New 3DS Megathread v6 - Games

I know all the attention is on the Direct right now, but I've painstakingly screenshotted every badge in my near-complete Japanese badge collection, for anyone who wants to see all the badges before they come to the western Badge Arcade: [url]http://imgur.com/a/wcl7W[/url] It would be kickin rad if they added Game Boy Pokemon sprite badges to coincide with the VC releases. I can't get enough of the sprite badges.

my first day was getting all the Mario Badges before i even used up all of the 5 free grabs. then i did the practice machine and got 1 good badge which gave 2 turns. next day i outright failed the practice machine and got no grabs. Pretty interesting as a series so far though, shame the microtransactions are forced slightly. i could've seen then do something like offer a few badges either for Participation. (as in time-duration of playing specific games. or maybe posting ending screens to Miiverse. could see Shovel Knight badges being from that kind of way) ohh, maybe games that has Achievements on some consoles would unlock badges on 3DS?

My friends and I are all really excited for the Pokemon VC releases. We're all gonna get different versions so we can finally complete the original Pokedex, 20 years after the original games came out!

I'm not sure why the original Pokemon games are getting re-released to be honest. Like this is coming from someone who loves pokemon and had Red as my upbringing. They're just a mess gameplay wise and ugly as hell. Super slow text crawls and glitches with things barely working and and argh it's nuts. It feels like if they were going to do anything with them they should of honestly been free [editline]13th November 2015[/editline] This is somehow going to get turned into Sift hates Pokemon but Red/Blue really are just hyper outdated and I can't imagine going through any of them again- especially after all the improvements and the fact Fire Red and Leaf Green and whatever are around.

The games felt back great in the day, when everyone was 6 or 7 playing them for the first time, but they just do not hold up. Even outside of that list of problems I posted earlier, they are just horribly unpolished games. Also those little logos for the house, apple, and bells. speaking of the animal crossing badges, they have disappeared now so I'm hoping that we get the app icon ones soon.

Man I hope the NX has as much HOME screen customization as the 3DS. Themes and badges are neato. Also I spent money to complete the whole Mario Maker sets. I like pixel badges too much :pudge:

Europe only got animal crossing, mario and NES underground mario sprites. I do not understand why you would release underground tiles before normal world 1-1 tiles.

I couldn't help but get hyped at this new Paper Jam trailer [video]https://youtu.be/c4GE6_MMjFI[/video] Like, paper bowser confirmed for talking, the mechanics in the world look interesting, and the old bosses given new life (King Bob-Omb, Petey Piranha, the motherfuckin [sp]KOOPALINGS?![/sp])? All that's looking real nice. Unfortunately, can't help but see the negatives- the card system looks uninteresting, the stats they had at Bowser's Castle looked pretty high (hinting that the story will be pretty straightforward "find the princess(es) and save them"), and in the end it probably will share the same problems as Dream Team did (in that I felt it dragged on in a lot of areas). Overall, I am gonna wait to see more before saying anything.

I don't surf this thread much so I'll just ask. Is there any word on the n3ds getting a bundle for the US besides the AC bundle? I really want a n3ds for the size and faceplates but I don't particularly care for AC. Is there a bundle in the near future worth waiting for?
