I once saw a Carry IO on the enemy team in one of my matches. How does that work? Is Arc Warden viable? How do you play him now?

from what I've gathered arc is the most broken hero in the game or something. But that's only if you trust d2g, and you shouldn't, since they also tend to think Tinker is the most useless hero in the game I've yet to try arc mid, apparently it beats most other mids. The build is aquila, midas, blink, jumping on people and nuking them. Then you get a dagon too

I'm not sure that Arc is broken, but Spark Wraith is bothersome with that 4 sec cooldown and 2000 cast range. Another somewhat irritating thing is that he can effectively get free mangoes, salves, clarities, branches, faerie fires, tangos and dust on the clone.
the real trick to carry io is building dagon first, and teleporting around to make sure you always get last hits on the enemy heroes

So I've already paid money for a compendium. Then I paid more money for the battlepass. I've played enough to level it up to level 106. Now if I even want just the opportunity to get the LC item by playing the quest line, I'd have to pay $60 dollars more to level up to 225. Fuck you, Valve. You've turned into even bigger cunts than I thought. It's literally a nearly $100 investment just to ATTEMPT to unlock the item.
It's a free game though You're literally getting only cosmetics by paying for the stuff VALVe is a greedy company, but they're not forcing you to pay to be able to enjoy the game unlike many other F2P games do.

He has a point though, some of the stuff is so stupidly high level. I'll never see the red lightning maelstrom effects.

Finding it funny that OD has remained viable (though underpicked) despite the nerf, yet he's still receiving creeping buffs that might actually tip him back into broken territory if they aren't careful.

I didnt like expiring stuff earlier too but now I get what valve is aiming for It's a seasonal terrain for a reason. I wouldn't let people play on a snow map in summer either. That shit is sacred. and I don't believe that "oh it's because valve wants more money from u each year :/\) look at gabe's big nose" stuff
