Paper Jam Bros is a good game. [sp]Doing a bros attack with nabbit at that one part really took me by surprise.[/sp]
As a aside for the no dual audio thing turns out that Nintendo isn't lazy, Azura/Aqua's singer and I think one other characters VA is under a recording studio called BEING and they said it's just straight up not allowed. That kinda makes sense enough for me.
nah i plan on doing revelations on hard mode after this and then ill finish off by doing my last run in conquest again, but on lunatic, where i minmax the shit out of everyone and make a completed team of unbeatable savages
Good luck, conquest is virtually unwinnable on lunatic without constant RNG luck, and God forbid you play Ironman and lose even -one- character, your playthrough is essentially done Even CH 6 without saze is fucking near impossible
God, I wish Dread Fighter didn't have that blue aura thing. It looks pretty dumb.

Using the farming DLC sort of defeats the purpose of conquest, don't you think?
Using the farming DLC sort of defeats the purpose of conquest, don't you think?
farming dlc defeats the purpose of playing any strategy game if you havent beat it already i beat conquest without dlc, so im going to do a planned run with a maxed out team (for use on streetpass and local battles) once i beat the other routes without dlc so no
Nah it does defeat the purpose of the game but honestly you shouldn't care what others think if you're having fun. It's your game, play it how you want etcetc. I'd be more annoyed at people going "Heh it's too easy I just bought the cheating dlc and hung out there for a few hours I wish games were hard again baaarf"
Honestly if you're lookin' to minmax your only options are Birthright and/or use of DLC, and even then, Birthright would take the longest time without DLC.
Looks like the bad ending for a while quest in Bravely Second was cut out in the EU version, making the sidequest choices pointless. This is probably the worst localization change to this game yet.
That actually effects gameplay and is worth getting mad about. I'm not looking forward to people yelling censored though as it doesn't apply to that.
This is significantly worse than what they did to fates.
Treehouse isn't responsible for Bravely Second's localization, it was done by Binari Sonori.
This is significantly worse than what they did to fates. Fuck Localization
what did they do to fates honestly
what did they do to fates honestly
* Removed skinship and Some Costumes * Changed Personalities in ways that devalue the character (Hisame being obsessed with pickles is a good example of this) * Altered dialog that devalues the impact of the situation at hand or devalues the story experience (Belka and Saizou C rank support conversation is a good example of this, since the B and A conversations act like the original C conversation has happened) * Mission names being changed for no other reason than to add a joke (Terrifying Spirit Mountain being Changed to Boo Camp is an example of this) * No Dual Audio (though, it is most likely due to the JPN VA of Azura being tied to a record label that this has happened, though it hasn't been officially confirmed)
Female Kamui x Hisame Support was all about pickled vegetables anyway. Not to mention JP Hisame had the personality of cardboard anyway so hard to call it "devalued" Belka x Saizou C rank is stupid and I agree on that matter. Boo Camp is pretty nitpicky tbh. It's just a name. The original wasn't even very good either.
The biggest loss is truly the original value of characters. On Birthright Chap. 18 and I don't have many favorites in Hoshido... I wonder if they changed many characters and how much they changed them. So far, I only really heard about the silent staredown and the pickles. I haven't witnessed any really bad supports. They aren't exceptional but some are nice and others cute. Other than the JP audio likely being tied to copyrights (it is a very logical reason), the rest of the changes are quite forgetful compared to an ENTIRE ending being cut down. I wonder what made them decide that...

It feels like there was a lot of fear mongering going on and now that it's out and just plain average people are determined to back up the "ITS RUINED!!!" gimmick. Only complaints I think have value are -Skinship if you really, really give a shit about poking soldiers faces -Belka x Saizou's placeholder support -The swimsuits that don't really do anything tbh. Complaining about a goofy map having a goofy title, le epic pickle man or things like that are just complaints for the sake of complaining honestly and they're easily balanced out by the things that are unquestionably better like Azama.
Does anyone know about a castle where I can get Countermagic for Corrin?
A common theory was that the west was going to get the petting thing and it was NoJ that told NoA to cut it out. People found 8000 voiced files of english petting dialogue in the game that was cut Makes u think

We still don't know if they're going to use a different localisation so they MIGHT not remove the skinship here.

It's still stupid that they changed the outcome to a sidequest like that but if it's only a sidequest that has been changed it doesn't seem game-ruining to me. It's not like they removed an ending to the entire game, at least that's what I make out of the article.

It is still terrible regardless though, even more than the many costume edits and the art book situation.

Theres ususally some story to it but its not affecting the overarching plot. So far Bravely Second for me has been sort of a let down, they're reusing the same towns and dungeons, even the dungeon layouts have been similar. This is only made worse if you think about chapters 5-8 in the first game.

It is still terrible regardless though, even more than the many costume edits and the art book situation.
I don't understand why they would get rid of it. At least some of the changes to Fire Emblem had reasons (reasons I don't agree with but reasons nonetheless), as far as we know there's literally no reason to get rid of the bad ending for Bravely Second. The only reason I can think of is to not make kids feel bad for making the wrong choice.
Wait, they've edited the art book? God damn, I've been looking forward to this game for so long, and trying hard to avoid spoilers, but it's sounding like the game has been butched in transit. I was gonna save up for the collectors edition purely because of that art book, but if this is how it's gonna be I'm gonna just buy the normal edition and import the original art book.

Basically anything that could offend a brain dead idiot.
I think I'm still gonna do what I said. I'd have to wait a while to be able to afford the deluxue version and I think its the same price overall if I went for a Japanese art book (aside from missing out on the OST and that frankly terrible Anges figure).
