New 3DS Megathread v6 - Games

To be fair, the additional statues were a change that I feel were inevitable if they wanted to make it handheld friendly. Nothing sucks worse than having only 5 minutes of battery left, but the next place you can save is 30 minutes away.

Got some hands on time with the New 3DS, not going to get one until they make a blue one. The black one is a finger print magnet and the red is kinda ugly. I kept going back and forth on getting one but now I finally decided not to get one until it has a few interesting exclusives, or until a blue one comes out.

I only had 200 Club Nintendo coins, so I got Golden Sun. I remember it being a big deal back when the GBA was still new, and I wanted to give it a go. All I can say is I'm so fucking glad I didn't spend real money on it, Jesus. Moving onto better games though, has anyone tried the Codename Steam demo yet? I thought the game looked just okay when I saw the gameplay videos of it, but actually trying it is another matter. It's really cool and also intense at times

IIRC there are little feather statues peppered throughout the world now too, where you can make saves you can only resume once.

You have to download it yourself from the eShop to play and get coins.

So I'm having a hard time deciding if I want to buy Shantae or Shovel Knight. Which do you guys think has more replayability?

I don't know about other parts of the world but in the EU/UK eshop for the 3DS, there is a 3D trailer now available for Majora's Mask. It happens to show off a lot of footage of the temples and a shot or two of Odolwa & Twinmold.
