That is technically a sub-par roll for that many dice. The average would be 14-15
Man
I always know I'm on the course for a good PF character when a realistic build goal is the ability to wrestle dragons to death
Brawler is too good
"Don't worry LiquidNazgul, I'll show up for sure at your game on roll20 on Saturday night! And if I can't, I'll let you know!"
That was three weeks ago. Not a peep. My group of The Strange RPG has been reduced to two.
:(

Finding people through the Roll20 groupfinder is pretty awful. The worst part is that the flakes don't even have the decency to tell you that they can't play anymore and just go completely silent, forever. Sometimes I wonder if that guy who played in two sessions, missed one because he said he had to travel over some mountains to his cousin's house and was never seen again survived his journey.

What are you playing that needs that many dice?

The worst worst part is that none of these players were found over roll20 groupfinder. They are all people I have known for years. This player in particular just kinda rolled out of the game with no given explanation whatsoever.

Shadowmen, probably.

Tried asking them what's going on?
And yeah it's Shadowrun, that was a damage resistance test for what is basically an APC
What are you playing that needs that many dice?
If it's a 1d6>5 system it's almost certainly Shadowrun, particularly if you're rolling a whole bag of dice for every check.
This picture is accurate for a reason

My DM wanted to put an end to our Paladin's insatiable lust and constant wanting to bang women. We were taking some fancy pants woman and her family guys to some temple we were also going to because they also had a cursed sword of cyric (long story). Turns out she was, in fact, an evil succubus by the name of red shroud. She wanted the paladin for her collection essentially. She went and poofed away because the paladin escaped her charm person, but she'll be back. hasn't cured the paladin of his sexual addiction though
Paladins make the best sluts because of high charisma coupled with immunity to disease.
Aperture's roll20 is fucking cursed and filled with restless ghosts that eat luck
First 5 dice I rolled in this session were 4 1's and a 2, followed by me getting crit and my mek getting hit in the cockpit by a double-AP attack on an enemy mek's first turn. And then getting crit while running for cover after I ejected and only being saved by the enemy rolling a 1 on the follow-up.
Leaving me currently trapped alone in enemy territory, with two meks chasing me, and with no weapons that could even put a dent in them
This is fine.

I also blew off Taco the Untouchable's head and made him eat all of his luck against a helicopter.

I'm just glad that nothing bad ever happens to me. [sp] Except that it does all the time. That Roll20 is haunted by like, all the ghosts. All of them. [/sp]
What are you playing that needs that many dice?
Shadowrun, it was a damage resist test for what's basically a street legal MRAP that's modified and not street legal anymore due to armour and guns.
I'm just glad Siberys is getting a taste of my abysmal dice luck. To this day I think I'm the only person in our group who rolled two 100s on a d100 in a row.
[editline]10th April 2016[/editline]
In a system where that's bad, obviously.
The dice in roll20 can be gracious at times, I once rolled three special successes in one encounter during a session of Call of Cthulhu. That was the night an alcoholic Japanese hobo soloed an eldritch horror, [sp]meanwhile pretty much everyone else was getting murdered by much weaker eldritch horrors with the exception of the one guy who was with me and another who wasn't there that night[/sp]
Today in my 5E campaign, I learned a very valuable lesson: don't try to grapple and blind a Medusa.

I did a map.
I have no idea if our current party would be concidered heroes or not. We're looking more and more like Suicide Squad every session.
Orc Barbarian who solves everything by punching it. Unofficial leader of the group because he's the largest. Almost killed me during a foodfight. Also almost killed me the moment we met.
Punched my accomplice in half. Punched his way out of a bottomless pit.
Elf Rogue, cleptomaniac, hoards money, hates goblins, worst rolls I've ever seen when it comes to stealth and acrobatics. Always rolls amazingly well when it comes to fighting though.
Only survivor of the original party.
Goblin Cleric (me) ,party spared my life in exchange for me travelling with them since they lacked a healer. I always have to pay for whatever/whoever the orc manages to break since he wasted all his money getting scammed in a clothing store.
I'm pretty sure the elf would kill me if the orc wasn't here.
Dwarf Ranger, THAT GUY. Mostly punching NPCs because why not and/or casting Silence on them.
Adventurers are never heroes
They're just lovable psychos tolerated because usually they're messing up people worse than themselves
Right now our party consists of:
Dwarven Barbarian/Bear Warrior, Claw user and poetry slammer
Human Binder, basically Edgy McEdge Jr, on the quest only because he got to cut off his dad's arm in exchange
Human(? I forget) Sorcerer/something else, Rather nice guy, do not be within ~60 ft of whatever he gets pissed at, it will stop existing momentarily
Strongheart Halfling Assassin, With no sarcasm I can honestly say there is no edge in this character at all beyond the usual sneaky stab stuff
Aasimar Bard/Virtuoso, I love to toot my own horn, it gives +4 to attack and damage rolls to my allies when I do it right (half of them I have had legitimate reasons to freak out over). Loves Urbanus
???(straight up forgot the race) Cleric, basically one of the Sisters of Battle. Finally someone I can speak draconic to
Adventurers are never heroes

And when there are heroes in the mix, they're almost always overshadowed by the psychos.

I learned this the hard way.

Can confirm, biggest sluts/manwhores too, second to bards.
Hey guys, just dropping in. I haven't been following the thread recently, but I wanted to promote this channel I came across a week or two ago. He's been going through simple steps towards teaching the basics of D&D and how to run it. His video quality has skyrocketed between the first few videos up to now, so I think he might get bigger if he continues what he's doing. Plus, he's a pleasure to listen to.
I'm gonna drop the first video, but you basically browse through his current collection.

My party is looking for a new fifth member for a new Pathfinder campaign. Send me a PM if your interested, or want some more information. It'll be a fairly run of the mill campaign; your PCs will be apart of a very newly formed adventurer's guild that takes contracts to explore ruins, solve crimes, kill goblins, whatever. The man who founded it is an old adventurer who's recently retired.
So yeah, if you wanna join, send me a message.
New players are welcome.
So, on Sunday our 3.5 party ended up arguing over prices of wheat barrels, how much bluff is good enough to get cheap potions from a store (by bluffing vendor into thinking that they are bad), putting some sort of Rock Dodrio thing to sleep and beating up on it for 20 rounds, with only criticals actually doing anything to it. T'was alright, I guess.
