I hope you're talking about the Wii version :v:
I sometimes forget that Dreamland is the first Kirby game because he can't copy in that one, and overall it's a somewhat unremarkable game, imo. Kirby's Adventure is absolutely amazing, though.
i still remember the first time i beat it in daycare. i was like 5 or 6 years old, sitting in the basement surrounded by a bunch of kids yelling and playing with hotwheels or whatever, and i'm just wrecking through kirby's dreamland mindin' my own business because i was a nerd and had an original gameboy. and shortly before i got picked up by my mom i managed to finally beat king dededede after trying many times.
it's like one of the very few memories i have left of that place. i still own the very DMG/cartridge i beat it on way back when, but a vertical stripe of pixels near the left edge of the screen are dead now so it's a little bit harder to play.
kirby's adventure is totes rad tho yea
I can't stress enough how absolutely worth it Kid Icarus Uprising is.
If you don't have it already and have the coins, get it. You won't regret it.
Wow, that's an overwhelming surprise. Good on Nintendo for doing something cool. Here's hoping I can pony up the coins to get some of those awesome posters before they disappear.
Just a little PSA, by the way: Doc Louis's Punch-Out is hidden among the digital prizes. That was once a platinum-level exclusive prize, so if you're gonna grab something digital with your last coins and you don't have that already, you should snag it before it disappears forever (unless Nintendo is nice enough to put it on Wii Shop Channel).
Also, the Platinum prize for this year is going to be the ability to pick "from a wide selection of digital games", so you'll likely be able to grab one or two of these games without using coins anyway. Focus on the physical prizes, if you have enough coins.

The virtual console N64 version, yeah.

Fuck you, Mario.
I wish I got free games from Club Nintendo.
As I am an Aussie, the best thing available from Club Nintendo is a cheap Mario cap. But to all you Americans, the Dillon's Rolling Western games are really worth the time. The controls can be a problem, but the game itself is a great blend of tower defense and action adventure and the world/characters are really cool.
Good lord. I want that messenger bag.

Oh yes, delicious rewards for me. [sp]Fuck you Nintendo :c[/sp]
For a measly 2000 stars too!
I'll never have Ball. Question, do those Nintendo Points still work?
I ordered some face plates today from Japan, it only occurred to me when I checked my bank balance that I had spent $40 on 3ds face plates
Is Club Nintendo (America) still down for anybody else?

I've got it to work a few times, but I couldn't log in.

Yeah, site works, but it keeps logging me out.
Majora's Mask 3DS XL Pouch, Smash Bros. poster set v2, or Mario t-shirt? hmm...

Not too sure about how I feel about this.
Is the club nintendo shipping free?
Is the club nintendo shipping free?
Yes, it's always free shipping.
Everyone seems to be getting cool Club Nintendo Prizes but we in Aussie land have the same old catalog from years ago, which sometimes a new prize, for example, Mario Deck of Cards, Mario kart 8 badges and the one that just got removed, LBW soundtrack.
Nothing cool at all.

I feel like this didn't need a video about it
The Zora swimming is definitely notable but this I probably would have forgot about a minute afterwards.
As good as GameExplains videos are for detailed analysis and stuff, they do make some pointless and bloated videos.
I remember when they made a video on if Kirby copies custom special moves in Smash, they just took ages to show it instead of just putting it in a big video.
They're videos made by detail freaks, for detail freaks, with as much coverage over a subject as they feel they can give while still staying on topic.
If how long or overly redundant/dry the videos are annoys you, you might not be the target audience.
[editline]3rd February 2015[/editline]
Basically they're structured to answer most any question you could possibly have about that subject, before you even ask it. They're thorough almost to a fault.
Just look at their final smash expo video. They showed all of the koopalings even though it's the same for all of them, because they knew if they didn't, there would be SOMEONE asking about a specific one, even if the video says "the koopalings share the same final smash as Bowser Jr." It seems like a waste, but it's preventing a lot of dumb questions that would normally clog the comments.
Just a heads up, if Club Nintendo seems down to you, clear your cache or use another browser.
"For Flipnote Studio 3D, please check your To-Do list to receive your download code later this week."
God damn it, two weeks ago I cashed out my Club Nintendo coins thinking there wouldn't be anything else other than the platinum reward. Got a 3DS multi-cart case and Kirby's Dreamland 3. Now all these good games are there that I could have gotten if I still had coins.
I don't know if this is still relevant or not, but here's some MH4U demo.

When was the last time you turned your 3DS off?

this is such a minor thing to complain about holy shit
Skip to 1:07 for the actual change. All he does is ramble on for the first minute.

I personally wouldn't really consider this the "best" change to the game but it's a nice addition nonetheless. Hell, who actually kept on running into the flower time and time again? I thought most players would get the message to keep away from the flower unless you had to use it.
I wouldn't really consider this the best change to Majora's Mask but it is a nice change nonetheless. I'm still convinced that the changes that matter the most are the ones that affect game play such as the new Save Owls and the Song of Double Time's ability to let you select any hour into the future.
They play a more integral part in the game compared to a shortening of a cutscene for the convenience of the player if they happen to accidentally step on the deku flower.•
I heavily disagree. I constantly use this method, and would have been absolutely confused by the change, having no idea about the method to do it again.
