I don't know if anyone else felt this way but I got some dkcr vibes from zip lash. Prolly just the 2.5d thing messing with me, though.
What's the best Mii Plaza to buy? I want to get those cool outfits, text bubbles.
What's the best Mii Plaza to buy? I want to get those cool outfits, text bubbles.
I'm a fan of the shmup game, myself. Mii Force I think it's called? There's quite a few levels and bosses, and the different Mii colors all correspond to different weapons

It's got a recruitment factor a little like Streetpass Quest (Find Mii), but the rate you earn tickets is pretty steady.
You can buy Mii Plazas now? Wow I really haven't touched my 3DS in awhile.
I'm loving these and they seem to enjoy making them just as much. [t]https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CSRL3hDWUAAz4gt.jpg:large[/t]
mouri what are you doing dude
I am so fucking tired of the Coliseum in Tri Force Heroes. It's a fun concept, but there is no penalty for disconnecting or lag switching. Meaning, the second you're about to win, some fuck head leaves, or causes a connection issue. I have not gotten a single one of the exclusive materials locked behind the game mode and I've played 20 matches, of which every time I'm about to win I get disconnected or an asshole leaves. Sure, you can beat the entire game + Drabland Challenges to be given the exclusive materials, but at that point you've done everything there is to do in the game, so there's really no point in getting the costumes unless you want to play the same levels over and over again. If anyone wants to farm these materials, PM me. I just want to get this done and over with.
My bf just got Tri Force Heroes and I've been watching him play. I am in love with this game, it's just so adorable and feels great to play with a good group. He has not run into any questionable players either so it's been a blast. I'm lamenting the fact that I didn't bring my 3ds now ...
Does anyone know if Tri Force Heroes is canon?
Canon in Zelda games hasn't ever really meant much.
Does anyone know if Tri Force Heroes is canon?
It takes me place after a ALBW so yes.
Nintendo reports a 75 million dollar profit from the 6 months in 2015. Also Kimishima stated that Directs are still on the table, and there is one scheduled sometime before the year ends. https://twitter.com/mochi_wsj/status/659279491622043648 In 3DS news, the big winner was Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, selling 2.2 million copies of the game. Looking towards the future, Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam won't be released in the US until Q1 2016, the Mario Maker plate for the N3DS will be coming to Europe but not to the Americas, and the two Fire Emblem Fates games will be sold as a bundle in Europe but separately in the US.
[...] and the two Fire Emblem Fates games will be sold as a bundle in Europe but separately in the US.
I'd love to hear the reason why because there is no reason not to bundle it. Maybe some shops will make a special deal for both games. Not surprised tho.
Because no give us more money though
Between this and Yoshi's Woolly World and Mario and Luigi releasing later than they should I think NoA should get a bit of a wake up call and get their shit together.
Is FE:Fates better than Awakening in the sRPG department? I know compared to previous titles, Awakening was a bit easier and had less depth, but I still enjoyed it quite a bit.
I beat chibi robo ziplash, I have to say that final boss is quite amazing. They do a poor job initially explaining the more subtle nuances of the fight, but once you get the hang of it, it's quite the spectacle.
Triforce Heroes final boss is one of the best final bosses in the zelda series in my honest opinion, I had such a huge smile on my face the entire time from the fantastic music to the fun mechanics. What a great game.
I've been hearing all over that Triforce Heroes is a fantastic game, its now next on my list to pick up.
I was actually thinking of using Triforce Heroes as an opportunity to get a New 3DS, cause TFH Bundle Edition looks pretty sick. Then Nintendo had to tempt me more by giving me 33% off Monster Hunter 4 :( Is the upgrade to New 3DS really worth it? Are there any good games you guys would recommend? I haven't been playing my 3DS much lately but I might change that.
What was the last 3DS game you played? And honestly a New 3DS is NOT worth it. Only thing on it is Xenoblade and I think they abandoned that plan right out the gate.

The attractive thing about the New 3DS for me was the quicker load times and 60 FPS, although the 60 FPS only even goes for some games. Also that left thumbstick seems nice, I couldn't play Monster Hunter 4 without it.

And if you do get deep into the game, there's always the Circle Pad Pro, which works so much better than the c-nub anyways
Kinda hoping I find something nice soon. Last game I got was Kirby 3D and there really hasn't been anything interesting in the up and coming category, aside from maybe Legend of Legacy. Maybe amazon can help me out.
Why the hell is the binding of isaac only for new 3ds, this seems really dodgy. Ive always wanted this for the 3ds, im super disappointed.
They could not get it to run on the original 3DS, so they ported it to the New 3DS. It ain't dodgy, just how the engine works.

It strips away the exploration but in return every single room (nearly) offers a completely unique experience- ones that rarely ever overstay their welcome at that. Playing with Randoms isn't half bad most of the time either, though if you get it and ask the thread I'll be like "yeah sure" and join along. There's a absolute load of content in here too and levels have remixes to them and man it's just a really good game As long as you have a online connection- seriously, as much as I love it the singleplayer is a mostly tedious and frustrating experience due to having to juggle everything yourself. It's like a self imposed ultra-hard mode and it scares me that some people are good enough to do all the challenge stuff single player. I'm man enough to admit I'll never even try it. Monster Hunter 4 - It's Monster Hunter, the N3DS has higher textures and a better framerate but do not get it for the c-stick. That thing is so insanely stiff I promise you'll never use it. The lock on in game is waaaay better in every regard. BoxBoy and Puzzle and Dragons - Both are cheap puzzle games that I found to be a lot of fun, if you like puzzles would suggest peeking at both of them. Boxboy is a short eshop title from the same dudes who made Kirby and P+D is actually 2 games in one. It's the same basic gameplay as the cellphone stuff but without the pay to play part. Art design is hilariously bad and anime but it's still a good /game/ Animal Crossing HHD - Cute little zen game, it's something you spend about 20-30 minutes on at most then put down for awhile. It's super not for everyone but it's relaxing enough for someone like me that I feel like I should suggest it. Amiibo cards aren't required for anything important either despite what some people try to say (unless you cannot live without designing a house for Isabelle or something) Typing this up made me realize how sparse this year was. Jeez. [editline]29th October 2015[/editline]
Oh dear :s:. I'll try the demo, but I'm already leaning off the fence..
"Characters are as flat as a blade of grass having a total of 3 lines in the entire game in most cases, really forgettable music and a super confusing and concluded and unrewarding battle system with some really ugly graphics." are all the things I've heard about it. Take it for what you will but it certainly got me off the fence about it.
