In CS:GO like dota 2 there is a ranked mode where each team has 5 players.
Its basically a 30 round deathmatch game*, where the first team to win 16 rounds wins the match.
There is a money aspect to it seeing how you only start with a pistol each match, and have to buy a different weapon (or other equipment). You keep your weapon if you didn't die in a given round.
You gain money by killing an enemy (weaker weapons tend to give a higher amount) and some money each round.
The thing is unlike in dota where it could be impossible to fight your enemy if your team mates are just constantly feeding, because your enemy out levels you massively.
In CS:GO you can still kill enemies with an inferiror weapon if you are good enough, also you don't loose money if you die so if you buy a cheaper weapon and get kills you can save up money for a later round.

Even if you kill all the terrorists on hostage rescue if the bomb was planted and not diffused you could still lose. 1 side loses if the time runs out, it is terrorist in diffusal, and counterterrorist in hostage rescue.

Pretty sure he still needs it.
You can get better mobility with Force Staff and Blink that costs 4.5k than Aghs for 4.2k.

could this be a bug with Time Dilation and spells that have 2 parts (the begins sing and end song spellls)?
from what ive seen, while blink and force staff give you more mobility to move around the map/position into teamfights, enchant just lets you blink around constantly throughout a fight while throwing out a stun+huge damage boost. but I dont think you should substitute a scepter for blink, you should just get both anyways.
Get both. Blink in and do your thing and then slam somewhere else.

Aghs seems nice to skip a Blink Dagger on until you realize there is actual delay in ES moving in the air which allows players to avoid your initiations and then punish you for messing up.
Blink is literally instant and will allow you to be reliable at your disables, something Earthshaker needs for his security in his relevance.
I just lost a totally winnable match, sometimes it amazes how little farm carries can get while having a shitload of space.

Do you think it'll be a straight linear upgrade that's just a better Aether Lens or would you guess it'll be another combo item like Hurricane Pike or Bloodthorne?
I want an item built out of Aether Lens, Mystic Staff, Perserverance, and a 500 gold recipe (that's 7150 gold) that gives you 15% spell damage, 40 int, and don't change any of the other stats.
Mid-game items I think could see an upgrade or combo item being added for:
Glimmer Cape
Rod of Atos
Aether Lens
Phase Boots
alternate build path for Hood of Defiance
Sange (something new since it was removed from Silver Edge.I still anticipate it replacing the ogre club in Echo Sabre)
Drums, urn, armlet, and MoM I don't think will ever upgrade since they all have kind of specific timing risk/reward roles or are just already super safe items to build in the early game

a long long time ago when I first started playing i thought it would be neat if Veil and Assault Cuirass could be combined to add the magic resist debuff to the passive aura
it felt like a silly idea at the time but now it actually seems possible
I don't know who would build it besides Elder Titan or Undying though.

Bristleback, Tiny, Lifestealer, any bulky melee carry in a fight long enough for their teammates to get spells off.

I was putting too much thought into "who does both physical and magical damage" or "who is played around damage boost auras" instead of just "who stays alive"
this seems even better now
Especially for tiny, who theoretically could use both of the separate pieces well

I like to imagine it goes with Rod of Atos to severely amplify spell damage against the target from the user
I also like to imagine an atos + amulent of evasion item that causes a move/attack stop similar to echo sabre

I dunno how that would be imbalanced, by the time you buy that, the carry would already have a bkb/manta/ diffusal
