Why won't they bring back Pictochat? That shit was the shit. I could live without it if they hadn't lobotomised Swapnote. God damn it Nintendo.
I would really just like to be able to open my 3ds and see that I have new notes from my friends again.
I already have a N3ds I just want something with GBA support and pictochat because why not.
You can get a DSLite for like $20
Guys, the new exploits are out
What's the risk of getting banned for this? [editline]17th August 2015[/editline] (Not that I care) [t]http://novaember.com/s/8f9453/TzF8Gp.png[/t]
not much homebrew out, although i guess thats to be expected considering it was previously only avaliable to people with old firmware. Now it's accessible and doesn't cost any money. [editline]17th August 2015[/editline] best custom 3ds theme:
i wish creating a theme didnt seem like such a clusterfuck but now i have no excuse to play SNES games i havent played or beaten (besides non-working roms atm, but thatll change with time hopefully), so hype

That's kinda surprising considering that Nintendo definitely doesn't seem like the kind of company that's comfortable with people modifying their systems/games. Not that I have anything against Homebrew or modding in general, but I'd figure that having that on your 3DS or Wii U could get you banned or some shit like that.
I think he's talking about being banned on Facepunch.
can anyone download from http://www.3dsthemes.com/ ? all the zips are 0kb for me
can anyone download from http://www.3dsthemes.com/ ? all the zips are 0kb for me
It's not just you, I can't get themes from there either.
Wait, homebrew is possible on the New 3DS now?
I'm actually concerned with whether my 3DS can get bricked for it, like if I turn on the wireless and Nintendo somehow finds out. I really want to have a custom theme but I'm scared.
i'm in the same boat, really want to try this but i'm worried about my system being bricked. anyone know how safe this is?
as always no one has reported their console being bricked but no guarantees
Before you jump into trying this out. Keep in mind there is VERY little apps so far.
Snip figured it out.
I get the whole Homebrew scene but I'd rather buy my games legit. The only Snes games I'm really interested in are Chrono Trigger and Earthbound anyway so I can't see roms even being a big pull for me.

Biggest draw for me is being able to play GBA games on the go without taking my micro or SP around too
Nintendo, give me Metroid: Zero Mission. Now. If I ever homebrew my 3DS, i'll probably be only for the SNES and GBA games that it's hard to get (or impossible, like Star Fox 2). Other than that, the 3DS has an excellent games to pick (like all Nintendo handhelds, except VB). Oh, played the Dragonball Z: Extreme Butoden Demo. It's actually quite fun, no crazy command input so it's more on how to use the character's abilities (and the Z-Assist if using them). Kinda wish the computer wasn't piss easy, even though 1 vs 3 is a challenge.
is there even a ground throw in that game? yeah instead of doing an input you have to do a sequence of moves to do a kamehameha wut
How's NES/SNES/GBA emulation on the 3DS and the New 3DS anyway?
is there even a ground throw in that game? yeah instead of doing an input you have to do a sequence of moves to do a kamehameha wut
You just gotta charge your Ki by pressing R and once you have enough you just press L + A for a regular Kamehameha. I imagine your trying to do the Super Kamehameha.
How's NES/SNES/GBA emulation on the 3DS and the New 3DS anyway?
looks like it's early. gba is slow and has no sound, nes has no sound
How's NES/SNES/GBA emulation on the 3DS and the New 3DS anyway?
SNES (tried smw, dkc, super metroid) works ok with crackled sound, GBA (tried smw) runs at like half speed and is unplayable at least for smw (might depend on game) [editline]17th August 2015[/editline] On a new 3ds btw
How's NES/SNES/GBA emulation on the 3DS and the New 3DS anyway?
Really a per game basis. Metroid fusion works a charm for me, as does the Kirby GBA games (full FPS with sound). Every other game however has been slow and mostly without sound. It's early days but with this massive surge in homebrew users it's going to advance quick. NES as far as I can tell is perfect, SNES is still early, graphical glitches and slow downs

"3DNES is an NES( Nintendo Entertainment System) emulator for Nintendo 3DS, developed by St4rk and gdkChan. The project is on an initial phase. It’s capable of emulating many games( with speed going from great to somewhat slow), and already supports some mappers. However, it doesn’t have support for sound yet."

I will finally be able to make 3DS themes, thank god. I'll be back from holidays on the 19th, I think I'll probably take requests. I've heard making themes is a bit complicated, but it can't be worse than the DS days.
I've been playing Chrono Trigger on the Snes emulator and it pretty much works perfectly, as well as Earthbound (though it has a little problem in battle, backgrounds a tad glitchy but it works fine)
Does anyone know how to change my firmware version in Tubehax? Like a retard I selected 3DS 9.9.0 NEW without reading the text at the bottom, now my system restarts when I launch YT. Should I go into Data Management and delete the YT data?
