How do I get the bottle from [sp]Gorman[/sp]? I keep talking to him with the mask on while he's asleep and he says the same thing he says when I don't have the mask on.
Is it the 2nd day?
Has anyone been successful in having their NNID removed from a 3DS they no longer own or wasn't functioning so they could attach it to a new system? If so, what kind of process did you have to go through? I was going to send a support ticket through this site, giving them my NNID and my old 3DS serial number and explaining that I sold my 3DS to pay for my New 3DS pre-order so I no longer have access to it.
Turns out it can't be the same cycle you got the mask from him
If you don't have the New 3DS/Circle Pad Pro, your only method to control the camera is the L-Trigger to center it behind you, just as OOT3D.
okay that's good. ill keep trying to find the n3ds though stores here are busting my balls, i only managed to get mm3d after being told yesterday i couldn't have it due to preorders...

I was in a similar position literally 15 minutes ago, I just called their customer support line (there doesn't seem to be a ticket system in aus). I explained that my old 3ds was non-operational and asked how I could go about transferring my NNID. They ask for the serial numbers of both consoles, your NNID + email and a phone number. They then confirm by email, and after you confirm your details, they told me the process will take up to 5 business days. Hopefully the same works for you.
That scene where the Gorman brothers prepare the "Special Milk" was pretty hilarious :v:

Awesome. Good to know it's possible.
What kind of details do they need? I have no idea where to find my NNID info because I can't seem to find a place to log in online, and I...can't really remember my NNID because I just had it set to always be logged in :v:
Miiverse?
I didn't even know you could log in to Miiverse from a browser. Thank you!

Oh I also could have used my Wii U. I'm not dumb, I swear :v:

All they seemed to need was my NNID, the two serial numbers, my email and my phone number. What you should note is that there are a number of things that can't be transferred:
Certain content is not able to be transferred – including (but not limited to) the following:
- Add-On Content
- In-Game purchases
- Save game data
- Any Nintendo eShop funds balance that may be on the Source console
- Titles removed / no longer available from Nintendo eShop
On another note, has anyone noticed major slowdowns in MM3D, even on the N3DS? I get them mainly when you break a whole lot of pots, and during a few stages in the horse race.

I've mostly noticed them when goron rolling over a patch of ground that generates a lot of dust clouds.

I'm glad the troupe leader mask has an actual bonus attached besides convenience. 7 bottles, bitches!

Isn't save data saved on your memory card?
Hopefully that's the case. I am still mad that I'll lose my Persona Q DLC and some others though.

Hmm actually, yeah. Good point. Though it wouldn't surprise me if it's encrypted or something so that only one system can read it...
So what are the known defects with the N3DS?
When I get mine after Best Buy ships it some time in the next 10 years, I need to make sure it's not broken.
Well just reached the Twinmold (Stone Tower Temple boss) in Majora 3D, and holy shit I fucking love what they did to him now. Best Boss in the remake (N64 is still Goht).
... but let me tell you: he's much harder compare to the N64. Got my ass handed from him 2 times and still haven't beaten him: 1st time I lost my hearts and the 2nd the moon fell because I'm fighting him in the last day at night.

The whole Goron section was very annoying for that. I got used to it, but it's missed quality control. How did they not see that when playtesting the Mountain?

It gets worse in great bay temple. Those grabbing enemy things cause my framerate to tank, making sections almost impossible to do without taking damage. I really hope we get a patch to (at least) make them more bearable, but I don't think that's likely.
Edit:
In fact, it seems I get frame drops in nearly every room in this temple.
Most of my lag came from when I had my 3D on was playing the Ocarina Songs (the cutscene that plays when you play a correct song), did lag on the goron race with all the damn dust that comes out of all the borons.
Oh, seeing that you can still glitch out Fierce Deity, does the 4th Day glitch still works?

A few I know of are that the DPad likes to make noises and if you tap it feel like it's going to fall out, but it's fine. And minor visual defects on every button.

MM3D wasn't developed for the N3DS, it was developed to be used with the Circle Pad Pro but then Nintendo told Grezzo that they have new hardware that would be a perfect fit for this to be a launch title, so what we got was a game that was made for the original 3DS but a launch title for the New 3DS.
Does the c-stick only have 4 directions? I can't seem to get it to do diagonals.
Edit: It seems to be up to the software. You can see it has full control in calibration
God Ikana Castle is really a good place to farm Rupees, just in the central room, wear a "scary" mask to make the ReDeads dance and then kill them for ~4 Red Rupees, leave and repeat.

I really like the gold theme they released on the eShop. It fits well with the Majoras Mask N3DS, also I can listen to Song of Healing for days.

Shame the US doesn't currently have the regular sized N3DS. Some of the announced Zelda faceplates are getting a lot of positive responses (especially No. 055).

Anyone else think one of the reasons for the regular 3ds not coming to america is because they were afraid of scalpers trying to grab all the faceplates? I feel that'd affect it in some way.
if they have a valid reason for not selling the new 3DS i wish they'd just come out and say it
i don't want to be stuck with the same ugly solid color design for the next few years

Their reasoning is that the regular non-XL 3DS didn't sell nearly as well as the XL, so they didn't see a point in bringing over the non-XL New3DS as it wouldn't sell enough to make it worth it. Though, tbh, even though I love the XL, I wouldn't mind a regular sized New3DS.

Faceplates aren't region locked ;)
I might have to consider importing #055 for my n3DS. How much do the faceplates usually run?
