Skip to 1:07 for the actual change. All he does is ramble on for the first minute.

I personally wouldn't really consider this the "best" change to the game but it's a nice addition nonetheless. Hell, who actually kept on running into the flower time and time again? I thought most players would get the message to keep away from the flower unless you had to use it.
Still think that the best change they could have made was making the Razor Blade unbreakable.
It such a cool looking blade. If I could, I'd use it over the Gilded Sword anytime.
Damn, whenever I think I've made it to Club Nintendo, it goes to just a blank white page.
And it's always after I successfully logged in.

Same here.
I just hope I have enough coins for that cool LoZ puzzle, if not then all my coins can go die since there's nothing else I really want on the list of rewards
I really want that messenger bag but I'm moving in 3 weeks and don't know whether or not it will be in stock when we get to the new house.

All I'm getting is the free Flipnote since even after I fill out the surveys I won't have enough for anything.
PSA: You can get some free coins for downloading Pokemon Bank (3DS), Rusty's Real Deal Baseball (3DS), Steel Diver: Sub Wars (3DS) and Zen Pinball (WiiU).

Thanks for the heads up, I'm at 995.
Wow ya'll ain't kidding about heavy traffic.
Still waiting for better rewards for europe.
I do not wanna spend my stars on gift paper.
I would like to see Nintendo remake these two commercial's for Majora's Mask 3D.

Looks like logging on in the morning was the key to getting onto Club Nintendo.
Now I got to do the survey for Smash, and have 80 coins.
I'll trade a Grill Off With Ultra Hand key for StarFox 64 3D :v:
Just pre-ordered the limited edition of Majora's Mask 3DS on the EU Nintendo shop. So excited for the day it arrives.
If anybody wants to take a look at my New 3DS:

Tried this but it didn't seem to work for me. Is there something you have to do besides downloading it?

Do the survey on CN.

I think you have to actually turn on the software for a bit, it also might take a while because servers etc.

I see. Guess I have to wait a bit. The surveys aren't showing up.

There we go. Also, it's dawned upon me that I've only played two Kirby games in my lifetime, Kirby's Pinball Land and Kirby 64. Playing the snippets of Kirby in NES Remix got me curious since it was all so new to me.

More changes, you can't freeze any body of water- only predetermined points, and side quests solve themselves.
Really starting to lose interest in this remake. They're fucking up a lot of what made it so good.
side quests solve themselves.
what
no they don't
I am not a fan of these changes at all.
Why is OOT3D the same as the original with minor differences, but MM3D gets tons of changes?
Eh. Not really bothered about the Ice Arrow change. Outside the Great Bay Dungeon they're rarely used besides getting across to Ikana if I recall correctly. To be fair though, I guess it wouldn't of hurt to actually have it so that it shows where the ideal ice platform would appear but still allow you to create them in all parts of the water.

I think the worst part about it is that they put the blue fairy dust to show you where to shoot it.
Can't I just try and figure it out myself? Have it restricted, I am disappointed and if there are glitches that used the ability to put the ice bricks anywhere in the original, I am sure people who did those glitches will be disappointed.
But don't fucking show where to put the damn blocks. It's a puzzle, I don't want hand holding, and if I really need to, I'll use a walkthrough.
Instead of the sparkles, they could had Octorocks pop out.
That's how you cross the river in Ikana. By freezing monsters.
But eh. It will still be enjoyable, just weird to have the notebook pop out most of the time if not always.
Also, by the looks of it, it's just hints. Like the rock meat stuff in the video.
It just says something about a "rock-loving Goron". If you never talked to the said Goron, you still have to figured out who the hell it is and where to take it.
I'm just glad it's not as bad as the hand holding in Skyward Sword (plus, it was a very linear game which made it worse. There is not much to walk on, you eventually find the solution) and hopefully, Zelda U won't have much if none of it. I really hope the "revamping the formula" isn't this kind of stuff.
I really want to relive an experience close to the original 1986 Zelda, where I remember playing with a friend and drawing a giant map with tons of scribbles and notes. Took us a year to find everything and finish the game back then.

Probably because Ocarina of Time was not only highly requested from just an initial tech demo showing, and I get the feeling it was somewhat rushed because of how little changed, but also because it's one of the greatest games of all time or so the industry will say. If you so much as alter even the most minor thing, people will never let you live it down with a classic, and thus people complain about the more vibrant rendered Castle Town, or the brightened lighting, or the reduced gore beneath the Kakariko Well, or even Link's model 'not being as expressive'.
Majora's Mask is more of a cult classic, a game that was a more modest success and is harder to recommend. Besides the ice arrow dumbing down, a lot of the changes are either carryovers from OoT3D or various tweaks and balances to make the game not only more portable-friendly, but newcomer-friendly. They also probably had a lot more time to work on it, and decided to go more in-depth since it was such a divisive game they can't just simply 'ruin forever'.
But this is mostly conjecture on my part.

If you guys really aren't gonna buy MM3D because it's "dumbed down" or it holds your hand, have fun in NoMM3Dville.
The rest of us are gonna have fun playing it.

Reminds me of this from the original Zelda booklet.

Kind of surreal to see the rock formations like that.
Damn, I just got it. No wonder they put the original Zelda into the "apocalyptic" part of the timeline. Look how Hyrule was supposed to look like!
Slow ass brain.

Going by the Zelda 2 Map, that isn't the entirety of Hyrule. Just a small section of it.
Well when i play Majoras Mask, im only going to use the Owls for saving. Thats the way i like it.
