What faceplate do you like the look of most? I really love the Ambassador's top plate, but I can't wait to be rocking out with this piece of ass:
Should I get the New 3DS XL or regular New 3DS? My local gamestop doesn't have any of them for testing. And i've never used a 3DS before
I managed to scrounge up 700 coins for the posters. Now I have to wait... 2-5 months... Why...

The graphics get upscaled a bit though which makes aliasing more noticeable but its never bothered me much. The regular 3DS is obviously smaller which makes it a bit more pocket friendly, but beyond that there's not a whole lot of difference between them besides the screens and the feeling. Both of them are really solid and nice to use

Is there any news on anything like a boss rush/master quest? The fact they would bother to include a boss rush in OoT yet not MM ([sp]a game with only 5 bosses[/sp]) will upset me dearly.

In Majoras Mask, you can go back and fight the bosses and it clears the temple for that area. Just a thought but maybe thats why.
If I recall, there is also a secret cave that allows you to fight the Mini-Bosses of each region. It's in Ikana.

It's behind the waterfall at where the river begins but you need a certain amount of hearts to actually enter all of the rooms and complete all the challenges. But as for a boss mode/rush the first room in every temple has a Majora pedestal that allows you to relive the boss battle in whatever temple you visit.
It's a core mechanic anyways. You NEED to beat bosses multiple times to finish all the sidequests. Or at least, Goht is the one that gets beaten the most. I remember having to fight him a lot during my playthroughs. Poor Goht.

It was only during my second playthrough I realized I had to use the Goron mask. :v:
Asking about a Majora's Mash boss rush is like asking for a Megaman one :v:
Very valid and reasonable point. Yet, there just doesn't seem to be much reason to get this assuming you already have a copy of MM on another console. For me at least, the only things that appeal to me about this game are portability, improved frame-rate and some improved graphics. I know this is plenty enough for a lot of people who already have MM, and I know the game has been made more for people who didn't get to play MM or were turned off by some of MM's more obtuse mechanics. I know people who will enjoy this game a lot, but for me, I think I will enjoy the original version more.
Mind you, a vast majority said that about WWHD, but after actually playing it they expressed difficulty going back.
Yeah probably not buying Majora's Mask if there is anymore hand-holding. That shit infuriates me to no end. I'm not crossing a busy street I'm playing a god damn puzzle game. I'll just spend 40 dollars on the next steam sale instead.
Too be honest, I agree with you. After looking at all the changes and the extra hand holding, it really put me off of the game. So I am debating on whether or not I should cancel my pre-order and just buy something else instead. If I want to play MM then I'll play it on my Wii, it isn't a big deal. I just really wish they did the same thing that they did with OOT3D and not change everything, they fixed some little bits and made the Water Temple easy, but besides that all glitches and the such are possible in the 3D version like they were in the N64 version.
Well there has to be some type of master mode/mirror mode. Kinda like what they did for OoT 3D.
All this "major hand holding" you're all talking about is the revision to the save system, the ice arrows and the bombers notebook? Or are you having knee jerk reactions like sift was over the controls?
Ok so in club nintendo, a Wii and pink DS survey popped up? :v:

I WANT to buy this game and love it forever, please let me do it Nintendo. This game was my childhood, I still have printed "glitches" from super cheats from 2002 for this game

Too be honest, I agree with you. I just noticed the top half of my new 3DS is a bit loose, has anyone else got this? Is it normal? Is it damaged/mismanufactured? Not a huge deal but I'd like to know what's going on.

I don't think it's that much of a problem, the space in between allows the screen to flip back and forth probably.
I noticed the exact same thing earlier today with my N3DS.
How do you guys have them already?
How do you guys have them already?
We've had them available to buy since late last year.
The US is the last to the n3DS party.
I thought Europe was the 13th like the US? Whatever, Nintendo needs to get their shit together :/
