if I'm not wrong all weapon proficiency features come with 4 weapons
edit: also if those are the fonts and stuff from the phb and you want to sell that on the dmg, I'd be careful. Those are commercial fonts.
I used pretty similar ones in my baraani sourcebook which I can link you to if you'd like
I didn't realize they were commercial fonts. And I'll add another weapon to their proficiency.
edit: I downloaded new, commercial free font and replaced everything. I also added the net as their 4th proficient weapon.
I'll need to remove the image in the top right though, since I don't own it and I don't think I can use it for commercial use.

TBH a race of diminutive cat people about the size of gnomes/halflings could work. As a serious race? Probably not, but maybe as some kind of one off characters your players could discover in some abandoned cave/castle after an alchemist/wizard/etc was experimenting with endowing animals with full sentience.

It works for Monster Hunter, why not D&D?

[editline]20th January 2016[/editline]
In fact be prepared for the next fantasy game we play (to my crew), wordly kitten Knight is absolutely gonna be my next character
As a group who has been switching from campaign to campaign trying new stuff, one of our players consistently makes characters who are very fond of rats. In our main campaign he will eventually become a wererat of course after stumbling upon a clan of them that form a thieves guild.

I can't really add to the whole Cat girl discussion on the account of playing a Miqo'te on FFXIV.

Just add 40k (fan) version of catfolk.

I have a Hutt player in my EotE game, an overweight one at that.
Its a nightmare, he doesn't fit through doors, there is no point in stealth anywhere and he keeps trying to eat our informants. Its fun though.

I've been looking for a reason to play this swag motherfucker for a year or two now, I need to make this happen soon.
Kobolds still the best race. Who needs catgirls or birdmen when you have little dragon-people?
[sp]provided the DM takes pity on them and gives them a slight stat boost[/sp]
But the whole point of kobolds is raging against the better-statted races
My girlfriend plays a cat character like that, except hers is a hairless Sphinx cat. Small, chubby, wrinkled, fleshy. She is a Beastmaster Ranger who rides a vulture into battle, swooping down to knock about lighter foes, peppering heavy fellas with javelins, and occasionally using her resistance to fall damage trait to jump off her mount, performing high altitude swan dive attacks directly on the backs of big baddies for uber damage. It's quite fun!

True. Fuck tallies.
is there any like online forums i can join to play with a party on 3.5, preferably with an emphasis/lean towards rp rather than full on combat
Well looks like the 3.0 start-up will have to be put on ice because its gonna be snowing a hecka lot for the next couple of days, and it won't be safe to go out driving to the meetup place. DM had to cancel yesterday's game as well because even light snow is dangerous out here in the south. Real bum-drum. On the other hand, I can look more into making characters and learning 3.0. DM only has the 3.0 handbooks i think, so i'm gonna have to take looks at the differences between 3.0 and 3.5

Realised dikote isn't in Shadowrun 5e, pretty lame, you're just not a street sam unless you've got both your katana and hand razors diamond coated.

Can you dikote your hands, even without razors?
Because that'd be pretty ballin'

Let's be real, though, if I were to play an animal-based character in a fantasy game, they'd still totally be a mage.

Updated my homebrew race. Changed all the fonts, redid subraces, and added more information about their lifestyle and appearances. Just need to fluff out their subrace text and get some art I can use.
I swear no matter how I try every enemy I throw at my Shadowrun group always always fail critical dice rolls right when I need them not to
Threw literally the most combined-arms encounter at them, an enemy humvee with a rigger pilot, onboard decker, supported by a mage, a near full-borg, and a guy on a motorcycle, with the party's main combatant lured away elsewhere and aside from some damage to the van and the guy with 2 wounds from getting sniped last session going down they had basically no problems
It was awesome as fuck but still literally none of my npc's rolled well except for the one assault cannon shot that nearly scrapped their van
Don't tell them how many successes they need to, fudge them slightly if they fail too hard.
The biggest risk to our shadowrun group will always be ourselves and each other
Don't tell them how many successes they need to, fudge them slightly if they fail too hard.
We roll in the open cause were not plebeians
Yeah besides we end up hurting eachother and ourselves plenty, if enemies actually posed a risk wed have been wiped months ago.
Its more of a radio drama with shadowrunning thrown in lol
can we just have an entire campaign of a party tiny cutesy animalfolks ripping evil apart

On one hand I wanna be involved, but on the other I'm not sure if I'm ready to touch D&D/PF again.
