Here's where I'm seeing it, not sure if they have the bundle in the store but I think you could order it to there or suggest that they should pricematch themselves. Cancelled my order with oculus and ordered from amazon uk, coming thursday, woo!
I was at Best Buy yesterday and it was still $500 with only Lucky's Tale.
Best buy sells everything way the hell higher than they should be like 10$ sd cards cost like an arm and a human soul at BB its asdfghjkl;'
-snip fixed it by not having the sound device as USB audio-
Did Amazon run out of Rifts again already? My delivery estimate got pushed back to the 10th even though I ordered 3 days before the cutoff date(July 15) where they said they would ship the rifts between July 24th and August 7th.
You're not exactly a customer if you're not paying. They're just prioritizing people who give them money.
Totally unrelated to the post I am quoting buuuut, earlier in this thread you mentioned that the vrlenslab design is garbage. What exactly is wrong with it? My left eye is really bad and the site you linked said they couldn't do my prescription but vrlenslab said they could (though it would be $150)
https://www.reddit.com/r/oculus/comments/6r0xkw/oculus_rift_touch_bundle_37400_399_25_wmasterpass/ Supposedly you can get a 25$ discount ontop of the 400$ rift+touch sale price from newegg using a promo code. [editline]1st August 2017[/editline]
Totally unrelated to the post I am quoting buuuut, earlier in this thread you mentioned that the vrlenslab design is garbage. Loose, I've heard. Worth a try if nobody else sells for you.
I gave up on Amazon and just ordered from Newegg. Hopefully I have better luck with them. But knowing my luck lately, it'll turn out Amazon was actually going to ship mine tomorrow and Newegg will push me back to September :v:

Finally got a notification that my replacement is coming EOD Friday.
Highest seller of Wearable Tech Virtual Reality Gear, not for overall products.
It's #3 in all of UK videogaming.
After some six hours of playing about in my oculus I slept for a good 9 or so. I guess it's like waving your arms about at a long concert level of tired. I hope we're going to see decent vr games take off after this sale.

ARRRGH I'VE BEEN WAITING SINCE 9AM AND ITS NOW NEARLY 4PM WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU!? I just want to play games! :frown:

I was literally at home doing some gardening, I have a view over all the cars that enters and leaves our neighborhood. This has happened about 5 times with UPS.
Customer was not available when UPS attempted delivery. Will deliver to a nearby UPS Access Pointâ„¢ for customer pick up.
Luckily a shopkeeper close by set up his shop as an access point so I just went and fetched it. Finally got my VR space set up again with more space than ever. [t]http://i.imgur.com/SVQreUZ.png[/t] Also with a great new super-soft carpet. [t]http://i.imgur.com/1o76Iw1.jpg[/t] Once I get my Rift set up I'm diving into Lone Echo.
Wow the games are fucking insane, I bought Lone Echo. It's just eerie how good some of the models look. It just feels strange, especially looking at your hands and you see really detailed robot arms.
Was at a friends place, and we set up the Oculus Rift in their large "garage", which is more like a barracks tent of some sort. The setup was basically as big as the 2 sensors would allow, and so we had a lot of fun playing Gorn and H3VR. Here's a very superfluously "I have a drone"-style video showing it :v: [vid]http://puu.sh/x0XzE.webm[/vid] professional zoom animations 👌
All I can say is wow. I prefer the Rift massively over the Vive when I had it. The touch controllers are amazing, the screen seems a lot better and the headset feels nice and comfy on your face. The sensors are a bit of a ball ache but that's just because I've not had time to set them up properly yet, will get it done when I'm next off work. I spent a good 4 hours fucking about in Onward with a friend and it is already one of my favourite gaming memories. We then went on to play Drunkn Bar Fight and spent the best part of an hour just beating the shit out of people. :v: It was only after that that I started to get nauseous, quite proud of how long I lasted! Can't wait to get my gf to try some stuff tomorrow night. I still want to properly try out a Vive, cause I really haven't. Just done a quick test in a store.
VTOL VR has been released! It's everything that I hoped it would be. Having a fully "touchable" cockpit for you to interact with is amazing. The game hits a perfect sweet spot of realism and arcade with how its physics and systems work. Everything is realistic enough to be interesting (flares, RWR, TGP style aiming of guided A-G weapons), while still being simple enough to be fast paced and accessible. It even has crazy things like carrier catapult, traps, and air to air refueling. The virtual joystick is designed around a Vive wand, so the pivot feels a bit awkward with a Touch controller, but that's really my only complaint. Content-wise there's not much there, but that's to be expected of an early access game. What I'm most interested in is the mechanics of how this all works, and it's fantastic.
Just tried out VR for the first time in a VR cafe near where I live and all I can say is whoa. I spent more time just gawking at shit than I did playing games. Mostly played some of the Testroom stuff and a little bit of Job Simulator. VR's fucking amazing.

Jeez, I finally committed to buying the deluxe audio strap and it makes a bigger difference than I thought. Honestly, I'm not sure I realized how uncomfortable the vive's original strap was until I tried this one. I've tried the PSVR and Rift before so I thought I knew what to expect, but this is nice.

I notice that my Vive likes to rest on the bridge of my nose, which gets uncomfortable until I slide it up a little.

Getting the Vive to sit in it's sweet spot for longer than thirty minutes used to me impossible for me, but now it's just a matter of cranking the fucker tight to my face and it never lets go. The nice headphones and added general comfort are just a bonus in comparison.

You don't understand it until you try it.
What's it like using your own headphones with the audio strap?
