That's the important question
Probably Sunday 2PM EST. but the date and time are flexible. First game will be in about three weeks or so. I need to finish the setting and not be taking finals.

So today me and another player started coming up with a plan to kill a man with a bag of screaming iron dicks when we next encounter him
Hey, instead of sending like 10 PMs out, just gunna post this here. Went with Destroyox for that Pathfinder position. Thanks all for your interest, and sorry I couldn't pick you all up for the game!
The last few nights have been good nights for Lamuel Jacobs, Lasombra antitribu in the midst of a four-way war between the vampiric sects of camarilla, sabbat, anarchs and one unidentified party In Atlanta, Georga. Just before shit hit the fan, I completed binding my first ghoul, a lawyer who I saw as disposable but a good first step. Two of the primogen he's blood bound to (all of them) died He has so far elluded the sherrif, who's ludicrusly powerful and hates Lamuel for his clan and for buying a African-american thin-blood in an auction, which offended the sheriff not because of the slavery, but because I was saving a black thin-blood's life. (The sheriff later hunted the thin blood while i wasn't looking. I'll miss jamal, Or Jam as he had come to be known in his last day.) His sire, the former prince, deablorized a tzimisce, advanced in generation and displays new power. He also seems more stable than he was when he got ousted. Lamuel is happy for him. The request for the sire to create a childe for Lameul's generation advancement was left unanswered. His two point enemy, a ventrue he upset by informing others of his preference for red headed homosexuals, tried to kill Lamuel in a friendly fire incident. Loyal coterie member and brujah lept to the defence and wrecked the guy for me, leaving him in the midst of a sabbat/Anarch blood bath. (He probably survived, because the game's just begining and reinforcements moved in soon after, but we got him down to crippled) The Klu Klux Klan (I shit you not, our storyteller is wonderful) who are the peons of the aforementioned sherif who wants to murder Lamuel, have been razing the city (the news reports Martial law, gang warfare and a military presence. It's really Just Klan members on a manhunt) have been chasing me. Lamuel killed a few, but got cocky and skewered one on a metal fence, writing a taunt on it. He got permission to sire, twice. We took shelter in a church. The priest who gave him weird looks for his unholy aura is now his first childe, and he's so far been very competent. He hated me. My Coterie were questioning why I'd do such a terrible thing to a man of god. The malkavian coterie member who was bothering him got red-listed for contact with the unknown party in the war. His sire tried to save her. The remaining coterie see the sire of the malkavian warn her to run away, and a fight between him and thirty Klan members begin. We join in because, well, Klan members are fun fodder. A normal GM would go for zombies or militia or some shit. We get racists in funny robes. The toreador who didn't join in? I burrowed his gun and shot a few corpses. The investigative magic that vampires pull will say he was in on it. Also He told us that she was Red Listed AFTER we went in (according to altered story I presented to him.) and we saved some malkavians. Went to Lameul's place after three nights of warfare. Found the Lawyer-ghoul crucified. Cut onto his chest were the words 'one for one'. He was still alive. This was the most fantastic thing to happen to Lamuel. -The lawyer ghoul was of limited use. Lamuel would have had to do a lot of work to make him useful. He was going to be a driver and housekeeper at most, since getting his job back would have required investment. -The priest, On seeing the atrocity, affirmed his place in the world. He'd help everyone and battle monsters who'd do this kind of thing and on the whole... it increased his loyalty to Mr Jacobs (who hasn't had the time to blood bind, and doesn't want a suicide case) . I mean, If I'd known I'd get this result, I would have had the crucifixion ordered myself. - The ghoul survived -Humourously, As I'd wrote a taunt on one Klan member,so to was a taunt written on my ghoul. It said 'One for one'... ...Which is hilarious, because the ghoul still lives, and he's really only killed my thin blood. I, on the otherhand, When put with the brujah who follows me and the two I got the priest to kill in his first frenzy, have a body count of a little under 40 Klansmen.
when you're surrounded by skeletons and you have arrows that ignore 20 DR, a spell that fires arrows from the last enemy you killed, and a tiger [t]http://i.imgur.com/aGcZIHY.jpg[/t]

Because if so I NEED that. (Also totally going to start representing monsters with starbursts that is genius)
do the candies represent skeletons
We use candy to represent enemies and we get to take them when we kill them I killed so much that I started giving it out to my party
so today I remembered that bows in Shadowrun 4 can do more damage than assault cannons if you're properly strength-specced, with the only downside being less AP and no access to anti-tank rounds, in exchange for being miles cheaper, smaller, and not illegal I am now seriously torn if I want to change the 4 points I have in heavy weapons into archery solely for this purpose although I'm pretty sure the GM is going to string me upside down by my ankles if I get anything that heavy in either case, but goddamn the optimizer in me is shit at resisting temptation

Main advantage of bows is that they're silent really.
Speaking of stories, we had a bit of a silly thing happen a few weeks back. Playing 5e, our sorcerer rolled a wild magic surge and got a 2, meaning he has to roll on the table for the next minute (10 rounds). So, first thing he does is rolls vulnerability to piercing damage for the next minute for everyone in 30 feet. A turn passes, we kill a few kobolds pretty easily, then it is time to roll again. He ends up with some roll that doesn't do much IIRC. Combat is still going on (bad rolls) by the next round, and this time he rolls, he rolls 37. 6 flumps appear surrounding our ranger. While they aren't too scary by themselves, in the stats our DM was using for flumps, their damage type is piercing damage... Which everyone is now vulnerable to. All but one flump hit, and roll for near max damage. Were it not for the fact that I remembered the disadvantage part of frightened at the last moment, our ranger would have been killed outright. By flumps. She only narrowly avoided it even with the disadvantage rolls. [editline]16th April 2016[/editline] And now our DM hates flumps because they let him down even when the stars had aligned.

Although you're gonna want a gyromount with an MG anyway to get as much RC as possible.

Also, just want to point out that Flumphs are sentient, lawful good creatures. They wouldn't just try to kill someone, unless that's something specific to that wild surge result beyond just "flumphs appear". Maybe shower them with their stink-juices and float away though. Possibly panic due to suddenly being teleported into a large skirmish. Secondly, it would be physically impossible for each of them to attack at the same time, because their attack (or at least the one that deals piercing damage) is to rise into the air and plummet onto someone. They have spikes underneath, that's what deals the piercing damage.
Uhh, he does know that normal people use MGs unmounted in real life, right?
Uhh, he does know that normal people use MGs unmounted in real life, right? She's played a ton before but hasn't GMed in years and this is her first game with real players who aren't all out of some /tg/ horror stories thread.
Ah yes, when the players are so frustrated by the probability of dice that they pour Starbursts out of a bag and count the good flavors as a success.
I'm a black belt in Taekwondo, I've been to several tournaments that were fought for money, I've sparred with people twice my weight. But never have I seen people fight as hard as they do when they disagree on what a "good" flavour of starburst is.

I mean it kinda makes sense if you're just holding down the trigger and spraying bullets everywhere with your machinegun, but a single shot probably shouldn't break your spine
Huh, I always thought that restriction was just on MMGs and HMGs
They really should just implement a strength requirement system, give penalties if your strength isn't that high and have things like pods and gyromounts reduce it. I mean it's slightly more complex, but it works infinitely better than a blanket thing like "all heavy weapons need 8 strength to use"
Huh, I always thought that restriction was just on MMGs and HMGs
I know that's how they did it in 5th, but in 4th I think it's just an optional rule that can apply to any heavy weapon
Does anyone know any ways to counter sorcerers spamming cantrips like mage hand? He almost constantly has it up to the point that it may as well be a pet and uses it to do almost everything in every roleplaying situation, its starting to annoy our DM as his character does very little and uses the hand to interact instead of himself. Two moments that particularly annoyed the DM was where he used it to do sleight of hand in a card game that was meant to be rigged yet he rolled absurdly high, and the other is attempting to "flirt" with other members and npcs by brushing their hair with it.

It's like a mage who's decided not to interact physically with the world and depends purely on magic.
So I ran a prelude for ElTacoLad, since he's joining my Demon game. His Cover's a mechanic, his mission is to install bio-mechanical hearts in every 4th car he repairs. A guy comes in one day with the front of his car totally smashed, and he's lucky #4. Leaves the car for a few hours, comes back right as Taco is finishing up repairs. He still hasn't put the heart in. The guy pays and takes his car before Taco can stop him. Taco follows him home, breaks into his garage, and starts installing the heart in the engine. Guy opens the door with a baseball bat, turns the lights on, asks what's going on, then threatens to call the cops. Taco decides he has to kill the guy, and Falls. After a short tussle, Taco manifests his Demonic Form's blade arm. Guy ducks under the first swing from it, then starts crying and begging him not to kill him. Taco wanted to offer him some sort of deal, but we couldn't figure out a mechanical way to ensure he wouldn't tell anybody about the fight, so he decides he has to kill him, and rolls his last attack roll of the fight.
"He raises his hands for a moment to pray, helplessly, before you swing your blade at him one last time, cutting him into pieces." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aM2l8TPzKmY Taco: you're tearing me apart lisa
:toot:/:evil:
