Just steamrolled through the 3 demo areas with some random guys in Triforce Heroes. Holy shit that game is amazingly fun. I solved a lot of the puzzles right away, and it was surprisingly easy to convey what had to be done with the emoticons given to you. One guy took a small while to get "3 links need to push big block" but that was just about the only hangup.
Yeah same here. I had to show them I was pulling it and they caught on. And it's crazy how teamwork builds up very fast when health is shared. Not a word spoken and we solved all the puzzles and beaten all the bosses. There is also a blacklist so you can avoid trolls online with randoms so that's a good thing. Can't wait for the full game. This is awesome. I would mind playing with some of you guys from time to time once the game is out on the 23rd. This is an absolute blast.
I'm super pissed that you can't even play the demo with friends. I was all hyped up to try it out with my Steam buds but you literally can only play with randoms for the demo :c It's worse that they dont tell you this and then also say: Im sure the game's fun and im super psyched for the full game but i really don't feel like playing it with random strangers.
Give it a shot! It works way better then you'd imagine Also it leads to goofy shit sometimes- had a round where there were two little outcroppings with rupee's between them like this | RRR | Guy with the gust bellows was blowing rupees into the abyss trying to figure out how to get them when suddenly I had a idea- I'll stand on the other side of the rupees so he can blow them into me. Since rupee's are shared it's win win! I run over and give him a thumbs up and he gives me one in return before letting loose a blast. The rupees fell into the abyss I fell into the abyss Everything is in the abyss We live here now
[del]speaking of triforce funtimes here's a demo code for it that i got that nobody i know wants please post if you claim it so that people don't waste their time trying to redeem it[/del] it's over!!!
Decided to give away the rest of my zelda codes. If anyone wants one, just send me a PM, and i'll send one to ya.
Still have those two spare codes by the way if anyone is interested in getting the demo if they don't have it yet. Edited: Aaaaand now they've been all given out.
Just finished my first attempted session or Triforce. Boy is this the laggiest 3DS game I've ever played. I play MonHun, SMash, MK7, and KI:U all the time without problems, but this is just pausing every couple of seconds, anyone else having this kind of issue?

I'm also beginning to see why they region locked the game in the first place...
Finally got a less laggy group. Game felt pretty decent, with a group of people you know It would probably be fun. For the longest time, Our Green just constantly ran off the ledge, over, and over, and over, and over, and over. Shared health bar is the worst thing for rando's
Crossposting from the metal gear thread-
Fun Fact: We had some trouble covering MGS Snake Eater 3D in NP because the art of The Boss was deemed too risqué.
[t]https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CRkeNPeWwAAqmWb.png[/t]
Some guy joined my Triforce Heroes group and constantly threw us to our death so me and the other guy teamed up and kept juggling him until he left [sp]GOTY[/sp]
Both in the demo and the full game, holding their Hero Panel and pressing A or B will blacklist them. Then again, in the full version, people might avoid random and play with friends online.

Is there an EU schedule or something, because I'm not sure when the servers are going to be online for Triforce Heroes.
I decided to go back into New Leaf to catch stuff Turns out a lot of animals I needed to catch were available in September and August, and the others are November - February God dammit I don't want to time travel
how much smaller is the new 3ds screens compared to the new xl's? im considering selling my majoras mask xl to pick up the animal crossing one
how much smaller is the new 3ds screens compared to the new xl's? im considering selling my majoras mask xl to pick up the animal crossing one
I just did that last week. The screen is much smaller but I personally like having the smaller screen. Haven't had any issues playing Smash on it.
I just did that last week. The screen is much smaller but I personally like having the smaller screen. You want something more portable I'd say yes. If not you're better off with the XL. I downsized since I take my N3DS to work and just play Smash (the only game I own for the system) during my breaks.
I just gotta figure out how to sell this thing now heh
After a long wait I finally got enough money from my previous job to get a 3ds since my old one died, So, I am hyped to be getting a new nintendo 3ds xl instead. There are still so much games I really wanted to play for the 3ds since 2014 that I didn't get to play.
I've had my 3ds xl for awhile but i've never played it that much the only games i have are smash and pokemon diamond from my old silver original DS what games can you guys recommend? I enjoy rpgs but Im pretty much up for anything

Retail copies come with a 3ds kickstand: make sure you use it. Pokemon XY or ORAS are available if you like Pokemon games, Mario and Luigi: Dream Team is entertaining, but can get repetitive. Bowser's Inside Story I highly recommend though. TLoZ: A Link Between Worlds is a superb Zelda game. You could try Bravely Default, but I've heard mixed reviews on that. Monster Hunter 4 U is great, but might not be for everyone.
Don't forget that there are tons of demos for games up on the eShop, run through some of those that seem interesting, and see what you like.
As what can only be described as a miracle, the YouTube app updated. I assume it only patches the exploit and doesn't make it less shit.

Why the fuck does Sky Temple even exist. I've been d/ced 6 fucking times after reaching The Lady or another section. Okay, I've finally finished it. Turns out having a semi-decent team with no lag at all works wonders. I felt myself die a little inside each time I joined a team which lagged or just charged in and got beaten to a pulp. At least it can't get any worse... *stares at bonus challenges* ...right?
Here's my review of Chibi-Robo: Zip Lash. I haven't completed the game yet, but I am halfway through(50% completion on file) and I have to say that this game is one of the most dreary and tiring platforming games I've played in quite a long time. Many gimmicks in the game, such as Super-Chibi-Robo, have only been used once per world, and this game likes to blow the unique mechanics it has right after each world is unlocked, leaving you with awful level design and mechanics for the rest of the world. One of my main problems with Chibi-Robo: Zip Lash, is the core concept of the game: Using the Zip Lash. The tutorial section is the only section in the game which forces you to use Chibi Robo's regular lash, and I believe that the first world could have been more pronounced to give the player a softened blow while introducing mechanics later on in the world. The first stage after the tutorial gives you the usage of Zip Lash, and you'll be using this to solve most puzzles and platform with it. The difficulty in using the Zip Lash is minimal, as it gives you a guide to use for easier platforming. However, the difficulty and problems within the Zip Lash mechanic do not entirely lie within primarily using it the entire game. The Zip Lash has a wind up period of around a second and a half, which may not seem like a problem at first, but users will soon get tired of having to wait every single time there's an object out of reach with the regular lash. This, unfortunately, happens a lot with the game design, causing my play time in each level to skyrocket. The archaic and simple level design calls back to the older video games, where objects are often hidden out of camera view in awkward places until you charge the Zip Lash to monumentally extend your camera to see them. This game does not have a camera for you to scroll with, which means that every open area in this game must be scanned thoroughly by repeatedly charging the Zip Lash to see farther. Another issue that the level design carries is long and exhausting segments, like stage 1-5, in which you are carried rather slowly through a four to five minute stage in which three screw-ups sends you back to the beginning. Not once have I felt in the later worlds a sense of progression due to the longevity of the stages being expanded by empty hallways or ceiling holes full of destroy-able blocks that I must use the Zip Lash to get through. Some level design, especially near the end of stage 3-3, punishes the player dearly by sticking them between two areas in which they are unable to kill themselves unless they waste all of their consumable Jet-Packs. The level design's worst comes to mind when it starts to throw as many gimmicks at the player as possible. These gimmicks are blown only once, and won't show up until much, much later in the game, when the player has probably forgotten about them. Such gimmicks include: Super-Chibi-Robo, the skateboard, the wakeboard, the balloon-loft, Ice-Chibi-Robo, and enemies that you can't attack from one side. The idea of these mechanics is to introduce something interesting for the player to use in stages, but the impression that it had left on me was that the game was trying to detract from the fact that it had already overstayed it's welcome by the first world. A bit of a personal opinion, but I also think that the usage of 'blocks' for level design is unpleasing to the eyes. There have been numerous times where the scenery had changed completely, but due to the style of the platforms/walls, I always felt like it was the same, each and every single time. After completing a level and hitting a corresponding UFO(Gold, Silver, Bronze,) you're taken back to the base to spin a wheel to advance a certain amount of spaces to another level. As soon as I saw this mechanic come into play, I immediately recoiled in disgust, knowing that if I missed the spinner, I would either have no retries or a few retries to land on what stage I want to go to next(which usually was the next stage, like a normal human being.) You can buy panels from the in-game store using coins for 150 coins each, which heighten the chance of getting what panel you want. With how cheap panels are and how many coins you stockpile quickly, I believe that this panel mechanic and the spinner are almost absolutely useless, and only serve as a detriment to the experience. Until a world is complete, you are not allowed to go back to any stage you completed unless you roll back onto it again, in which you are forced to complete it once again. This makes 100%-ing the game thoroughly an absolute bitch, which crunches the completionist in me. Since I had the amiibo for this game on purchase, I could not believe what benefits that comes with this game upon usage of the amiibo. Using the purchased figure on your game allows the usage of a figurine slot machine, which drops models from the game for your personal viewing. However, what is the main impact of the amiibo is allowing the player to become Super-Chibi-Robo at any time in the game. Super-Chibi-Robo sports increased stats all around the board, and(I believe) is incapable of being hurt. I don't think that producers should give advantages to the player just for purchasing a product of theirs, let alone lock massive extra stages away. Due to the game usually coming with an amiibo, letting this pass is easy, but I do fear for any digital buyers of the game. Unfortunately, I haven't found anything relatively good with the game besides the usage of the plug to platform. It breaks my heart to see Chibi-Robo become something like this after years of boiling down in a pot like stiff spaghetti sticks. I would recommend this game to anyone who's a fan of 100%-ing the Mario series, as you'll find the same mechanics in play here. I rate this game.. 2/5. It's approaching levels that would satisfy the average consumer, but it falls flat on it's welcome mat too quickly.
robo deserves so much better
