I'd test how they feel- don't wanna get stuck with one if you don't like how you play. If they feel the same, and you don't care about 3D (or folding it for your pocket), get the 2DS. Else, get the 3DS.

Which btw is a major pain in the arse, I took my back off to put my 64 GB Mini-SD in and it only slightly wouldn't go back on properly after putting it back on, one side would slightly slip off the clips.
I managed to fix it by fucking around with it, but Jesus Christ what a bad design decision.
Turns out all the gamestops in my area don't have an new 3ds's in stock, they were all pre-ordered.
At least they had plenty of copies of majora's mask.

So I got to Target at 5:00 AM this morning, and was fourth in line. They said they had ten of the special new 3DSes. They actually only had 3 of the MM one, the one I actually cared about. By then it was too late to get in line at any other stores, because it was 7:00. :suicide:
In other news, I went into a Gamestop today looking for an Ike Amiibo, and I came out with Monster Hunter 4, and it's pre-order bonus pin. I did not pre-order this game, and I got the pre-order bonus anyway. Not sure how that happened. I know absolutely nothing about this game other than you kill stuff in the style of Shadow of the Colossus, and it's supposed to be really cool. What should I know about this game?

It should, converting the thing to fat32 was a pain, though.

Most likely this is Nintendo's fault, not giving enough. That or retailers are still wary if Nintendo products and would rather have the shelf space for Xbox/Playstation.
Managed to get the last New 3DS XL at the store, the new 3D is amazing!
I've seen from Pat from TBFP tweet about getting about three dead pixels and Mysion's dysfunctional touch screen. Are these issues rare exceptions or should I hold off on getting a N3DS due to these kids of problems arising with other people?
