Unfortunately the fact that it is (IIRC) bundle-exclusive means NoA has just as little confidence in it now as they did when they chose to bring over only the XL.
Even now they don't think it's worthwhile enough to sell separately. If this bundle doesn't sell huge numbers, we likely still aren't going to see a standalone n3DS.
I doubt we'll see many faceplates here either. Thank goodness Nintendo hasn't figured out how to region lock those yet, though i'm sure they're working on it.

That's why I'm so exited for this bundle. I wanted the small white n3ds and was PISSED when I didn't get released here.
So I can just import any faceplates I want with no issues. I hope they're not too expensive.
I really want those wooden ones. I guess I should get the Princess Peach and Nookling ones if I can afford em.
I know i'm pretty late in the news. but i hope a solo New 3DS comes out aside from the bundle. My 2011 day one 3ds is starting to age like a web. it takes 2 minutes to even boot now. By the looks for the animal crossing bundle price. I say that the average price will be around 175 to 150$

Too poor right now . I've disassembled my 3ds but I can't unscrew the second back layer so I'll have to pick up a #00 screwdriver

I could see a Yoshi's Island maker, Metroid Maker, F-Zero maker (heck, two of the F-Zero games technically had official level editors of varying support) or top-down Legend of Zelda maker, but I don't imagine a Kirby Maker would work that well, to be honest. A lot of the charm of Kirby games is the environments, but those aren't as clearcut or differentiated like they are in other Nintendo franchises nor is there really as much room for variation without completely changing the feel that Kirby has in any particular game style.

your issue sounds like the wi-fi card fell out of place, that happened to my spare one. it's a pretty simple fix, just be sure not to strip the screws

The 4th screw on the right was stripped so I had to cover the screwdriver head with a balloon

Oh yeah, I visited a retro gaming store here. Local place, had a buncha silly games people traded in, like Yoga and Dora the Explorer. I picked up Dragon Quest IX for the DS since the only DQ game I played was Dragon Warrior for the NES. Looks like I scored. Next time I go there I'm picking up Kirby's Dreamland for the original gameboy.

I remember everybody being confused over the gender since that Link was really androgynous and the director had a statement misinterpreted, but I don't recall anybody trying to claim that Link was trans.
You'd have to dig deep into Tumblr's crazytown for that, and you can find any insane claim you want in a place like that.

So Toon Link being omitted from Legend Mode is just because they want to shill up the completely unique Toei Link, right? they really need to look at other worlds that hasn't been explored in yet, maybe Oracles and Majora's Mask. they'll probably have to either create entirely new challenge maps for the new characters, or there's going to be something to make the WW characters comparatively as strong as the vanilla (+DLC) characters. or they can just have new 3rd tier challenges that involves specific combos to stretch hearts out.
So Twili Midna could probably be unlocked normally after a certain point, whilst Tingle would branch off his own story path, maybe just to reinforce Cia's story, assuming there's more villains like Veran, Twinrova with "neutral" characters like Nabooru and Ricky. i really don't see why they're adding Toon Link though, we already have 1 alternate timeline Link who's already fast PLUS overpowered in comparison to other characters, do we really need another Link hogging the spotlight? even the regular Link is one of the most balanced characters with an overpowered (at the time) weapon near the end that doesn't have usable ability slots...
