Seems like monster spawn is randomized through a list depending on the area and the mission. There have also been times where I have gone through an area, and backtracked in the same mission, only to find that the enemies that had spawned last time were replaced by a different sheet thereof. As for "What drops what," I have a sort of generic solution for that. Try sticking with the fresh and new areas each time a selection of items becomes available at the smithy. The stronger recipes don't contain materials from earlier areas/monsters.
Don't forget to make generous use of the ingame Notebook. It keeps track of every last thing you've seen so far, and lists monster spawn locations, item drop spots, all that stuff
A thing about FEEX that I don't like is the massive HP bars of Eidolons, and that each of them usually has a move guaranteed to stunlock you in place to death ex: Amaterasu's prism beam, Shiva's ice beam laser, Ifrit's flame column, or the Devil's "1 hp" gravity well that lasts an ungodly amount of time

Shiva's and Ifrits are more or less telegraphed, but Diabolos' lasts forever, and there are usually other gravity wells out alongside it at the same time, so it's always a mess. Amaterasu's is a mess as well, especially the Kaleidoscope one, that comes out instantly, zigzags around the boss in full circles over and over, and just straight kills you for touching it. In Multiplayer you can get people to splash Raise into their builds, but it makes doing Melee Singleplayer a headache

Not only do they have awesome siege potential, but they can steal at least a little less than half their hp/ap back with Arrow Drone active. Hp doesn't seem to matter much when these Eidolons can throw out attacks like that, though. Another thing that irks me is that using my backstep while being hit actually pulls me forward right into the enemy rather than backwards.

A team of tanky monsters, and I can set back and Firaga/Blizzaga/Meteor all day. Encased some Phoenixes to gem into my armor for AP stealing, and it's good time
Wait what, medabots is still a thing? Had to look it up and I never knew medabots was mainly a game franchise. Thought they made a bunch of gba games because the show was a hit. If it weren't for medabots I would never had found the custom robo series, might have to actually pick this new game up.
If any of them would come stateside, I'd love to get them as well
Can anyone explain to me the differences between the FE: Fates versions? I can't find info on it.
Off the top of my head, different levels, different recrutiable characters, different character interaction, and different story segments. Each game is basically showing what would happen if you side with Nohr, or Hoshido.
Is there a "One game has X, and the other Y" list? How am I supposed to decide which one to get?
Serenes forest might be of help, they're usually pretty in depth on FE. http://serenesforest.net/fire-emblem-fates/ Although personally, I think you might want to consider getting both as it's more of a Oracle of Season's/Ages scenario instead of a pokemon x/y scenario in the sense they follow a similar overall story, but they're pretty different. Also, buying 1 version will allow you to buy the 2nd half off iirc
Is there a "One game has X, and the other Y" list? How am I supposed to decide which one to get?
Each share the first 5 chapters then have 23 of their own chapters. Nohr is more like classic fe while Hoshido has an over world you can grind.
Huh. That's an interesting concept. So they are basically two separate, distinct games.
I think I will get Birthright, since you can have a lesbian relationship in that version. One thing that made me not get Awakening was that I heard that you needed to breed specific characters to be strong enough to pass later levels. Is this true with Fates?

You can breed characters to get stronger children, but unless you take the time to stop and grind them up to appropriate levels, it's far easier to just finish the campaign with the original generation. Some of the absolute end-game DLC challenge missions are balanced around optimal characters, but even then you can get away without the kids

You have to buy it each time though I mean you can level up infinitely. It will just cost a ton and it's some thing you can't really do in not
It's both true and not, in awakening there's dlc what if stories and you HAVE to matchmake characters a certain way on lunatic+ if you even want a chance to survive turns. (Mostly so you can get the Galeforce ability on as many as possible) Though will say yeah as mentioned before all 3 games are completely different Birthright -Easier by a country mile -Let's you grind levels and stuff between stages -Features mostly brand new classes and new weapon types and the like -Maps are a lot more open and you can kinda spitball around -Lesbian relationship in it -Fight against the Nohr which are sweeping through them. Conquest -Harder -Classic Jobs/Classes -Different maps that you have to alter with skills and whatnot -No grinding or anything between stages, it's back to back action where you only stop by the barracks before moving on. -Gay relationship is in this one -Fight against the army in Birthright. (Between both though you'll get 6 characters no matter what, after those 6 the casts become wildly different.) Revelations -It's the anime path where both armies team up and you can do whatever. This path is DLC meant to be played after you complete the other two or at least one of them. If you get the special edition it comes out day 1 but if you get a normal edition it's a few weeks out.
If you get the special edition it comes out day 1 but if you get a normal edition it's a few weeks out.
If you got the special edition, that sold out in hours two months ago. Not that I'm salty or anything.
So IGN confirmed that the benefits from skinship are still obtainable, but they didn't reveal to what extent. So it might be going into a room and getting a stats boost.
If you got the special edition, that sold out in hours two months ago. Not that I'm salty or anything.
Naw, it was up for preorder for like a month if I recall. I was pretty slow on the draw and I was still fine.
Despite owning my 3ds for a few years. I have yet to own a mario game on it. Im actually disappointed with myself
as long as bravely second is a topic of conversation i care less about the change to cowboy instead of indian and more about REVO not returning as composer, the writing apparently being filled with japanese 2chan memes (meaning an accurate translation and a 8-4 style memetastic translation could be one and the same) and the game apparently just not being as good as the original (which was a far from perfect game itself) also the fact that i remember all of this from like a year ago because the game's taken forever to come out has pretty much killed my excitement for the game.
Ok so I have asked for super mario land 3d on the 3ds for valentines. Is it any good?
3D land is the only Mario title I have actually bothered to obtain 100% completion on. That's because the recent ones besides that have been becoming something like "okay so you collected all 3 stars in every level + the stamps right? Do it four more times."

(Made even worse by the fact that the mode that's supposed to help you has a cap of 30 000 coins and stupid randomization making it useless in that regard.)
IMO if you have a wii u get 3d world instead, it's a lot better
Or get both. Despite what people said about them before SM3DW was released, they are definitely different enough to make both worthwhile.
So I'm hearing from a 3rd hand source that the minigame from Fates was removed from the Western release; however, if you ask me it has the same implications, as you just invite characters into your room and it fades to black. You get the affection boost still with this change.
Honestly the implications are even worse due to the Freudian ambiguity that now causes. :v:
An all new meaning to "friends with benefits".

Always fun when your opponents have some nice Medaparts.
