Did you give the Monk a weapon? The Optimize option will give them one despite it actually hindering their potential P.Atk (unless the weapon is a set of knuckles).

Looks like Miimoto isn't having a March release in the US anymore.
I wonder if the feminazis in this game are consciously satirical [THUMB]http://i.imgur.com/EBsz1n9h.jpg[/THUMB]
This €40 DLC for Hyrule Warriors is great! It even comes with a free handheld game EDIT: Calm down with the boxes, I've been enjoying it. It's a really good (slightly enhanced?) port on the N3DS, considering the limitations. The fact Adventure mode made it back in is a huge win.
Hyrule Warriors Legends is a massive improvement over the Wii U version so far, just made it to the mission where you meet Cia for the first time, and got to do the first Linkle mission. Warping to different points on the map, commanding the AI buddies you have to go where you want them to, and insta-switch character selection with no lag is amazing, and on N3DS, holds up to the Wii U version in terms of framerate, haven't had slowdown yet. This version IS the definitive one to get if you haven't gotten the other, and happen to own a N3DS. Avoid if you have an regular 3DS. Framerate goes to crap, enemies get swapped out for 2D sprites, ect. Also, Linkle is a badass, her story is adorable, her quirks are cute, and she KICKS STUFF IN THE FACE, and her hood can be toggled IN GAME. Also, CUCCO ARMY.
My biggest concern is how long it takes to rack up KOs with less enemies on screen. Has anyone had issues with getting enough enemies to appear?
I haven't gotten to the specific KO enemies map but the lower amount of enemies hasn't really effected much outside pop in of them or anything- I still end maps with 1500+ dudes down.
My only experience with Warrior games is the One Piece games, but this one seems really solid. I adore getting to command my units around, and instantly switching them is great. The game is definitely sluggish, but not as bad as I expected, my standards are definitely low enough to consider it playable, still
Yeah this is certainly the definitive version of the game, the overhauled legends mode- new mechanics and whatnot all work to make it a more active experience. It's good. (If you have a N3DS) Also what do you want in a new OP? I'm typing it up and I doubt I gotta explain what a 3DS is.
The new boss mechanics in Hyrule Warriors is really freaking cool golly Also I was going to be upset that all weakpoint smashes on Giant bosses are just a generic "hold hand up and a dome explodes outwards" but then I remembered literally every single one in the wii u was "character jumps really high and hits them" and got over it.
Avoid if you have an regular 3DS. Framerate goes to crap, enemies get swapped out for 2D sprites, ect.
we doom now i wish n3ds was just the 3ds right out the gate, i don't want to buy a n3ds just so some games don't run like shit.

The biggest felon was Volga's. His animation was a half-reused Naginata Impa's boss smash with a terrible (most likely non existent) in-between frames of animation. Oh and I can't enjoy HWLegends this weekend because it only arrives on Monday. At least I bought Triple Deluxe. Kirby games are always so nice to play.
For those unaware the new rules on big bosses are if you gang up on them with all heros (tell them to come here) you get a boost with green lightning crashing around you and it's cool as fuck. If it's just you it's the typical Hyrule Warriors boss fight. If there's 2 heroes you drain it's magic for your meter, 3 you break the weak point smashes WAY faster, and 4 you just do monster damage. It's cool as hell. [editline]26th March 2016[/editline] If there's a Hyrule Warriors 2 (Dunno why but I feel like that's not going to happen despite the sales) I hope it keeps all of these changes even if it's another console game. This really is a shot in the arm for it.
Alright, I'm pretty much convinced to buy it at this point. If I'm getting new characters, I want something to do with them.
Hey guys, just wanted your input. I want to buy a 3DS, since I've been pretty damn disappointed by the Wii U's lineup this year, and it looks like the 3DS has a ton of games coming out for it. I'm just wondering though; is it better to get the N3DS, 3DSXL, or the 2DS? Now, I'd love to get the N3DS, but it's a bit out of my price range right now. I wanted to go with the 3DSXL, but a friend of mine said to just go for the 2DS and a game or two, since there's not much difference between the two systems. What do you guys suggest? Also, I don't care about portability that much, honestly. I always carry around a bag/briefcase with me pretty much wherever I go, so it doesn't need to be in my pocket.

The XL's large screen is pretty nice (Although it just upscales)
Well, first thing's first. What kind of games do you intend to play on it?
These are the games that caught my eye: - Pokemon X&Y - Basically all the LoZ games (bar Hyrule Warriors, didn't like it much on the Wii U) - The Monster Hunter series - Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright - Animal Crossing and maybe the Fire Emblems games and other JRPGs as well. Never really tried out the FE series, maybe I'll give it a go this generation. Edit: Can't forget about Smash Bros as well, of course. I don't know how well it works on the 3DS though.
Go for the 3DSXL, you'll regret getting the 2DS. Animal Crossing/Smash looks great in 3D, and so does Pokemon when it doesn't lag. If only you had the money for the N3DS though, the face tracking is a really nice feature. It makes the gimmick actually decent and allows you to play in 3D for extended periods of time instead of having to get your head at the perfect angle.

There aren't performance issues or anything, but You'll probably end up wanting either the n3DS' extra control nub, or a Circle Pad Pro for a o3DS. Smash runs flawlessly on o3DS, you don't have to worry there. It takes like, a minute to load up, but in game there aren't any problems at all. Everything else you mentioned should be fine either way, so it's up to personal preference. Personally, I prefer the XL models for their larger screen. It's just an upscaled image, yeah, but there are very few situations where you can see traces of it, and it's much more comfortable because of it's size.
Also if you want a decent time playing Majora's Mask 3D or Kingdom Hearts 3D, the circle pad pro is basically essential. Simply put, N3DSXL has the best bang for your buck. if you can't do that, then get the normal N3DS. I personally like the XL because I have large hands, so it feels more comfortable. Oh and if you don't have money for games afterward, you can always do some homebrew fun.
Looks like the overwhelming majority is either 3DSXL with Circle Pad, or the N3DS. Honestly, I'm really leaning on the N3DSXL now, but is it alright if I just buy it refurbished rather than brand new? It's directly from Nintendo, and it's like 30 bucks less than MSRP.

It needs specific firmware versions, and most refurbished consoles are on the latest firmware. Chances are homebrew will catch up though. I grabbed my N3DSXL from amazon with no issues.
Looks like I'm going with the N3DSXL, then. Thanks everyone for your help!

I've never received one that actually looked used.

You really like Stella Glow, don't you?
You really like Stella Glow, don't you?
I think it's pretty neat! It's unpolished and anime as all hell but the mechanics presented in it are really fun- it's something I could honestly see becoming a franchise and improving as time goes on. The list I posted was just me trying to think up a good handful of games to fit each section though and after playing it for a few days it's on my mind v:v:v [editline]26th March 2016[/editline]
Mario Kart 7, you mean?
