Odowla I don't care either way but they ruined Goht in my eyes. The fact you have to stop the chase to take off the mask and shoot arrows at a target that's not moving just sucks a LOT of the energy out of it.
Everyone talks about the twinmold fight and I have no idea why. I just kinda stepped to the left slightly and button mashed and took him down with literally no effort. I then found out there were boulders you could hurl at the guy to auto knock him down. I don't get it
Odolwa was a dissapointing fight the first time around thanks to the invincibility to almost everything. I will say he was more fun when I did my sequence break run and I fought him with Zora Link first time around, I got to finish the fight without taking the mask off. It was fun.
Goht is shit. You take a really fun boss concept and then ruin it by stopping the rolling and have to break out my bow just to do damage. How about this instead : When the eye pops out, Goht is still running, and you've got to aim yourself to hit the eye while you're still rolling.
Gyorg was alright. I died the first time I fought them since I couldn't figure out the gimmick to the fight after they break the pillar. The gimmick is alright I guess. Not that fun but not that bad.
Twinmold is all kinds of level of new bullshit. This fight just straight up sucks.

You should put that in spoiler tags for the people who doesn't want to know what's on the bottom.
[sp]So it's pretty much the Four Swords Links from the Extra Dungeon in A Link to the Past on the GBA, except more annoying[/sp]

This game can not arrive fast enough.
Have they ever said anything about CPP support for it?
Edit- Wait, why is Gannon shown in the last shot there, alongside all the transfer bonus characters?
Quite liked the remix and Linkle's fucking gangster drive-by stuff.

New weapon. He has a trident now.
What does that last image in those videos imply?
That the content is coming to the wiiu version, or that you can transfer them to wiiu if you have the 3ds version? Or perhaps it's neither?
It's the latter. If you get the 3DS version, the new content is transferrable to the WiiU one

This game seems really fun, but I'm worried the story will be bland.
I really don't want a Bowser end boss.
So theres no other way to get that content in the wiiu version other than buying the game again?
If so, thats complete bullshit.
It's really not
It really is? They are screwing over people not willing to buy an inferior version (barring the new content) of the same game again. They could have made it purchasable DLC, and have it be a free bonus for people that bought the game again. But it take it from your reaction that they didn't.
I guess you must be one of the people that are fine with Nintendo gating in-game content with a piece of plastic.
No and it's cool you're more than willing to randomly mention amiibos.
The big selling point for the 3DS version is "look at all this cool stuff that's in it" with a armful of weapons, a ton of new characters, a entirely new story added, new sub weapons, new gameplay overhauls like selecting multiple characters you can swap between and much, much more. They would literally be killing it before it even came out if they said "nah you don't gotta get it it's just DLC".
Like the new stuff is supposed to entice a purchase, and even if you have no intentions of playing the 3DS version too much it could still just be seen as a expansion pack due to how much content is promised.
i haven't seen anyone mention but they draw distance in the 3ds version looks really bad
i hope it's either WIP or fixable by playing it on the new 3ds

It's no like it needed to be a new game. There isn't that much new content. It could have easily been DLC and I'm still quite sure a portable version of Hyrule Warriors that is on a console that is owned by a lot more people than the WiiU with DLC included would have sold just fine.
There isn't enough new stuff to make it worth the price tag and making people who already own a game and potentially all the DLC that they released for that game, buy another copy of what is, for the most part, the same game is very poor practice as far as I'm concerned.

Nah it's probably gonna be pretty jank. Recent trailers still show the same pop in. Funny enough it's a thing in the wii-u version too, there's just more to the crowds so it's harder to notice.
I think it'll be fine even with it but with all the improvements they really could of tried to think of another alternative.

There is enough new content. You're super entitled if you think there isn't
-A new story mode with Linkle (dunno how long it'll be but still)
-A new story with the wind waker era
-New weapons for older characters (They showed ganondorf but have said there's more weapons on the way)
-Toon Link/Tetra/KoRL/Skull Kid/Linkle/???? (There's a slot on the character select for one more,if it's unused then still)
-New maps
-New variations of older maps that take place at different times of day
-New bosses/enemy types
-Battle overhauls, able to teleport, switch characters on the fly and make teams
-New Subweapons
-New Music
-More apparently (director has been saying we haven't seen everything they have in store yet)
Like holy hell it's almost a entirely different game. Nintendo probably feels (rightly so) that if they said "this is just gonna be another dlc pack" there'd be absolutely 0 reason to get the 3DS version unless it's literally the only way to play it. Doing it like this ensures that people won't just write it off (or that's the mindset) and will give it a fair shake, as I said before if it really makes it feel lighter then just think that you're buying a expansion pack and don't even try the 3DS one out. The content is well worth the price of admission.
[editline]3rd December 2015[/editline]
I fully admit if there was DLC and not the "get the 3DS version get it on both consoles" I wouldn't even bother with it but with how much content there is I really don't feel like I'm getting robbed or anything.
[editline]4th December 2015[/editline]
Apparently Terraria is coming to the 3DS on the 10th.
What the hell is with Nintendo and that date?
How about this: Since there is a lot of content, just make the 3DS content be both
A) Transferable to the Wii U for free like it is now, but also
B) $30 or so Expansion Pack on the Wii U eShop.
This way people can buy the handheld version for on the go gameplay while also getting the benefit of transferring it to their Wii U version, but also people who don't own a 3DS or have no intention of playing it handheld can still get the content for a cost.
If B) is an actual thing in the future, they will released it later.
Or an "Ultimate" version of HW with everything. Koei has done that many times with the Dynasty series.
I can only imagine if they put a pack up it would be 40 dollars just to be like "why not just get the 3DS?"
Hyrule Warriors is kind of fun but I have no desire to play that sort of game on handheld.
Is no one else literally going to Take the game right back to the store after getting the unlock characters? :v:

Also how is Triforce heroes if you have no friends that like zelda?

It's pretty much Hard-Mode with the Doppels. It's still enjoyable, but you will pull your hair in some parts by yourself.
The very fact that Doppels do not follow you like the other Links in 4-Swords is what makes it tedious. You have to totem them around all the time and makes stages 4x longer for the little reward it gives you.
I managed to beat the entirety of Tri Force Heroes plus challenges with all levels done using doppels only, aside from certain challenges that seemed impossible to do solo like a few of the timed ones.
It's not as bad as people make it out to be and in some levels its way easier because since the doppels are invincible when not being controlled (aside from falling off those seesaw panels, infuriating btw) there's less chances of getting hit and losing health, so boss fights (aside from the final boss) are much easier.
Does anyone know if Paper Jam Bros. has this abnormally long tutorial like Dream Team?
I love that Badge Arcade advertises SwapNote while saying that SwapNote doesn't work anymore.
Does anyone know if Paper Jam Bros. has this abnormally long tutorial like Dream Team?
It has no tutorials from what I hear minus a few very basic things.
Apparently when one pops up (or where one would be) a little message box pops up saying "if you can't figure it out there's a tutorial in the menu"
