting levels not maxing hook and time since creeps scatter
Well thats fair, although maxing hook is not allways important, sometimes its better to max rot and go for early tranquils+wildlance ms build to chase people I guess at this point this should've been called roaming, since i left jungle too early, my mistake
You also spend a lot more money than a Sand King, he only needs to buy one or two clarities while you need to buy at least two smokes and probably 3-4 salves. Plus the recent addition of small centaurs and hellbears having 20% magic resistance aura (that stacks) really makes jungle Pudge just not work anymore, it was kinda butchered when neutrals were made to flee from invis damage.
I wonder how well a jungle Io would do assuming he actually tried
Well thats fair, although maxing hook is not allways important
This is wrong.

https://yasp.co/matches/2406177971 i just think this hero should be abolished
is dota 2 still worth playing for someone not interested in the super competitive scene like teams and shit? i haven't touched it in a year so i'm horribly out of touch, hence the question

i consider this cheesing, huskar can do the same in fact any ranged heroes can (idk if you still can cheese new radiant side, old you could cut a line of trees) i mean straight trying to clear camps without cliffing and stuff [editline]1st June 2016[/editline]
is dota 2 still worth playing for someone not interested in the super competitive scene like teams and shit? i haven't touched it in a year so i'm horribly out of touch, hence the question
if you enjoy mobas, yes
Official Changelog All Rare and Very Rare items in the Immortal Treasures now use escalating chances whereas previously only the Ultra Rare items operated along that mechanic. Rarity rolls have been backfilled to users who have already opened Immortal Treasure I, and those with successful rolls will find the respective items waiting in their Armory. Escalating Odds: The chances of receiving an item from this treasure improve with each one you open. When you see a drop with the Escalating Icon, your chances of receiving it improve with each corresponding treasure you open. Open more treasures to make your own fate!
I still didn't get a phoenix immortal :suicide: I also remembered, between levels 1 and 100, you unlock a single immortal 2 treasure, everyday I regret buying the compendium more and more. I can see next year compendium having no rewards from levels 2 to 50 :v:
The initial hurdle is rather hard, but a good Arc Warden player can keep you in the game for AGES and long enough to make a comeback. Get a load of this game, for example. My friend played Arc Warden support and gave buildings evasion constantly with his tempest double and original self to prevent the enemy team from pushing in, while the rest of us CC'd the heroes or cleared the creepwaves and we did it long enough for us to make a comeback and win. Spark Wraith also gives a lot of map control for 50 seconds per wraith since it gives some vision and rushes into an enemy who comes across it. With the Tempest Double you can throw tons of them everywhere. He's an excellent support and a very off the walls one too, since he can't do that Divine Rapier bullshit anymore. Everyone should learn to play him. Including me.
You say that but arc warden has the lowest win rate across all brackets (wisp has a 56% winrate in 5k+). 2k: 39.5% 3k: 40.4% 4k: 33.3% 5k+: 40.9% Really solid hero guys. His friend did well with him in that one game and wargod got a first blood with him when a lone pa walked into 3 heroes and some wraiths.
me and my friends made a reaaalllyyy cringy shit soundboard of the dumb fuckery that goes on when we play dota. each of us are color-coated and i think it may be appreciated here. http://memeboard.pancakeapps.com/
I wonder how well a jungle Io would do assuming he actually tried
Here's your (like 6k mmr) answer: Unfortunately, due to magic resist buffs on jungle camps, this is no longer possible.

His skill set is very versatile and great against ranged physical attackers, what makes him challenging to play are his bad stat gains and micromanaging a second Zet. Mark my words: Once he's available in Captain's Mode and gets picked by a team in any role, the pubs will start picking him and imitating what they see in pro games. tl;dr GIT GUD:godzing:

Arc warden is objectively the single worst hero in the game. A while ago, bulldog randomed him and he spent the entire match bitching about how arc warden is the worst hero in the game and how he just doesn't do anything or fit any role.
alright well if bulldog said it then it must be true good argument my dude
alright well if bulldog said it then it must be true good argument my dude
Based on stats, objectively he's the worst hero in the game. Even in the 5k+ bracket but i guess those guys don't count because they need to 'git gud'. I didn't mention sing sing either because a lot of you don't consider him to be a pro player anymore but he also randomed arc warden last week and he couldn't do shit with him either. I guess the opinion of pro (or ex-pro) players don't matter either. What is your opinion based on then? Because however you slice it arc warden is a dumpster fire of a hero.
