I'm curious. Does the PC version have more peds on the street than the console versions?
One of the negatives I've heard about this game is that there's just too little peds on the street when either driving or even just walking around.
I'm considering picking this up, but this is one of the points that's making me thinking about just waiting. Well, unless someone mods the game and increases the ped spawn.
So I unlocked mass hack and the electro device, but how come I can't use them? They're not in my Q menu at all.
Mass hack is [ 7 ] if it's not their try reloading see if that works.
Pro tip: bind mass comms hack to mouse wheel up and mass vehicle hack to mouse down, allows you to use them fast when you need to :v:
Those tiny single-seater electric cars you can find around the city are deceptively fast, jesus christ
I found my grampa's apartment next to Great Highway in game, even the gas station and coffee shop at the ends of the block are there lol.

Has anyone figured out how to get that research point by any chance? In the hacking view it looks like it's under the deck, but there are no holes or vents anywhere for the RC jumper

Hacking the government

Sometimes I feel like invading people just to fuck around with them, there was this one guy in a garage that kept trying to get into cars and I kept making them drive away, then he went for the door and I kept disabling that too

I was hiding in the bush right in front of him and somehow he didn't see me
That was so tense

Yeah I don't have it, despite unlocking it. May be a glitch because I unlocked it when I was at the cheesy [sp]party in the desert[/sp]
I'm confused as to when I can use abilities. I upgraded to APB: Wanted Criminal and can't use the ability on anyone. I'm in range and have enough botnet capacity to use it.
Ok, maybe I just needed to restart the game.

If you unlocked it while at the desert party, you prob didn't get it.
I'm getting so much flak for my Watch_Dogs 2 review on Steam simply because I said Far Cry 2 sucked and because I chose to mark "I received the product for free" button because it was a birthday gift.

Far Cry 2 did suck but as far as getting it for free goes, that can kinda change your perception of the game.
When I bought GTAIV, it ran like trash. Absolute garbage. I think I was getting 15-20 FPS at the best of times at the lowest settings. Not only that, but to this day I prefer San Andreas' driving and aiming and pretty much everything else to it. But you know what? I didn't care, because I bought it for $2.00 in a Steam sale and I was just happy it dropped to a price I could afford since I had no source of income at the time.
Then on the flipside, I preordered Modern Warfare 3 and the best part of that game was the free copy of CoD4 that came with it, and until recently, that was my biggest game regret. The only reason it changed is because I spent a total of around $150 on Fallout 4 by buying the Pip Boy edition and Season pass.
The higher the price of a game, the more you feel burned by it if it sucks. The lower the price, the less you see its flaws if they're there.

Not that I think it matters in this case because the overall general consensus is that the game's incredible.
Do you guys experience much fun-ruining via guns in multiplayer? I saw a Rock Paper Shotgun article that was grumpy about them (really, tonally to the game in general) being kind of a cop-out but I'm kinda doubtful. Haven't seen many complaints about just getting pegged in the head in PVP here when there's a lot of options.
I think it'd be more fun if it wasnt a game of dont get found and shot, it was a game of find the hacker and either beat them up or counter hack em.
Quick Tip : When in a vehicle Press and Hold [ Ctrl ] to follow traffic laws.
Alternatively : Going into the controls menu you can make this option toggle-able
- This is really useful should you find yourself in the need of blending in with the traffic.
Q: How Does it work?
A: Activating the traffic limiter not only limits your speed, but it also preemptively stops you when near traffic ( i.e Red Lights or Stop signs ) as per proper traffic laws.
edit
- Another add in..
Quick Tip : Pressing and holding [ Ctrl ] on foot makes you walk

Here's the deal, I did a LOT of PvP and was having a lot of fun until the meta started creeping in, and unfortunately just like the first game soon this will be all you see in PvP unless it gets the nerf hammer
YourBoySerge. Sniper rifle that disables vehicles in one hit AND kills the driver with a bodyshot.
You can end ANY chase in seconds by hacking someone's vehicle to a stop, get out of your car and shoot at the general direction of the driver. If your aim doesn't suck, they're dead, otherwise they're a sitting duck since if they try to get in another vehicle you can instantly wreck that, too.
Aside from that, time to kill is really short and most headshots are fatal but really that just means you need to come up with a plan instead of bum rushing. There's a lot of options to do damage without even putting yourself in the line of fire. In fact I get a lot of kills just by setting down traps and players who have a tendency to be far too aggressive and not observant enough just walk right into them.
I am really, really hoping ubisoft rebalances some of the worst offenders because they ruin what would otherwise be an excellent multiplayer that rewards being crafty rather than firing the first shot

Happy belated B-day. Mines today! :)
Far Cry 2 had its moments, but overall it wasn't nothing spectacular and I'll agree with anyone on that. The tacked on malaria, and the patrols that'd respawn 5 seconds after you left. Not to mention the diamonds and story was a bit.. Well, useless.
But there's one thing I will admit, the world was gorgeous. Not many games do the African areas, and they took a broad attempt at it, and it was actually pretty damn good for its time.
I figure once I save up enough, or something, I'll be able to buy Watch_Dogs 2. People seem to be fairly impressed with it moreso than Dishonored 2's optimization.

Happy birthday!
It's funny how there's a sidequest about stopping a swatter but then you can unlock an ability that lets you call SWAT on anyone v:v:v
Also hiding in bushes is OP, so far not a single person has managed to find me since I started doing it

You still show up clear as day in nethack, there's a lot of players that just don't really know how to deal with invasions
Horatio just commented on one of my ScoutX photos (big story spoiler) [sp]from the grave[/sp]

I kinda knew that would happen eventually. :v:
whoever decided that missions should have as few checkpoints as possible can go eat a massive dick
this shit takes all the fun out of trying to complete missions stealthily
you're always better off just fucking slaughtering everyone
i'm glad there isn't a karma meter or anything
i probably killed every single cop and FBI agent in the bay area during the FBI mission

Stealth is very frustrating in general. If someone sees you, everyone suddenly knows your exact location and rush towards you. The guy doesn't even have to trigger an alarm, use a radio or shoot his gun. The simple sight of you alerts everyone.
This bullshit is on par with the psychic cops of GTA V.
Thank fuck for APB and RC vehicles. Stealth would be impossible without those.
