I bought New Leaf last week, and its pretty fun so far.
Although I have a couple of questions.
1. How do you differentiate between fruit trees and non-fruit trees?
2. Any way to kick out villagers?
Dream Team was a disappointment compared to SSS AND BIS.

Making a villager dislike you is not an effective way to get rid of them, at least as far as I know. If you're mean to the villager they may come up to you to say they're moving and when you say "Okay, see ya!" they're more likely to stay just to spite you. If there's a villager you don't want, just ignore them and check up on the ones that you want to keep to make sure none of them are moving out. The day will come that the unwanted villager will ping you to move out, and since you were neither mean nor nice to them, they'll just go ahead with the move when you say goodbye.

Alternatively, if that villager sees you and starts walking toward you to talk, just run away. That way there's no chance that they'll decide to stay even if you tell them to leave. (Although "ignoring your problems won't make them go away" often comes into effect and they might want to ask you for a favor instead. It's really up to your discretion on that front.)

I've been contemplating selling my o3DS (not an XL) to help fund an n3DS (the AC bundle because I don't like the XL models). What's it realistically worth? I got it refurbished, and the only real issues it has are the shoulders are slowly starting to not work.

My local used games store (not Gamestop) offered me $80 a couple of months ago for my old 3DSXL when I was thinking about upgrading to a new 3DSXL, and it was in fairly good condition.
Edit: Just checked and you'd get $30 [I]in store credit[/I] if you tried at Gamestop. So yeah, if you must sell a system, either do it directly to a person or a local games store.

This is what I was planning on, yeah. I'd rather see $65 for myself selling to someone rather than $30 ISC and then the store turns around and sell it for $80. I just need a good baseline so I'm not radically overcharging someone, but I also want to know if I'm going to get next to nothing out of it.
I just recently checked my email and saw that I got some Triforce Heroes codes. I was going to give the 2 I didn't use to some friends, but nobody I talked to really wanted them so I'll give them to the first two who PM me.
I'll send the codes in the morning when I get up and edit my post when they're both gone.
Edit: Since nobody has PM'd me I think I'm just gonna go give them away on youtube.
