Okay so I'm pretty torn right now, I just found out that I can either: A) get an N3DS XL with MM Or B) get my graphics card or peripherals for my rig that's far from done. Help!:suicide:
wait on both, Nvidia is going to be showing new stuff in the beginning of march
Also new amd stuff has to be coming out soonish I would think. Not that I'm saying you should buy amd, but competition is good and they might offer something with more bang for the buck. Its what I do.
But then I'd have money and nothing. I'm not saying I don't like money but I do want something, which is why I budgeted for it. And I prefer amd over Nvidia but I was looking at a gtx 970 (I think) for around $300-$350 But I also want N3DS and MM too [editline]11th February 2015[/editline] I know all about the dilemma but I'm not too worried it's only .5 of a gig
Just wait like a month dude. Plus mm3d won't really benefit from the new 3ds. The n64 had 1 analog stick so the c stick won't help. And there aren't better textures on it. Only benefit over the old is the face tracking. Assuming you have a 3ds now just get mm3d and wait to decide what hardware you want (amd, nvidia , or an3ds)
Aonuma has confirmed N3DS exclusive features (the c-stick camera thing is the same as the extra control stick plug in thing for the regular 3DS) but I can't find what those features are. It's bizarre.
Ah shit, I guess I'll wait. That's the sensible thing to do, I'm sure part of me wanting an n3ds is nostalgia and impulse. So we'll see if nvidia or amd drop some game changers or not
Just a reminder for those of you who want to trade in your 3DS towards a N3DS at Gamestop; If you're old 3DS doesn't have the bar code and pin number sticker on the bottom (like mine) they won't take it. You know despite the fact that if you were to remove the battery cover, there's a secondary sticker with the bar code and pin number on it... Just be warned guys, don't be like me!

This probably isn't the place for this, but has anyone read the Majora's mask Manga? They took a lot of "Creative liberties" with it, Some are okay, some are fucking weird, my main complaint is that they made the last temple/entire inkana valley summarized in one page of link fighting Twinmold

Tho I like some of the stuff created for it. Like the origin of Majora, the fact that Fierce Deity is recognized by Anju as a demon god that probably roamed the land of Termina like Majora once did and that the Happy Mask Salesman is some sort of demon himself that is scared by Fierce Deity. The author even said that he had begun making the manga before the release. That is why the 1st chapter is something that is never shown in-game. Then he played the game and did the rest. Many other manga of the series did the same and created a variant of the story. In the OoT manga, they skipped most of the temples. The Shadow Temple isn't shown or mentioned, nor is Bongo Bongo. In its place is a Dark Link fight that comes out of the Well and somehow proves that Link is a true Hylian Knight (and explains the earrings). The author also added a Child and Adult Extra story of it's own creation, which I found neat. Two others series that got their own stories while pointing out key factors of their game are ALTTP and 4-Sword Adventure. What I like about them is the artists gave personalities to NPCs that don't have much. Hell, in OoT, Akira Himekawa even put Malon's dream of a white knight, which was a thing that a Gossip Stone says in the game. There is attention to detail even if it does twist the game's story and elements.
does anyone know if the australian version of the majora's mask 3ds comes with majora's mask pre installed? the uk version does so i'd imagine it would be the same here but i can't find anything

ebay listings say no so i guess that's my answer

But yeah, they are fresh looks and nice twists on our favorite games.
Still waiting for the new Club Nintendo rewards you said you'd give us Nintendo. Also speaking of rewards, the Soundtrack to LBW arrived today. And I pre-ordered MM3D.
So I downloaded Flipnote Studio 3D and noticed that the title screen has © 2013. Don't tell me this thing has been made that year, and if so, what the hell were they waiting for?

I was walking around a shop similar to wal-mart here in Australia and saw the new 3DS XL in a cabinet for sale. Could have bought it. I've never owned anything nintendo though.
Have you at least played some of the classics?
I've played a few of the Mario Kart's, Super Smash Bros, Super Mario 64 at friends places over the years... never touched anything Zelda though.

I'd recommend you try emulating some of those games and see if they're your kind of thing.
Looks like today is my Lucky day: [t]http://i.imgur.com/qW1kWi8.jpg[/t] Apparently some shops here did recieve skullkid figurines as a little extra for early pre-orders for the Majora's Mask N3DS.
So wait, the New 3DS only takes microsd? How does the transfer work this time around then?
So wait, the New 3DS only takes microsd? How does the transfer work this time around then?
You use your computer or you have to redownload all.
You use your computer or you have to redownload all.
I was thinking that but wasn't sure if it would work. Thanks man, glad I don't have to redownload it all.
one more day cant wait i hope wallmart has the new 3ds in in stock on friday
one more day cant wait i hope wallmart has the new 3ds in in stock on friday
If you can, try for the MMN3DS at Target when it opens, unless you don't like the design of that one.
Going to pick it up after work tonight, thank god for midnight releases and working till 11.
Curious, has anyone ordered the 3DS from gamestop or any of the games? I haven't got a shipping notification yet and kinda worried.
