First off, SPELLJAMMER?!
Second off, evil god, 221 hp? What the hell kind of game IS that?
well spelljammer in pathfinder, but yeah we're taking a ton of stuff from it
basically the game's called 'star mask lords', in which we're a party of ancient beings who have reawoken to find that our mythical star masks (unique masks of incredible power that basically made us deities of the galaxy back in our heyday) have been stolen and that sentient beings have progressed an absurd degree in technology and general competence
basically we're like the pillar men from jojos, except galactic demigods. the plan is for the game to encompass our re-domination of the mortals of this realm, probably gonna be some horrific extradimensional threats that will give us a run for our money, etc etc.

our gm says 'galactic scale for the time being, thats still a lot of planets. and that's just considering what you guys are doing on the -material plane-'
jesus fucking christ this game is off the rails
I'm thinking about being a lich
All shall tremble at the feet of Mr. Bones the Unending

oh btw the 221 hp is because im a time dragon donut steel
This is what happens when we don't let the GM use his creative juices
He just goes 'no restrictions, any races, anything but final destination!'

You playing some sort of Smash Bros Melee campaign?
You playing some sort of Smash Bros Melee campaign?
Super Smash Monsters: Galactic Takeover would be a fitting title
So a time dragon, a lich and an eldritch horror walk into a bar...
[editline]30th March 2016[/editline]
speaking of bad times, today in shadowrun were gonna witness the side effects of not only stealing the core fuselage of an Ares prototype helicarrier, but also annihilating Evo's 15 trillion dollar space elevator
Thank god no one would ever expect us to be alive after plummeting from the edge of space!
anyone got curse of strahd yet?
Worth running? Think it's any good?

I have it, haven't run it yet though. I do think it's one of the coolest adventures that have been released thus far; there's a nice poster map, the details on Borovia can be used to run a homebrew campaign there, the randomization aspect, although arguably gimmicky, is something I think is cool... Plus all the neat little tips and tricks on how to run a gothic horror campaign AND the great rundown of Strahd (my personal favourite DnD villain) and how to portray him properly is great.
Essentially, think of it as a HD remaster of the old Ravenloft adventure from the 80's. Basicly the same story, just polished and with addtional details and such.

Is it worth getting if you're not actually planning to run it? I do entirely homebrew so I don't really want to run a premade campaign but if it's got tips and tricks etc?

Strahd is a pretty cool villain, you might be able to draw some inspiration from him for your own villains. Don't know how well this new module portrays him but I haven't heard anything bad so far.

I would say yes, there is plenty of stuff in that book that you can use for your own campaigns, it's actually why I got it... I'm really bad at running pre-made modules, but I love reading them and I use them for inspiration.

Yes, yes, and yes.

Same as I6, so just fine. Not as powerful as he was in Domains of Dread, but if he was he wouldn't be beatable.
Nothing like attempting to undo a disaster of my own creation, but still throw the players a lifeline so they can get out of it without dying
only to watch them make a noose and hang themselves with it

To be fair, I think a lot of us only started fighting because there was fighting.

Special Modifications is FULL of really sweet stuff, like droid building and programming, weapon making, gadget making, lots of cool new attachments and career specializations. It's well worth picking up.

How can florida be real if the space elevators are not real
Batman and magical girls are classes in Pathfinder now, and there's now rules for collecting books.

Can DnD adventures like Curse of Strahd be integrated into any DnD game, or do you have to be running a dedicated game for it, with the players starting at a set level?

Of course you can. The intro stuff lets you easily add hooks to any game, and if all else fails, "Mist rises as you set camp, growing so dense you can barely see the hand in front of your face. A few moments later, however, it clears up again, though fails to entirely dissipate, and you find yourself in a strange forest along an unfamiliar road."
Other ones you just use plot hooks to get them interested. Of course, all the others assume an FR 5e game so you'd need to do some map changes and change a lot of references, but you can always integrate them.

It depends on the module. Some are intended to be played by characters at a certain level.
Good start to the first session of an Only War game: finding out nobody in the party has dodge
About to DM my first D&D game as a one-shot in thirty minutes. I've only ever DM'd once before and that was for a Dungeon Delvers one-shot. Wish me luck!
