Glad to see Rhythm Heaven 3DS coming over here, but I hope the new minigames aren't touch-screen focused. It's one of the reasons I prefer the Wii game to the DS game - no gimmicks, just button presses.
i never knew i wanted a kirby mech game until i saw it
MHX for the west? Fuck, that probably means there won't be a MHXG, I wanted subspecies and G rank. Still glad that's coming out at last.
Did they say anything about Flipnote on Europe or the new Club nintendo substitute?
Not sure how I feel about the new kirby game.
They advertized that Mecha armor like they did the hypernova thing in Tripple Deluxe, or those super abilities in the wii game, and I ended up really hating those things because they brought the pace of the game to a crawl.
Announced for release in Japan:

That's silly, yet pretty neat.
I've never played a dragon quest game, but i'll def give the two coming to the 3ds a shot.

I think, as gimmicks go, the mecha armor is one of their better ideas. It doesn't seem to make you all powerful and even retains your ability to steal abilities, so there should be a fair bit more variety than "walk up to thing, inhale thing".
I'm weirdly taken in by that solitaire horse breeding game.

Man, I want it, but I don't feel like buying yet another 3DS system. This guy makes some pretty cool decals that replicate the same effect, probably even better than Nintendo's effort: https://www.etsy.com/shop/EpicPALdesigns
My existing N3DS is already prepared for this day:

In Japan, the new SFC/SNES VC games are half off through March 16th for Nintendo Account holders. Why aren't they doing that in the west?
[editline]asfd[/editline]
Yep, the new VC games are up now and they're only 411JPY (about $3.60) for me while on the US eShop they're $7.99. And of course, still no crossbuy or even crossbuy discounts. Keep being classy, Nintendo of America.
I was looking at getting a N3DS XL but I heard the regular size one is coming very soon to NA?
I was looking at getting a N3DS XL but I heard the regular size one is coming very soon to NA?
It's been out in NA for a while, but only as a couple bundles. The most recent one was the Pokemon Red/Blue bundle, but that's sold out everywhere I think.
man nintendo can go eat a dick
kirby is literally my favourite series, the new one has stuff that's locked behind amiibo
even if i could get amiibos in brazil, i have an o3ds, which means i wouldn't be able to use them anyway
why live
It only looks to be some abilities with a special costume and thats about it. The new amiibos look fantastic save for the downs syndrome DDD, and you can buy an amiibo reader to use with the o3DS.
I am so excited for this game.

It uses the Dpad and the face buttons (A, B, X, Y). You can use a simplified tap system for some games but it's not mandatory. Every game has the dpad/button controls, even if they used flicking on the DS one
Tldr you have nothing to fear
I hate that SNES games are locked behind the New 3DS, I want to play them on my current 3ds
[editline]3rd March 2016[/editline]
Welp I ordered the New 3DS refurbed from Nintendo, Damn you for making buy a new system for SNES virtual console
I'm not buying a new 3DS just to play Earthbound.
Homebrew has shown that you can emulate SNES on the DS let alone the original 3DS.

UFO is a cool power but it's blowing my mind that not having access to it is apparently enough to ruin the game. It literally makes no sense to me.
That being said my Dedede looks perfectly fine so not sure what you mean.
I bet the only reason SNES is exclusive to the N3DS is because they needed more of an edge for people to buy the N3DS. Because as of right now there isn't much incentive to go out and buy the N3DS if you already own a 3DS.
And it's still not worth it IMO.
The New 3DS is what the original should have been in the first place.
And i'm still salty about the permanent scratches on the upper screen caused by the lower one. I feel like they really rushed the first 3DS.

Its not even locked behind amiibos, just you can unlock a different one using a amiibo.

Compared to the Smash render, the new Dedede amiibo looks pretty bad (although its only his mouth, but it sticks out like a sore thumb)
Homebrew has shown that you can emulate SNES on the DS let alone the original 3DS.
You can, but not very well. Nintendo has high standards for Virtual Console performance, so they wouldn't release something that didn't run comparably to the original system. The extra CPU power of the New 3DS was probably what gave them enough room to comfortably emulate SNES with high-quality results. I've tried the current homebrew SNES emulator that's out there for 3DS, and while it's playable, it has many noticeable issues (even in the simpler games like SMW).
The regular 3DS just can't handle it, not unless you modify and rebuild the games to work properly on the less-powerful hardware, which is what M2 did with the Sega 3D Classics series. Such effort made for every single SNES game would make it impossible to keep up a decent release schedule.
I'm upset about the Kirby game solely because I don't know what thing Kirby is doing that he wants to continue doing, so he goes through the whole story mode. It was for cake in Squeak Squad and to get color in his apple in Rainbow Curse, so I have to wonder how they will manage to top it.

To avoid Dreamland from being mechanized? They said it in the reveal. There is probably another reason too.

Hey look it's the Evil Car.
http://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/kirby-planet-robobot-3ds
Looks nice. The girl's robot name is Susie, seems she's the main villain.
Its will be the same plot as Triple Deluxue with a different invading force, Mecha Knight and Megaman X punchin shit.
I have yet to play Triple Deluxe...
Anyone know if FE Fates Europe is using the American Localization, if not I guess I will have to wait till the 20th of May to find out.
