Am I the only one who wish the new 3Ds series got more and more Exclusive titles,so that way upgrading will be necessary, and even possibly expand the 3ds series alittle longer?
Probably- most consumers buy consoles to not sorry about upgrades for a few years, so focusing solely on a relatively minor update would be bad for the long run.

Im just saying,I mean to me,I want this to be more than another upgrade system in the Dsi route.
I definitely wouldn't wish that. If they're getting ready to start doing more demanding games, I'd rather they just go on to the next handheld family.
I say cuz, with the NX on its way and they may said I heard no new handheld systems.
Id kinda want that really.
Half-generations are bad and only lock out customers while upsetting them at the same time.
Which is why the ps4k and nextbox 1.5 will cause a huge amount of salt and I can't wait for e3.
If they DO make incremental updates, however, do you guys think nintendo will follow suit with the NX? Or will they sell the practice as anticonsumer (which it is) and make themselves the good guy?
Eh I wouldn't want every single game to be N3DS exclusive or anything but was certainly hoping for more than well, one game. I picked it up because I was able to at the time and I thought for sure there would be more so I can't help but feel a little ripped off.
At this point I dont think any developer would make the mistake of making N3DS exclusives.
It really would just limit their target audience.

I'm afraid they're likely to do it with the NX, yeah. From what we've seen, it looks like they're looking at mobile and tablet devices as their competition, so

There's 2! Don't forget Binding of Isaac

Exactly why I wish it had more exlusives....I mean 1 game thats exlusive only...Really?
Plus few games do use its other buttons, and even work better there.
Like hyrule warriors ...Since it tends to lag on older models i heard.
Still,I will say I dont want them to focus on it alone, just give it more games to make more want to upgrade.
Heck not even my brother who owns a 3Ds dosent care of upgrading.

Sigh,I hate the mobile gaming market -_-....
(no offense to those who love mobile games, but I find em meh,and even rancid on micro transactions)

I would only to give it some titles,I guess..

Fully agreed, mobile games are just dire to even think about.
For the record though, I'm personally really glad that Hyrule Warriors wasn't n3DS exclusive. It doesn't run well on o3DS by any means, but I've still enjoyed it quite a bit, and I'm glad I didn't have to drop another 150$ to be able to play it, you know?
Things like the Monster Hunter games are a good way of handling the n3DS-o3DS difference, where there's a small visual bump for having the new model, and the way they make use of the extra buttons or CPP either one
When will the Groose be loose?

Oh yeah, I wouldn't argue that in any case. The N3DS is nice for people who don't already have a system (or want one of the flashy machines) but it's passable ultimately.
When will the Groose be loose?
I saw people mad that Marin got in and not Groose
Like yeah of course Groose would be in the Link's Awakening DLC
When will the Groose be loose?
Probably not until the NX edition of Hyrule Warriors.
New Bomb ability for the ride armor!

Also bosses now show up in normal stages sometimes!

Framerate test of Hyrule Warriors across 3DS, New 3DS, and Wii U. Surprisingly, the most solid performance comes from New 3DS, not Wii U.

fixed :)
The 3ds version looks like shit though.
To be fair it is getting blown up and side by side to a prettier game.
It actually looks decent on my N3DS
I don't own the game myself, I only played a bit at my friends plac. But i can't say that I agree with you. There are a lot of 3ds games that look good for being on a handheld but I wouldn't put HW3D on that list.
Eh, to each their own then. I'm in the end game of the Legends mode and while there's some rough looking things given the amount of enemies roaming around I'm impressed enough v:v:v
Like the Wii-U version is downright gorgeous compared to this and I'm not trying to say Legends is going to win awards, I just don't mind it.
If heavy lobster doesn't make an appearance in Robobot I will be severly disappointed

I'm with you on this one. I have no problems at all with the visuals of Legends after a good 18 hours of gameplay.
If heavy lobster doesn't make an appearance in Robobot I will be severly disappointed
Heavy Lobster has a high chance of showing up with Meta Knight being this games focus.
I'm also personally hoping for a variation of Computer Virus.
the thing about n3ds exclusives is that instead of making exclusives they make games playable on both, in the sense that 10fps with pop in is a thing you can play.
it's a shame. XBC3D actually plays pretty well and it's a game that benefits from being portable a lot. graphics are comparable and framerate is 30~ with drops instead of 30.
i know a guy who buys games without really doing research on them (bought Triforce Heroes but didn't know it was multiplayer focused, used a eshop voucher i got for his birthday for some stuff, decided he wanted super nintendo games and traded in his old 3ds he just used the voucher on for a new 3ds without transferring it over) and i was almost certain he was gonna end up getting hyrule warriors legends and realizing it plays at 10fps before he said he traded in for a new 3ds. there are people who are gonna end up doing this same thing except they'll have the old 3ds and they're gonna feel mighty cheesed.
Part of me feels like that specific situation is more the fault of the consumer then anything. Like if someone goes in and buys Mario Maker and expects it to run on a Xbox 1 I'm not exactly going to fault anyone but that person.
Like it's not exactly 1:1 situation wise but still.
Also more I think on Kirby bosses that should return the more I realize it only makes sense for the best boss of Return to Dreamland to strike back. [sp]Mr. Dooter[/sp]
Hey, is the New Nintendo 3DS exchange programme still going? I'd love to trade in my original model for the upgrade somewhere, while saving the cash to pick up FE (Fates): Birthright seperately! [SP]Of course, Sift suggested it because the plot is better...[/SP] Heck, I could get my older brother to do the same.

Plot aside, I'd second recommending Birthright first. Conquest really expects you to know all of the new mechanics, and it's significantly less forgiving
I'm not sure if any exchange program is around for new systems and whatnot- usually those are aired before the launch of the upgrade/next system.
Also gonna sound stupid but would people get upset if I went ahead and tossed up the new thread now? There's about 8-9 posts left and I gotta head out and well, not sure if I'll be around when this one gets locked :v:
Can wait if it's shot down though and yeah I'm aware it's silly.
might as well post it now, we can kill this thread with high quality discussion
speaking of quality, does anyone here have a regular n3ds and if so, how are faceplates? i'm seriously tempted to downgrade from xl to regular so i can use some :V
Only thing I know about faceplates is that the ones I want are price gouged to hell and back and that makes me upset.
Also one person saying it's okay is good enough for me!!! New thread

The ones that came with my Pokemon Red/Blue 3DS are pretty good. Although haven't tried the others since the ones I want seem to be expensive.

Not to mention a lot of impossible to find.

The only problem is the fact the faceplates don't protect anything they really should. All the corners of the n3ds are exposed so if you drop your n3ds chances are the faceplates will be the things escaping damage.
Besides that though they're durable enough and are a great way to personalize. Also I carry my n3ds in my pocket so I always have preferred the smaller model so that's a cool bonus.
Honestly the graphics got scaled back massively for HWL, but besides the shading and outlines, it isn't really a drastic leap from OoT/MM3D. The big difference is that those worlds are packed with detail, compared to less of it in HWL, but all things considered it isn't a bad transition. And goddamn does the N3DS version look smooth, makes me wish I had the money and time to switch.
