So it seems that I was just charged for my preorder of the Majoras Mask New 3DS XL and my copy of MH4U from Gamestop. Looks like it will be shipping soon. Fuck yes.
No confirmation email yet but it seems like some people have gotten an email today.
So I'm 15 Club Nintendo coins short of the Zelda XL case that I REALLY WANT. I have the cool Mario regular 3DS case that I LOVED but since I got a 3DS XL, it doesn't fit anymore.
What cheap physical 3ds games do you recommend getting getting to fill out those last 15 coins?

...hm. Gamestop charged me a week early for my MMn3DS. That wouldn't be a problem if I didn't make another order from them with the Monster Hunter n3DS for my girlfriend, and I don't have enough in my account to buy that one. Is there any way to check if a purchase is gonna come through, or will I have to scramble for my options? I'm almost chancing calling up gamestop and seeing if they can reverse the order for a while.
iirc they charge you once the item ships for online orders (assuming you ordered it online) if you don't select the ship to store option
you can try calling, but if it's already shipped I don't think much can be done.

But it ships on Friday? And even if it didn't, I haven't gotten any confirmation from gamestop that tells me that it has. It would be awesome if they arrived a few days early, but somehow I don't think that's the case.

Did you check you spam inbox? For whatever reason all my Amazon and GameStop confirmations end up there. But yeah, it's unlikely it shipped early.
Wouldn't hurt to contact support and see what's up. I've only had one weird shipping/early charging thing with GameStop was when the Wii U first came out and I got ZombiU two days before the console came out.

It really isn't that big of a problem, I just hate to have to ask my girlfriend to send me her share of the money earlier than I asked her to. In the end if this means we'll be getting our n3dses early, that's a fair tradeoff.

I haven't used the original 3DS, but I rarely lose the 3d effect when moving my head. It's not perfect, but it's good.

It's a good thing. Wario don't dick around when it comes to coins. Even after losing them for the umpteenth time. I mean, the coins end up being shoved into a huge vault, but he makes sure to count each of those fuckers and keep them in mint condition. For a greedy brute, he has an eye for quality!
Plus, he rides a motorbike. Motorbikes rule.

What do you guys think of new Yoshi's Island, is it worth the money?
I'm like a game away (60 coins) away from getting Star Fox 64 3D off of Club Nintendo.
I'd get KI:U but I'm lefty with no CPP so I'd rather not risk it on something I might not be able to play.
This is on my main account so I don't want to risk it with Wii Minis.
So after much deliberation (and my coins coming back after a chat with support) I got Starfox 64 3D. I've already completed the game numerous times on the N64, but my copy was stolen during a move - possibly by one of the movers - along with my N64 and 12 other games for it. I haven't played it in years because of that.
It's supposedly a straight-up improvement over the N64 original though, so I'm eager to get right back into it and complete this version too.

It is complete and total garbage.
They had an extremely vague idea of what people liked about the original (art, music, etc), and chose to exaggerate those elements, leaving it a stylistic mess full of kazoo music.
What players REALLY liked about the original was the creative level design and variety, of which New Island has absolutely none. It sucks to say this, but please avoid it.

That makes me regret not getting the MH4U New 3DS bundle. My buddy talked me out of it because 1. It's expensive and I already have a 3DS and 2. I shouldn't dole out that kind of cash for a big goofy decal (his words not mine).
But we'll see once I get it. Also, does anyone have any experience with how fast Best Buys ships stuff? I ask because they estimate I'll get the game by the 26th or so :\
If anyone asks, I ordered from them because, for some reason, Amazon didn't have their pre-orders up for the normal edition yet.

I find it really weird that we can now see comparison charts between the same cartridge and have different results on two handhelds

which is why I'm hoping Woolly world fixes this,
my biggest concern is for it to be easy as shit I hope I'm proven wrong
