New 3DS Megathread v6 - Games

sysUpdater straight up doesn't do shit. Loads the menu and then freezes, forcing me to power off and try again.

I haven't played Wario Land 2 in a long ass time- I forgot just how chunky the sound effects were. I need to play it again soon. E: Actually seeing a lot of shit I don't remember outside the intro and I'm wondering if I had just skipped to 3 and 4

jesus what the fuck is up with the lag in triforce heroes? its either disconnects halfway through a game every couple of games, and the ones that arent are lagging up like fucking crazy the entirety of the game and the framerates shitting the bed. in MHX i dont get any lag like this at all, despite (i assume) the servers being in japan, me being in the US and the friend i play with being in germany

That being said, if anybody wants to play Triforce heroes sometime, lemme know. friend and I are always looking for a third

Splatoon uses servers, not P2P. The game wouldn't be feasible at all over P2P.

You know, I have to ask. What the hell ever happened to Federation Force? I know that game is kinda of an iffy subject around here (from what I've seen), but seriously, what the hell happened to it? It just seems like after the game was revealed at E3 6+ months ago, it just suddenly fell off the face of the earth.

Same went for FExSMT (whatever that game is called). Federation Force is coming this year. We just won't hear about it before its release. I'll go with around E3 for news about it.

I bought a 3DS XL for my girlfriend recently and I was wondering what game best utilizes the clit-pad/XL features. All we have right now is Mariokart 7 and Animal crossing new leaf. Also, what do you guys think is the best turn-based strategy game?

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor is also good and goes on sale more often than Fire Emblem does.

Some of the Xcom guys worked on it and it usually very cheap.

So all this time, they cheated by showing us N3DS footage... Kind of a low-blow there, Koei. Hopefully, the new content gets added as DLC on Wii U or released in a Ultimate version, like they love to do. It might quell some that could end up flustered about it. It fucking sucks for most 3DS owners.

I'm willing to bet they planned on N3DS only, but realized they could get more sales if they tried to make it work on the regular 3DS as well. Unfortunately, doesn't seem like it worked out.

I don't think they needed to waste their time on a 3DS port of the game. They should have just made another DLC for the Wii U version with all the new content they put into the 3DS game or spent their time making a sequel. From what I heard the only reason a lot of people are buying it is just so they can port the characters over to the Wii U.
