Why is there so much Monster Hunter porn? I was searching the MH tag on Tumblr to see how the game is, but the amount of NSFW content is discouraging me to get the game. Is the audience really horny guys, or something?
Not sure where the hell you're looking, I was curious to see if tumblr was that awful and decided to look and it is just monster hunter related content. Some are quite funny. [thumb]https://40.media.tumblr.com/f156730d207ad14acccde0b4487fa148/tumblr_njtkx4wTxw1r0sqjpo1_400.jpg[/thumb]
So i got to Nerscylla. think i need to upgrade my weapons but i haven't seemed to have found any items that makes better insect glaives at all, even worse since the weapon dulls down after a few hits on it that everything else (including mandibles) just bounces too much. armor skill point system is kinda complicated, same with the whole essence baiting. surprised that i got this far with a mostly basic armor, some improved boots from that egg delivery quest and a mask made from said creatures. still dieing a bit too much.
Best to just hit Nerscylla in its big abdomen, as that is its weak point. As for an upgrade to the glaive, you'll find Nerscylla will provide a solution to that. As for getting a better armor set, try farming the Velocidrome or (it pains me to say this) Yian Kut-ku, as they both give sets that grant higher attack bonuses and some other useful skills (Velocidrome gives Psychic skill, which can upgrade to Autotracker. You'll always know where the large monsters are on the map! Super cool!)
it pains me to say this, Yian Kut-ku
I found fighting the Yian Kut-Ku for parts to eventually get it's armour pretty great practice, and the armour itself has lasted me all the way to the Gore Magala which I eventually farmed and swapped out for that instead, because it was good enough that I just didn't need to change it out for anything else. Plus the Nostalgia factor, it's good seeing that bastard again despite him being a pain in the arse to fight for the first few matches. Plus the added fire resistance is pretty helpful.
This has probably been asked already but I didn't know about the Nintendo and digital games thing and I'm looking at getting the new 3ds, is is possible to transfer your saves over if the games are digital? Is it just a normal system transfer?
So I sent in my Majora's Mask New 3DS XL for repair last tuesday after I learned it had dead pixels. Just got it back today and I'm happy to say there are no dead pixels. No real issues I've noticed with the system itself either after getting it back. 6 days was all it took. Pretty nice. Now I just gotta transfer. Luckily I don't have too much saved on my 3ds. Edit: Transfer was super fucking easy wow people over exaggerated that shit. Getting used to the feel of the system now. The control pad feels a bit rougher than the original 3ds but I think I just need to give it time to break in. Really enjoying it though.
An EB Games in the city was still taking pre-orders for the second shipment of the MM N3DS XL. I can't wait until the end of March. (If you live in Brisbane, the EB Games on Queen St.(not the mall, the one near HJ) was where I found the pre-order.)
My New 3DS finally came in today! The louder volume is something I've been wanting for the longest time.
Behold, my DS/ 3DS collection. :v: I forgot how much of a glare magnet the original 3DS was until I took this photo. (I used to have a DS Lite, but the internal battery shorted out and became defective. Never bothered to replace it cuz by that time I already had a DSi.)
The 3D on the new one is actually good omg. I don't get a migraine by just looking at it.
The 3D on the new one is actually good omg. I don't get a migraine by just looking at it.
I was surprised by how fast the face tracking is. Also, does anyone else's top screen on the N3DSXL wobble back and forth slightly?
I was surprised by how fast the face tracking is. Also, does anyone else's top screen on the N3DSXL wobble back and forth slightly?
Isn't this a thing that the old XL did as well?
I was surprised by how fast the face tracking is. Also, does anyone else's top screen on the N3DSXL wobble back and forth slightly?
Yes it does, but not enough to be a bother.
Isn't this a thing that the old XL did as well?
Every DS has done that.
Heads up, you won't get a better IG till later on. The main draw is the bug, not the staff itself strangely enough so there's not a whole lot of options in LR.
I think I finally found a good decal for my future N3DS XL! [t]http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/NjEzWDYxMw==/z/V8AAAOSwk5FUyo71/$_12.JPG[/t] http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pokemon-Pikachu-Limited-Edition-Decal-Skin-Sticker-NEW-Nintendo-3DS-XL-LL-Red/331464277381?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20131003132420%26meid%3Dbbcbacc09d8c4b4b8c3ab73823323a01%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D191498477987&rt=nc There are also decals for the LoZ and Persona Q limited 3DS.
So I just got my New 3DS XL back today and is the circle pad feeling kind of rough at the start natural? I'm comparing it to the original 3ds that I've been using up until now and the original 3ds' control pad feels a lot smoother. This could just be the fact that I've had the original 3ds forever and I've had time to break it in. But the New 3DS XL control pad just doesn't feel very smooth. It kinda has this stiff feel to it but It feels like it's getting better as time goes on but I'm just not sure. I might just be a crazy person though. I'm going back and messing with my old control pad on my original 3ds and it just feels like a semi looser version of this. I think I just need to get used to the new one.

So I'm thinking of getting the MH edition of the New 3DS, I'm wonder how to like hardreset my old 3DS or wipe all of the memory as if it was bought fresh so when I get my New 3DS so I can pass it down to a relative. Also is it possible if my bro were to take in the 3DS making a Mii and all, would I able to log into the eshop with my account and buy him a game so he can play?
I got both my brother and my mom pretty bitchin' birthday presents this year, so I asked for the New 3DS from the both of them for mine. One day my brother surprises me like a month early... with an old 3DS XL. :v: Thanks for the confusing name, Nintendo. Not like the new one is in stock anywhere anyways.
Been playing and enjoying the shit out of MH4U, played for 8 hours straight today alone, addictive as Hell but holy FUCK do my hands hurt. Why does the 3DS have to be so awkward to hold? Also, will I be missing too much if I don't do single-player at all until maybe the end? Other than the few tutorial quests I've been playing straight coop.

What was different at the last step though was that I needed to delete all data from the n3DS micro-SD card before I could manually copy everything from my old 3DS SD-card onto it.

Nothing is more annoying then some guy joining HR with a shitty palico or someone just wearing Jaggi armor with "no guys I promise I'm good". I've joined so many rooms of HR 5-6 guys who clearly got there by getting carried.
I'm still on HR1. This is my first monster hunter, and i have so much to learn.

I do plan to do the singleplayer now though, thanks for the info guys.
I tried my friend's Circle Pad Pro yesterday, and I didn't know it used IR to connect with the 3DS so I looked like a confused idiot trying to find out how I plug it in.
godamn, didn't' think the New 3DS was gonna be soldout in every store of a 10 mile radius of me. I am sad as fuck

I'm HR3 right now and I've had better gear then HR5-6 people and that's absurd.
Got my New 3ds XL.
Preordered the MM special edition on the 28th of jan... expected delivery date... 31st march, I didnt get into the first batch so i have a very long wait to get a new 3ds
So I just finished MM3D after getting the Fierce Deity Mask (which I didn't get on any of my original playthroughs) and holy shit does it make the final battle anticlimactic. I beat all of Majora's formes in under a minute while not losing more than 1 heart. The whole fight can literally be done by holding L and spamming B. I'll probably go back and fight him regularly because man, that was way too easy, even for a thing that requires so much before you can obtain it.
