You better watch out for magic school bus then.

I can garuntee that the van does more damage tho
Ramming attacks are hilarious
My group is falling to bits because of schedule changes. Lost two players, and if I change nights I might get one or two back, but will definitely lose another one. Bummer!
I might just make a smaller campaign where players can drop in and put at will without affecting things too much. Something focusing on shorter adventures rather than one large arc, you know? Assuming I don't lose the remaining players, at least.

The various missions of an overarching Adventuring Guild is a good way to do something like that.

I can assure you that this is not the case, and if you still disagree I'll just make you agree with magic.
And then cast mob mind on you and 200 other people and start a riot.
Mob mind is seriously unbalanced in any remotely crowded area.

How to ruin a military in 3 easy steps:
1. Get line of sight to a military base.
2. Cast mob mind at a large crowd
3. Order them to kill everyone else
playing a pathfinder game tonight. never played dnd b4 so this will be exciting
Well my third (or second since last week nothing happened) jojo rpg session just finished, I expected it to be a trainwreck, but it went surprisingly well. I also realised how much of a mess the version of d100 jojo we are using is.
I also played "Stand by me" before closing the session :v:

I had a game like that, was a modified D&D and well, some players left, new ones came, and it worked surprisingly well due to us being a guild

you could make him agree but you sure as fuck can't make the van agree
the van is an independent individual

god I gotta play shadowrun finally
Saved it! Pitched my "Future D&D" concept and the remaining members of my group are super excited about it! Heck, I am too. The folks who had to duck out want to play too, so I'll have to alternate days of the week to give everybody a chance to play. Gonna make this one a bit less serious, more focused on just having fun, planning heists, and blowing shit up as opposed to, like, long treks to find and humanely kill tortured spirits of ancient forests and whatnot. I envision a mix of Cowboy Bebop, Star Wars, and The Venture Bros -- competing organizations filled with super scientists and career criminals and cyborg commandos and rampaging monsters tearing shit up in space with blasters and lightsabers and all manner of wild happenings.
Our Beastmaster is now a Botmaster with a personal combat droid, our Druid can shift into the usual Earthly animals, plus a variety of beastly alien creatures once encountered. Our Rogue is the lady Spike Spiegel, our Paladin basically a Jedi... Gonna be a blast! Won't be able to have the whole group back together until classes end again most likely, but I can at least get chunks of the group together to run a quick adventure and don't have to bend over backwards to fill people in on shit they missed or come up with explanations for sudden character disappearances/reappearances. "She wanted nothing to do with this poorly conceived heist, so she took a solo job well outside of this sector." Easy peasy.

the jojo systems really don't seem to be that much good in the end, I'm glad I just modded the fallout pnp for mine because everyone seemed to enjoy that much more

[editline]6th February 2016[/editline]
alright so to do a short summary of our starwars game yesterday:
we carried on our mission to recover the location of a sith superweapon from the tomb of Darth Vindictus (huge edgelord)
after pretty much kicking back and watching the two poor sith acolytes chop through the huge military grade door for two hours, we manage to break the hinges off and get in. we find his lightsaber, robes, sick skull mask and our sith lord immediately steals the sith holocron in the tomb for himself. We end up digging out the files from an old republic terminal which shows footage of dead babies and all sorts of bad shit, so we found out the info on 'project demon', what one could only assume to be some kind of genocide robot.
after the sith lord does all of his shenanigans, where he learns from the holocron that Vindictus isn't dead and it was his -apprentices- body posing as him, we head back to the local alliance stronghold and sell them the info for a meagre 100,000 credits. issue is, he acted like a fuckin' dick and pretty much said 'yeah were definitely never hiring you again' so before we left this backwater shithole, i propose to our captain that we also sell the data to the local -imperial- branch (whom we'd killed many of just hours beforehand)
they are pretty interested in the data,so they give us 90,000 credits as well for it thanks to our captains pro haggling skills, and they even get rid of our fugitive status! Score!
well our captains rebel contact was very displeased, calling us 5 minutes later to say 'what the fuck is wrong with you guys did you just sell us out'. Apparently some narc in imperial intelligence ratted us out to him, so he had some of our stolen cargo we sold a few days beforehand confiscated and then got our criminal status reinstated.
and if that wasn't awful enough, we get a call from some slimy trandoshan that the non-sith knew to be a shleemo fuckin' bountyhunter who we've run into a few times before, telling us that theres a fucking 10 megacredit (10 million credits) bounty on our head galactically, preferably dead. Apparently -EVERYONE- is in on it, mandalorians included.
so currently we're fleeing to Ziost to take refuge in ancient sith temples because no one knows we have sith onboard, and are starting to plot our revenge. i also slit my hand open and locked the sith lord into a blood debt with me (the wookie space pirate/noble) to not go around our backs anymore with some bullshit
current goals:
steal a star destroyer
do not get killed by every bounty hunter ever
try not to get involved with ancient sith genocide weapons
Our DM is gonna start up our 3.0 game tonight. We're playing 3.0 because he has pretty much every book for it he could need, and had played a lot of it when it first came out. I still think we could manage with 3.5, but i'm not the DM.

Yeah there's just one little problem. You still have control of your cars and drones. So now that I've mind controlled you, I'll just order you to tell your little van and your drones to ignore me. And optionally, to kill you instead.
Mind Control: 2
Everything else: 0
Trying to make a Naga in shadowrun(No, they're not that kind of naga you weeblords), hard to decide what priority to go for a mystic adept since their statline is so fucking weird(4 agi max, really?)

It's pretty hard to be agile when you don't have arms or legs.
My best advice would be to focus more on the mystic than the adept part, though. While Nagas have high strength and body, and natural armor, most GMs probably won't let you use weapons or armor, so you'll be entirely dependent on that natural armor and your bite attack. The bite attack is still pretty decent, with your heightened strength it will at least put you on the level of a max strength human with a strong melee weapon, and having venom on all your bite attacks is a nice bonus. But the lack of heavy armor is almost guaranteed to fuck you over if you're [del]wading[/del] slithering into melee too often, and the low agility maximum is also not great.
You have great drain attributes though. And being able to have the Guard power active on the entire team all the time with no downsides is pretty radical

you think im stupid enough to keep that shit on a network?

uhh
you still need to give the autopilot commands
otherwise it'll just sit in it's garage with it's autopilot doing nothing, lmao

Take SURGE as well, Shiva Arms, Metahuman features, boom, you are [i]that[/i] kind of naga. And also able to use things like guns, t-shirts and door handles.
[editline]6th February 2016[/editline]
Also don't forget to bite jars and let the melee dudes on the team smear that shit on their weapons, venom for free is probably the best thing about having a naga on the team.

Cool then I'll just tell you to turn off your car. :v:

Yeah, that's one of the main reasons I went mystic adept, there's pmuch only two ways I could see a naga survive in the modern world, either as a rigger or as a mage with magic hand bullshittery, any specific adept stuff and spells other than the hands that you'd recommend?

Well, since I doubt a giant snake could climb a rope, you might want to get levitate just in case you ever need to scale a wall.
And might want some kind of camouflage or stealth spell as well, since a giant snake slithering down the streets isn't exactly discreet. Invisibility would be the most obvious choice, but Physical Camouflage or Shapechanging into a dog or other common city animal could work as well.
I think that's about it for things specific to Nagas.
Doesn't shapechanging require you to be roughly the same size? Nagas are fuckhuge.
[QUOTE=Crimor;49686054]Doesn't shapechanging require you to be roughly the same size? Nagas are fuckhuge.[/QUOTE]
It requires that your Body is no more than 2 points higher or lower. Dogs have a Body of 4, so as long as you don't get a Body higher than 6 it should be fine.

A manservant/Juan/idoll drone would be a good idea if you've got the money actually, just keep it in your apartment/van or whatever in case you need hands while the rest of the team aren't around.
