He says:
He says kid, not boy. What if Zelda played a prank on him with the Ocarina? Seeing how Impa is the founder of Kakariko, she could have brought the princess with her at some point. Plus, it's canon that OoT Zelda is a tomboy (the Gossip Stone in Hyrule Castle tells you that), so she could love playing pranks on people, hence why her father might not believe everything she says or her premonitions as she does not behave as she should.
I like to think the reason why the king didn't listen to Zelda is because she kept referring to Ganondorf as "that DARK man," and he didn't want to seem like a racist against this potentially fruitful business partner.
As for the zelda timeline stuff, I try not to get into any of that. It's clear that they're all vaguely tied together, and that while there's a lot of references and direct sequels in the later games, in the end they focus on creating a good story with link and hyrule before anything else. I will say, however, that I believe if Miyamoto never left the series development to Aonuma, we wouldn't see nearly as much story as we have been since Ocarina.
Looking at getting a 3DS to play the new pokemon, had one when they first came out but sold it.
Is an XL worth getting? Did find the standard one slightly small.

Yeah, that could be it too. Still goes to show Zelda ain't as polite as she seems to be. Not to mention, she's to blame for the entire split timeline of OoT.
Before the timeline, aside from the obvious sequels like Hero of Time saga, the Oracles series, the Zelda I & II and the Great Sea/New Hyrule Trilogy, I always thought that the "Legend" was the same one retold in various ways.
But then came Twilight Princess with the Hero's Shade linking OoT and TP together and Skyward Sword putting the whole curse on the trinity that is the main cast, the whole reincarnations thing and adding a forth goddess into the mix. I even wonder if she'll be mentioned in future games.
I still feel like it was forced upon Nintendo to create a timeline... I even think that Skyward Sword wouldn't exist if it wasn't for the timeline theories.
Oh sweet! I can finally get Flipnote Studio 3D!

How come they offer the new 3DS XL in grey, but not in black like the normal new 3ds?
My friend's Majora's Mask 3D shipped early and arrived today!
I hope mine arrives friday.
Would be dope if it arrived early!
I'm a cheap bastard, and i took the free shipping option on amazon. So it should come next week.
At least this confirm my order for the limited edition of the game.

Same here but I chose the standard option and it's still next week. Knowing Amazon, I could get it Friday too. Happened many times that the day I receive my package is a day of two before the estimate.
Now to see if the Skull Kid figurine and the game will come friday. At least I'll be playing it during the weekend then transfer all next week and put my ALBWXL into an eternal slumber back in the box.
Ugh so there's supposed to be a storm tomorrow, again. Hopefully this doesn't interfere with me going to Target at open on Friday. Not confident in my chances since apparently it's only 3 per store but eh I'll give it a shot.
what's the best way to sell my old 3ds xl after I get the new one?
Man, Twilight Princess was my jam back in ye olde Wii times.
I'll admit, TP has it's flaws:
Zant had very fast (shitty?) development, which could be helped by showing his descent into insanity, rather than just "i'M cUhRaZeEeE!!!1!" right at the last second.
The overworld was empty, and throwbacks to ALttP could help alleviate that, wtith minidungeons and less shitty collect-a-thons with the Poes and light bugs.
The Magic armor was a shit concept. What moron would pay to wear a piece of clothing? Have the Magic armor drain rupees instead of health (or rupees + less damage taken idk)
Storywise, it was alright. Introduced a new parallel world to Hyule, joining Termina, The Dark World, and Lorule later on. The thing with G-Dorf [sp] killing the sage of forest[/sp] was rad.
However, we really need some context as to why the Twili were banished in the first place? What exactly did they do? Who were they? The Twili world also needs to be fleshed out. It really only feels like the Twilight Palace is the only place in the Twilight Realm. No towns, hamlets, what have you. Just a magical flying citadel.
If they do make TP3D, have it act like ALBW was to ALttP. Keep the core gameplay (Light vs. Twilight, Wolf Form, OoT references, Light Spirits, etc.) but talk about and redo the parts that need fixing, having TP3D act as a sequel/prequel. If it's a prequel, explain the signinfcance of the blue-eyed beast to the Twili. Maybe the prequel Link saved the Twilight world before, contributing to the Twili legend.
Has anyone made a MH4 dex yet?
Like the one for 3U
just got a message that my zoldo new 3ds and the skull kid figure were sent and should arrive soon. woo.

It was somewhat explained during this cutscene.
Zelda Wiki also explains their origins if you don't understand the cutscene.
http://zeldawiki.org/Twili
The Twili are descendants of a tribe of sorcerers of unknown ethnicity referred to as Dark Interlopers, who eons ago were condemned to the Twilight Realm by the Golden Goddesses of Hyrule as punishment for their misgoverned attempt to use magic to claim the Triforce. Their "old magic" became known as the Fused Shadows, a powerful instrument. However, during their failed attempt to conquer the Sacred Realm, their Fused Shadow was split into four pieces and scattered throughout the two realms, The Twilight realm and Hyrule. The tribe lived and evolved in the Twilight Realm for centuries in isolation, mere shadows of what they once were, as over time they grew used to their surroundings and came to accept their fate. While some learned to love the beautiful peace that can be found only in Twilight, it drove other inhabitants mad.
My friend is getting his N3DSXL delivered tomorrow and he already has a 32GB micro-SD card ready for it. Will he be able to put it in the system before the initial setup or is there some pre-loaded stuff on the default card that can cause problems if it isn't there for the setup process?
Note that this is his first system, he won't be doing a system transfer, just throwing in a new card so he can get large download titles straight away.

Unless it states that it comes with special preinstalled game, the card can be blank

Thanks man, I just wasn't sure and my friend didn't want to fuck anything up by swapping them immediately. I'll give him the all-clear. :v:
Gamestop is doing a midnight release for MM3d, Man I hope I'm not the oldest one there. (I'll probably be the only one that bathed though.)

I was under the impression it didn't come with the game, unless that's US only.

US and JPN regions don't get it preinstalled because "if they want the skull kid figurine they're gonna have to buy the game twice! We love our customers! We also love eating glue!"
[editline]11th February 2015[/editline]
Though I guess I can't get too butthurt personally because scalper beat me and now I'll never have it anyway

Nintendumb
i've bought a new micro sd for my zelda 3ds since it only comes with a 4gig one
how do i get the pre installed software off the micro sd it comes with and onto my one?
You can either copy it over of re-download it. They licence for the game is stored on the 3ds and it's bound to the first NNID paired to the 3ds. The licence is still there even if the pre-downloaded install is removed.
I'm not entirely 100% sure though. I'm just repeating what I heard on the 3ds reddit.

you should just be able to copy the files from one SD, to the other using your computer, I did that with my regular 3DS and it didn't care.
Not defending Nintendo's recent string of bad choices, but blocks are a vauable resource after a few game downloads, which a game like MM would take a lot of.
My mm3d Amazon pre-order is shipping! Hope my best buy n3ds ships soon.
Okay so I'm pretty torn right now, I just found out that I can either:
A) get an N3DS XL with MM
Or
B) get my graphics card or peripherals for my rig that's far from done.
Help!:suicide:
