I just learned that the audio strap was out. Thanks guy from battlezone vr. Now I can stop having cranial squish.
I just learned that the audio strap was out. Thanks guy from battlezone vr. Now I can stop having cranial squish.
tbh I would wait a few months and see if they fix that strap shedding issue.
tbh I would wait a few months and see if they fix that strap shedding issue.
wasn't that just the surface of the foam though? I read a few of the guys that originally posted that issue said after a rinse & rub of the foam it stops shedding or some shit I mean probably still not a bad idea to wait just in case but I don't think it's as bad as it first sounded
tbh I would wait a few months and see if they fix that strap shedding issue.
The facemasks that come with the vive literally had the same issue, it's just on the surface, wash the foam in the sink and the problem is solved. I don't understand why everyone is losing their shit over it.

It wasn't as pronounced as the new strap, it didn't rub off in chunks, but for me it would rub off in black dust and leave black marks on my face. Washed them once and the issue went away and had the same thing of eeling a little less soft.
So how long until people start inking the face pads to annoy the shit out of their friends and family

It may be a little while before you see the end results, since mixed reality requires developers to take several steps including updating their apps and setting up an extra Touch controller as a trackable VR Object before recording the footage, but we're excited about the future. Oculus Store: We've started supporting 360º-only apps, games, and experiences. We'll tell you which apps and games require a 360º tracking configuration, and we'll also alert you if you're about to purchase this content and we aren't sure you have 360º tracking configured. Also, we've added full-screen screenshots for apps.
Ye olde western update Just as Ian is in the middle of a series in the creation/evolution of lever actions. I'm fucking hyped

oh holy fuck I hope you can reload that 1887 by spinning it I've always wanted to imitate the Marathon shotguns (@30s)
Oculus summer sale is up
Hm, Eagle Flight and Robinson The Journey are still quite expensive at 27 euros. And I don't know if Damaged Core is still fun as a shooter without Touch controls. Plus my backlog is huge already :v:
can you stop vr games auto launching the oculus app? everspace does it when i launch the standard monitor mode, fuck off i didnt select vr mode
HHH has added the turn-teleportation system similar to what Robo Recall has, so it's now playable on front-facing Oculus setups as well. Works pretty well.
I've done a handful of VR demos at this point and HHH is always a huge winner. It's such a good program. I wish the collision on reloading was a bit more forgiving but it's still pretty decent
HHH seems like it'll be an overrated sandbox until the dev releases it, then it'll become an underrated sandbox watching it grow is nice, but I can't wait until the final product. The ultimatum end-all cream of the crop of shooting gallery games, with nothing nearly as remarkable as it is.
Can't wait for the 4th of July update to come out! Always fun to pick it up and just shoot some stuff for a while. Also pretty excited to see more of my weapon models in H3VR. (Shameless self plug)
When I brought my Vive to work, H3VR was all anyone wanted to play, with a bit of GORN on the side
I always assumed H3 was just a gun range/sandbox game where not much happened except adding foregrips to an AR. Judging by the posts, I'm guessing it's more than that? The trailers/videos never really appealed to me.

Neat article in Dutch news: http://nos.nl/artikel/2178795-politie-gebruikt-virtual-reality-na-moord-of-schietpartij.html The Dutch police record crime scenes with 360 photos and laser scanning, and the use VR to review the scene.

[hd]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8IvURkvjWsY[/hd] oh my god
Oh hai, a VR thread. So because i cannot afford 700 on the Oculus or 900 on the Vive i have chosen to go for the PSVR which isn't half that bad compared to the Oculus. (€330 for the headset, 2 Move controllers and PS Camera) Soonish i will be in the VR world as well  Does anyone here have the PSVR and have they used it on their PC through Trinus emulation? I want to know how well it works because it would be fucking incredible if i could use it on my PS4 Pro and PC as well
You can only use it with the PS4
You can only use it with the PS4

Trinus
That said, no roomscale so I can't imagine it being much use. [editline]a[/editline] Oh nevermind, you can external software your way to roomscale it seems.
You can only use it with the PS4
Nah you can use it on PC [editline]19th June 2017[/editline]
That said, no roomscale so I can't imagine it being much use. [editline]a[/editline] Oh nevermind, you can external software your way to roomscale it seems.
Yeah roomscale can be somewhat emulated, tho i'm not going to get that. I want it to use it on PC because i could play PC VR games, thats kinda the reason. Not all VR games on PC use roomscale
Tried out Gorn with the new update. Throwing knives are awkward to use and I still hate the spear. But it's looking a lot better and the pulling people's hearts out is fun.
Sure wish I could try the lastest versioon but I'll have to wait till early access hits.
