Like I've been talking about, I had to call Nintendo to have them transfer my NNID over to my New 3DS since I sold my old one to buy it.
I got the email today and was finally able to link my NNID to my new 3DS, so I have access to my games and add-ons and such, but for some reason my New 3DS is saying that I don't have any data on my SD card.
I literally took the folder from my old SD card, put it on my computer, then transferred [I]everything[/I] to a MicroSD to use on my New 3DS, but even after my NNID is linked, it won't "access" the data on the SD card. I can redownload my games from the eShop, but I already have them downloaded on the MicroSD along with all my save data and shit.
Anyone know what I have to do here, or did I lose [I]everything[/I]?
Yeah you lost everything. Same thing happened to me when i got my first XL. (unless there is some way of still getting it.)

Apparently you only keep everything if you do a system transfer directly between two systems.
So I sent in my Majora's Mask New 3DS XL for repair yesterday because of dead pixels. Just got an email saying they've already got it and have started repairs. Hope I get it back soon. Damn dead pixels. I just want to play Majora's Mask and Monster Hunter...

I'm mostly just angry about losing my Persona Q maps and ALL my Pokemon from Alpha Sapphire and Y. I put a [I]shit ton[/I] of time into those games. Had a lot of time in Animal Crossing too, but I haven't played it much recently.

In my experience it was sent to and from the repair center in about two weeks.

I was complaining a while ago about HMS giving you the Bombers Notebook, but now I've got a good reason and I think it's even better than the original version.
[sp]It's Skullkid's copy when he was a Bomber. He dropped it when looting HMS, so he gives it to you to do all the good deeds that Skullkid didn't do and unfuck all the fucking he did as well. [/sp] Its wonderful.
Apparently there's going to be a sick new Xenoblade 3DS face plate.

... That actually fits it much more seamlessly into the story. It even gives you extra personal motivation to really make use of it.
Previously it was only glossed over that [sp]Skull Kid was a bomber[/sp], with just a small handful of NPCs ever referencing this.

Yah the email says 1 and a half to 2 weeks. I live in the same state so I'm hoping it gets back faster than that. Their website says my order is in service now.

It's also the reason why the Bombers act the way they do towards Deku Link. It's a nice way to handle this little story. They became even more useful since they actively run towards you to tell you rumors which hint at stuff that you would normally miss. It's not as cryptic as Zelda 2 but for those who never played it, it's a nice way to get them to investigate.
I hope that in Zelda U, they handle sidequests NPC the same way they did in Majora's Mask. All those you help have a backstory and a personality to go along, some more then others. Even monsters that are suppose to generally be a threat to Link have a story to tell like the Stalchildren, Skull Keeta and Igos.
Hell, even gibdos aren't that bad. There is almost no forgettable character in MM. They all had a certain care put into their creation.
I still hold Majora's Mask on one of the highest pillars possible for "most sympathetic world design" in gaming.
Every character, place and interaction was crafted so well that it's hard not to relate to their plights, their regrets, or their greater fear of their own doom.
Just picked up a new 3DS XL, the nearby Target had one in stock.

Use a piece of fabric between it and your thumb. If it works perfectly then, score it using a scouring pad or very fine grit sandpaper to give it more grip.

How do I take ingame pictures to upload them outside of the game?
[sp]So I was in the woodfall temple, started around 10AM ingame time on Day 1, and I was doing fine and dandy, had to back track once to check out some beehives where I thought a Stray Fairy would be at. By the time I got to the last room before the Boss Room, it was close to 5 minutes before death, I got all the fairies in that room and I realized that I was missing one, and by this time it was 5 minutes. I was panicking and looked up a guide to find the last one, and then I remembered I could slow down time, so I got the fairy, did the last room which I fucked up many times, and finally got into Odolwa around 4 minutes left till fuck me over moon. I beat him, got the magic enhancement and returned the princess with 1 minute left, I then tried the Deku Butler race and I was close but I fucked up with one of my jumps leaving me with 30 seconds, thinking I could do it, I tried to do it, but sadly once I got past the room I fucked up at, I had 3 seconds left. I couldn't do anything so the moon crashed.[/sp]

Just take a green scouring pad, commonly available on the back of a sponge, fold it up, and use one of the corners to scratch up the nub to give it more of a grip. do it a little, then test it in a game, then do it some more if it's not good enough.
Don't go in circles, make vertical and horizontal scratches - I did down and then to the right, so that's what I suggest, but you can do up and to the left, or any cardinal directions you want.
Make sure NOT to touch the rest of your 3ds with the scouring pad, it will most likely leave scratches.
It won't break if you do it wrong, you just want to scratch up the surface to give it more grip.
