It wasn't like my team was going to use the tomes.
As predicted people are selfish dickwads that buy the XP tome the second it's in stock regardless of who actually needs it. For example I was supporting with pudge, doing pretty well killing their offlane zeus, pulling etc. Fast forward a few minutes and I'm level 5, our offlane lich is lvl 7. A tome would give me 6, but the precise moment I open the shop the fucking lich buys it. So there was a pivotal fight where I couldn't use my ult.
Holy shit that Na'Vi/MVP game 2. What a roller coaster.

Wind Lace + Euls + BoT's give Kotl/Lich a max of 495 movement speed, 450/485 with Tranquils.
Also if you get a Euls, then get a Wind Lace, you'll get the movement speed from both.
EDIT: Just did a game with Ferarri Gandalf build - holy hell the pushing power for so little items while still being a heavy support.

I think thats too far for Lich. He was one of my first heroes, back when it was 30 second cd level 1, but just denied the xp all together.
They should just change it so that it doesn't fully deny the exp, just share it to anyone in range.
Once every two waves is stupid when his mana pool is tiny anyway.
Doesn't seem like that big of a deal tbh, since you could only deny the ranged creep of every second wave before anyway.

It was broken. It's still strong and probably broken.
As said before, it was every other wave before 6.87b. The only difference is that the number is different and may differ slightly if used at the wrong time.

Did you misread what I said? The change didn't stop you from sacrificing any ranged creeps that you could before.
I know its super trivial, but I really wish they'd rework it to give XP to anyone in range like it has before, rather than just flat nerfing it.
It would mean at worst you deny 1/3 of the ranged creep xp, but if you take the risk and leave your carry for a moment to sacrifice the range creep, you get all the XP (assuming the offlane doesn't follow you), but again, leaves your carry vulnerable.
It'd mean there'd be a line between smart and dumb lich players too.
Idk it just annoys me that icefraud did the lazy thing rather than the interesting thing.
